Chapter 380 A Date and a Return to Familiar Places

Gazing in the direction where the two had disappeared, Anna cupped her face in her hands, her heart pounding with excitement.

If those two really go to a love hotel... she'll have to hide under the bed and watch them!

The fools Linda and Leah had no idea that they had already fallen into her trap.

Anna bribed all the couples' hotels near that street, including the one near the "Fat Aunt's Cake Shop".

Just before Linda and the other person went inside, Anna could hide under the bed through the internal staff passage and wait for them!

As for her aura... Anna has a high-quality magical artifact that won't be detected even if she's just a door away from Linda.

Although I don't think their relationship will develop that quickly, I still have to be careful.

The aggrieved soul within Anna is burning fiercely!

Following Cammy and Ike, Anna also went up.

...

It took about half an hour for Linda to drive the carriage from the city center to Willow Leaf Street.

This street is located on the northwest side of the Sparrow District.

The city's public library branch, some snack shops, taverns, underground casinos... are all located here, making it a good place for adventurers to relax after returning from the World Tree.

Linda pulled on the reins and stopped the carriage.

He took out a portable hitching post from his spatial ring, which adhered to the ground like a magnet.

There was an open-air breakfast restaurant nearby, and although it was only just getting light, the wooden tables were already full of people.

The aroma of milk and bread wafted over on the breeze.

This familiar taste evoked even more memories for Linda.

In the past, the Snow Goose Adventure Team could just fill a small wooden table like this. When there wasn't time to make breakfast, they would eat a glass of milk with bread loaded with bacon, vegetables, and cheese, and then head out into the wild.

As Linda tied up the horse and reminisced, strange looks came from the breakfast shop.

Linda's carriage seemed out of place in the impoverished and backward Sparrow District: her horse had pure black fur, and its breathing was deep and heavy, like the low roar of a lion. The hooves were exceptionally large, and the inlaid horseshoes gleamed with a cold, icy light, from which one could vaguely sense a trace of wind magic.

In Willow Leaf Street, a place where low-level adventurers, vagrants, and the poor gather, owning a carriage is considered a sign of wealth. And this carriage pulled by Blackbloods is worth more than most of them in terms of just one horseshoe.

When Linda's carriage appeared on Willow Leaf Street, it was as if a well-dressed nobleman walked into a group of homeless people with torn shoes and exposed toes; it was impossible not to attract attention.

"That carriage must have cost several thousand gold coins, tsk tsk, rich people."

"Several thousand? Ha! Tens of thousands would be more like it! Don't you even know who the car owner is!"

"He looks familiar, like I've seen him in the newspaper..."

A group of adventurers whispered among themselves.

Linda was used to being judged and ignored those people. He opened the door of the carriage and called Liya down.

If Linda's carriage only caused a brief stir, then when Lia, wearing a baseball cap and with long, bright red hair reaching her waist, stepped out of the carriage, it caused a complete sensation.

All eyes were fixed on Leah, glued to her.

In a dirty and chaotic place like Willow Leaf Street, beautiful female adventurers are rare, and top-tier beauties like Lia are even rarer.

"Brothers, stop eating and hurry up and watch! If you don't watch now, they'll be gone!"

"Holy crap?!"

"The bear is a bit small, but it's very beautiful! Brothers, I'm going for it. If I can hook it up and take it home, I'll be in luck!"

A subspecies leopard beastman with dyed yellow hair and an earring rubbed his hands together with a grin and walked towards Linda and the others.

"Hello, I'm Pike, a genius with the potential to become a level 10 adventurer. Would you like to have a drink at the [Great Drum Tavern], miss? It's on me!"

Piqué, hands in his pockets, walked toward Leah with a grin.

Pique regretted it halfway there.

The girl's small face under the baseball cap gradually became clear.

Those flamboyant red hairs and eyes that seemed to burn with flames made Pique's heart skip a beat.

How did this scourge end up back on Willow Leaf Street?!

But it was too late for regrets. Piqué stood in front of Leah with a forced laugh, his legs trembling like leaves, almost kneeling down.

Leah: "Get lost."

"Yes, sir, I'll get going right away!"

Pique, feeling like he'd been granted a pardon, scurried back to his seat.

His back was soaked with cold sweat, and his face was frighteningly pale.

He held the warm milk cup, but his hand trembled so badly that he spilled it all over his pants.

"What's wrong with you? You're too scared to even talk to a little girl? That's so lame!"

The others at the table looked at Pique curiously, and some even made sarcastic remarks. But Pique remained silent, his head bowed tightly.

Only after the couple had walked away did Pique's trembling gradually subside, and he let out a long breath.

"Damn it, I couldn't see clearly because of the hat, that guy... it's the [Demon of Willow Leaf Street], Leah!"

The table fell silent.

Everyone looked surprised and uncertain.

"Hey, Pico, are you sure you're not mistaken? Is that Leah who fought her way from the south to the north of Willow Leaf Street and beat over thirty adventurers into the hospital?"

"No way! I remember that girl as a very rustic and violent female gorilla. How could that beautifully dressed girl be her?"

"If that person is Leah, I'll eat shit."

Pico was furious: "Are you doubting my eyesight, [Hunter King] Pico? Apart from Leah, who has become a Star-Rank Adventurer and whose name resounds throughout White Dove City, who can scare me, Pico, to the point of wetting my pants? Do you think my title of [Hunter King] is just for show?"
