Chapter 420 Aiko Self-Destructs, the Peeping Tom and Big Liar!?

"You got it right?" The passersby looked at Linda in surprise.

"The fortune teller is really accurate, isn't she? She told me where I could meet my other half, and today we've already made a pact!"

A blond leopard, with his arm around a little elf girl in a school uniform, said smugly.

"It was really accurate. I lost my short sword, and the fortune teller gave me a specific location. I went to check, and it really was there."

"That's not all, Miss Fortune Teller also..."

Suddenly, a group of adventurers appeared out of nowhere, chattering and praising the fortune teller's incredible abilities.

Even with her strong will, Linda couldn't help but feel a pang of self-doubt.

His birthday was known only to the members of the Phoenix Flower team and a few others.

Just to be on the safe side, he prepared to ask a second question.

What color were the underwear I wore a week ago?

Besides Linda, there are only four other people who know the answer.

The four people were all behind him.

Linda regained her composure and tapped the wooden table. "If you can't answer, I'll have the Knights confiscate your stall."

"Blue." The fortune teller stroked the crystal ball, looked at the white mist in his eyes, and smiled. "Or boxer shorts."

"this"

Linda's expression changed.

Seeing his expression, another gasp erupted from the crowd.

The fortune teller is indeed incredibly powerful!

Tasia and the others looked at each other in disbelief.

In theory, only the four of them should know Linda's birthday and the color of her underwear.

Is this fortune teller a great sage in disguise?

Linda: "Then I'll ask again."

"Sir, each person has a limited number of questions. You are an exception because you are a celebrity and have the opportunity to ask multiple questions. But even you can only ask one more question at most. After that, I will refuse all divinations concerning you."

The fortune teller said seriously.

"I understand." Linda rubbed his chin, thinking to himself, "Assuming the other party is genuine, I'll need to do a divination." Indeed...

"Please tell me where I can find the light mage I want."

Linda, with a solemn expression, placed her hands on her knees and bowed slightly to the fortune teller who appeared to be a great sage.

Breaking through levels 16 and 17 is the most urgent task for the Phoenix Flower.

If the fortune teller could help her solve this problem, Linda would be happy to pay not just a thousand gold coins, but even a million.

The person you're looking for

The fortune teller lowered his head to examine the crystal ball, his voice distant and ethereal, as if possessed by a deity: "Tomorrow at noon, near the musical fountain on Central Street, the answer will be there. So says the spirit of fate."

"Central Street, musical fountain."

Linda seemed to be deep in thought.

If I remember correctly, that's one of the three most popular dating spots in White Dove City.

"If I find that monk tomorrow, I will come to thank you."

Linda left a purple-gold coin and led her team members away.

The crowd murmured, "The fortune teller is really amazing. She can even figure out Captain Linda's birthday and the color of her underwear."

"We'll have to do some serious divination now."

"Damn it, I only have three gold coins left in my pocket."

"Please do not push or shove, please queue in an orderly manner. We will be closing in half an hour today."

The fortune teller stared at Linda's retreating figure, a sly smile playing on her lips beneath her veil.

Before we knew it, it was noon the next day.

Linda dressed in a simple black tracksuit and drove the carriage to Central Street.

The musical fountain is located near the Imperial Credit Trading Company. At night, the magic circle glows and emits beautiful music, making it the second most popular dating spot.

Incidentally, the first and third places are Bunny Girl Magical Game Center and Swan Amusement Park, respectively.

"This is it."

Linda stopped the carriage and walked ahead.

In the spacious square, adventurers came and went, laughing and joking, mostly in pairs of men and women, behaving intimately.

In the middle of the square is a huge fountain, inside which is a stone sculpture in the shape of a world tree.

The fountain sprays out umbrella-shaped curtains, more than fifteen meters in diameter, from the top, blocking out the scorching sun. Many people sit on the platform at the edge of the fountain to cool off.

"The mage I'm looking for is among this group of people."

Linda's gaze swept over.

There were strong orcs carrying greatswords.

A lithe, green-haired elf.

A man wearing a red mage's hat.

There are all kinds of people.

The common point is that they are all at very low levels; none of them have reached level 20.

It can help you break through level 16, at least to the Star Rank.

Linda shifted her gaze to the other side.

That is

Linda's eyes widened slightly.

Even though she was used to seeing beautiful girls, Linda was still somewhat amazed when she saw that person's back view.

A beautiful blonde girl in a white dress sat quietly on the stone platform.

She had her legs together, slightly tilted to one side, with a bag of cat food on top of her.

The girl gently brushed her blonde hair behind her ear with one hand, and with the other hand she held cat food, bending down to feed a stray cat.

The stray cat had orange fur and a limp in its hind leg with obvious tire tracks, suggesting it was hit by a horse-drawn carriage.

It lost trust in the adventurer and stared warily at the girl in the white dress.

But on the other hand, its hungry stomach made it linger over the cat food in the girl's palm.

"Suckling."

The girl uttered a soft, melodious sound that the small animals could hardly resist.

The stray cat tentatively dragged its limping legs toward the girl.

Perhaps out of sympathy for the cat's pitiful state, the girl bit her lip with a heavy heart, lowered her body even further, scattered the cat food on the ground, and took a few steps back.
