Suddenly, a man with short brown hair and freckles on his face jumped up in ecstasy.
Everyone opened their eyes in surprise.
In the palm of the freckled man's hand was a floating white rhombus-shaped fragment.

"I envy you. Just condensing the first fragment means you've secured your position at the Light Rank. But it takes a full ten fragments to have any hope of advancing to the Saint Rank. How long would that take?"
A bird-man with white feathers sighed, "I've been in the Ice Abyss for a year, and I haven't condensed a single fragment of law. It seems I have no hope."
"Keep it up, bro! I only recently comprehended my first fragment of a law. Once you take the first step, the rest will be quick."
A man dressed in a scholar's robe with short blond hair laughed heartily, "As long as we work even harder, breaking through to the Saint rank is not without hope!"
The man's name is Wen Qi, and he is from Xuanfeng City.
A year and a half ago, he helped the Phoenix Flower rescue Monica and made a promise with Linda to meet again in Azure City.
However, so much time has passed that Wenqi has long forgotten about what happened back then.

A short while later, a woman with short purple hair, a wasp waist, and a curvy bottom, wearing a leather jacket, came to the square.
She took a document from the mouse, glanced at it, and nodded slightly.
"That's... Lady McCarty, who was promoted to Commander-in-Chief last month! She's here, probably as a notary, right?"
A blonde elf with braided hair and pointed ears said, "I understand. It must be a bet between the Dark Rose and the White Dove, with Lady Macartney overseeing its execution!"
Wenqi blinked: "What's going on? It seems like everyone knows about this?"
