Chapter 367 Leah breaks down and transforms into a clown on the spot!

Even after they joined the Mandala family, they were not valued by Auguto; they were merely toys picked up by the Mandala family, and even a servant secretly looked down on them.

If she doesn't become strong, no one can be strong for her; Leah realized this fact when she was very young.

But everything changed when they arrived in White Dove City.

With only a dozen or so gold coins left, Leah found a wandering adventurer who had lost his memory on the road.

His sister became her best friend, and he himself was good at everything except for being unfamiliar with the culture and customs of the Azure Province. From trivial matters in life to creating strategies for the World Tree, he could handle both hostile adventurers and monsters with ease.

Lia only needs to focus on training and improving her swordsmanship; everything else can be left to the other party.

The adventurer was like a tall wall, protecting fifteen-year-old Leah, who experienced a sense of security for the first time in her life.

It was also in White Dove City that Lia received her first birthday gift from someone other than her mother, and for the first time, someone brought her a strawberry cake every month.

Leah couldn't help but become addicted to it, developing a habitual dependence, and unilaterally believed that this relationship could continue until the end of the adventure.

But gradually, Leah noticed something was amiss. The adventurer's kindness didn't stem from the care among team members; rather, he simply saw her as an immature child. Even though she was the captain, he often spoke to her in a lecturing tone, and even when she requested the entire team to assemble and depart, he forcefully stopped her. She could never find any trust in his eyes.

“That night when the Great Mythic+ was locked down,” Leah paused, then said, “I’m glad you admitted you still consider me a companion.”

That was the happiest night for Lia in over a year, as if she had returned to the very beginning of the Snow Goose team's formation. There were no endless arguments; everyone was united and moving towards the same goal.

But as time went on, the relationship soured.

Linda's impression of her was always that of an immature child, rather than an adult woman.

During the fireworks festival, and also when they shared a bed in the secluded secret realm... Leah waited all night, but all she heard were strange rustling sounds from Linda and Tasia!

To prevent her from hearing, Linda even covered Tasia with the blanket!

Through these events, Leah finally realized that she was now a complete outsider.

Lia slashed her sword at Linda, her booming voice drowning out the sour taste of defeat and envy in her words:

"Why are you treating me differently? We're the ones who've spent the most time together, right? If we're talking about who's the best to you, it should definitely be me!"

It seemed that as long as you shouted loud enough, you wouldn't be so embarrassed. Everyone in the square heard Lia's outrageous statement.

Linda blocked Lia's attack, sending her flying five meters away.

His pupils dilated slightly.

What on earth is this guy saying?

Everyone in the audience, including the more than 10,000 people present, fell silent. What Leah had said was simply too shameful; she was like a broken clown, uttering the words hidden deep within her heart.

No one could imagine how thick-skinned Leah must be to think that Linda had to treat her the best.

But some sentimental adventurers were moved to tears.

As Camille sat in the hot air balloon, sniffling and choking back tears, she said, "It's so touching. This is because the daughter sees her father surrounded by more and more women and doesn't care about her at all, which makes her feel neglected and causes her to become extremely jealous!"

Is that how it is?

Linda glanced at Kami in surprise, then looked at Leah, whose face was flushed with embarrassment.

Is Leah's behavior all along due to jealousy?

"But that's not right!"

Linda looked puzzled: "I do have many Oathbound Women, and they're all beautiful girls, envied by others. I admit that, but..."

These words made a group of male adventurers roll their eyes. Why did these facts sound so infuriating coming from Linda's mouth?

"But what does this have to do with Leah?"

Linda was puzzled: "She said herself that she considered me an enemy, or at the very least a competitor. My teammates and I are very much in love, so why is she jealous?"

For some reason, after saying these things, Linda noticed that the people in the audience were looking at her with pity.

President Vilen was also sighing and rubbing his forehead.

In the contestant tunnel area, Ai Ke heard Lin Da's voice from the speakers on the big screen, and her heart skipped a beat, sensing that something terrible was about to happen.

The red Chihuahua is going to overtake the lame Golden Retriever in a three-year race!

Absolutely not!

Eko desperately wanted to jump onto the stage and use her [Rain of Light] to send those two packing, she couldn't let them continue talking—but! Rochelle was right outside!

Aiko didn't dare show her face at all; she could only desperately prick up her ears, hoping that bastard Kami would stop "translating."

Leah said angrily, "Hmph, who's jealous? You're just a pervert who throws weird parties all day long. Don't be so self-important!"

"She means that you never invite her to your silver parties," Camille said excitedly.

"Is that how it is???"

Linda was speechless.

Leah: "Aaaaah! I'm going to kill you!"

Kami, with tears in her eyes, wiped them with a handkerchief: "If you don't invite her to your next silver party, she'll kill you."

"Enough! Enough!"

A blush spread from the girl's fair cheeks to her earlobes, and Lia's eyes turned into burnt circles as she let out hysterical screams.
