The flames in the fireplace flickered, and the Phoenix Flower team members who were warming themselves by the fire all looked up in surprise.
Monica regained some of her senses and looked at Leah with a dazed expression.
Despite the many changes the red-haired girl had undergone in the past year, Monica still recognized her and stammered, "Lia, can't we stay?"
Lia nodded coldly: "Come back tomorrow. I'll arrange accommodations for you in advance."
"What's the meaning?"
Linda laughed in exasperation: "I came all this way just to join your White Dove Alliance, didn't I?" She glanced at the wound on Leah's side, "And what happened to this?"
"It's nothing, you can go now." Leah's eyes flickered, her words vague.
Linda had lived with the girl in front of him for three years. He could tell where she was itchy just by the way she moved her butt. Lia's current appearance was a typical case of being stubborn and putting on a brave face!
“We’re not just old teammates anymore,” Linda sighed helplessly, gently tapping Leah on the head.
When his "magic sword" was stained with crimson, a symbol of purity, the contract was already established.
Lia was also one of his Oathbearers.
Hearing this, Leah's face burned.
She glared at Linda and spat, "You said it yourself, it'll be too late to regret it later."
"Treat the wound first." Linda said nonchalantly, taking out a bottle of dark green potion from her ring.
This dropped in the level 27 dungeon; it's called [Super Healing Potion], and it's very effective for superficial wounds.
Tasia and the others saw Linda squatting on the ground, tending to Lia's wounds, and their eyes flashed with a strange light.
Anna curled her lips into a smile, put her hands behind her back, and let out a strange "fufufu" laugh.
He said he didn't care about the red-haired dwarf at all, but the girl's position in his heart was probably no less than that of any of his teammates.
Lia's gaze softened, and she let Linda take out gauze and apply medicine to the wound.
The atmosphere in the living room was peaceful and harmonious, except for a large-eared mouse standing on a stool, staring blankly, as if struck by lightning.
Shu Li scratched his head awkwardly.
Seeing the black-haired man dip his finger in the green potion and apply it to Leah's waist, Shu Li's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets from the sourness. He ran to Linda's side.
"What are you doing? I know you care about Miss Leah, but please be mindful of the difference between men and women! Give the potion to Eko or Isa and let them apply it."
Linda glanced at it and saw a big-eared rat. It was almost the same size as the rat when Linda was squatting down, and its magical aura was quite weak. Was the White Dove Alliance full of members like this?
However, there is some truth to what the other party said. The process of using the [Super Healing Potion] to make new flesh grow from the wound is both painful and itchy, which is unbearable for most people. It might even make Leah look ugly.
Linda: "Thank you for reminding me."
Shu Li smiled proudly: "No need to thank me. I care about Miss Lia more than you do. If you need anything in the future, just come to me. Don't bother Miss Lia; she needs rest."
"I see."
Linda spoke politely, but her eyebrows furrowed.
A moment later, Lia instructed Tolu to prepare a room for the Phoenix Flower, and then retrieved a bottle of Warm Fruit Potion from the warehouse.
The potion is worth 100 points, which is quite expensive for ordinary members, but as one of the three leaders of the White Dove Alliance, Lia can easily obtain a bottle of potion by exercising her private power.
The liquid was bright red and contained in a long, transparent test tube, which also contained many things that looked like strawberry seeds.
Linda quickly opened the cork and fed it to Monica.
Glug glug glug!
After finishing the bottle of medicine, Monica licked her lips with lingering relish, a smile spreading across her face: "It tastes so good!"
Her originally pale face gained some color.
Linda pressed her head against Monica's forehead to check her temperature and found that it was returning to normal.
This medicine is amazing! I need to buy a few more bottles to keep on hand.
Lia reassured them, "Actually, you don't need to worry too much. It's normal to feel out of place when you first arrive in Ice Abyss. People like us from White Dove City can all walk around normally outside in about half a month. Um, it's a bit difficult during blizzards, so mages shouldn't go out."
"So, this blizzard is an exception?" Linda asked curiously.
"Yes, it usually only happens once a month. Normally, it's heavy snow, and it stops promptly at six o'clock every morning."
As Lia explained things to Linda, she led them upstairs, her steps becoming much lighter.
Upon closer inspection, Lia discovered that the Phoenix Tail Flower group was no less capable than the core members of the White Dove Alliance.
She could roughly sense the levels of Monica and Tasia, but she couldn't see them at all when it came to Anna and Linda.
"Everyone's upstairs, they'll be happy to see you all," Leah said with a smile.
Linda, standing behind, felt a surge of pride as she watched the girl stride confidently with her head held high.
It seems that only by leaving me can Leah truly grow.
Because of her position as leader, Lia possessed a subtle air of authority that made Linda dare not underestimate her.
Glancing at the rat following closely behind, Linda lowered her voice and asked, "Who is that rat?"
“I assigned all the odd jobs to him as a member of the council.”
Halfway through her sentence, Leah suddenly realized something and turned to look at Linda.
"Hey~ You're not afraid that someone will snatch me away, are you? After all, there are so many geniuses in Ice Abyss, and there are even Saint-level graduates among them."
Linda snorted, grabbed Leah's hand, and said coldly, "Then they can give it a try."
As Lia was walking upstairs, she was pulled into Linda's arms and almost fell. She glared at Linda angrily.
