Chapter 96 Dream Instructions, Linda, the Main Character, Appears

If you approach rashly, you'll be torn to shreds!

This man was none other than Linda, the terrifying captain of the original adventure team that Lulu remembered!

"Hmm, what's going on? I was clearly in my bed in my rented room, so why did I wake up here and run into the captain?"

Lulu's mind was in complete chaos.

She looked around in disbelief; even the sky had changed, turning from night into day.

The location is the summit of a mountain, which has been flattened to form a smooth, mirror-like platform, circular in shape and about 100 meters in diameter.

Ten steps ahead of her was the man known as the Shadow of Darkness.

"Why did you bring me here? You really are... Lin..."

Lulu wanted to defy the custom and call the other person by their name, but her fear of that person was already ingrained in her very being.

The dark figure glanced at her indifferently, and she felt a chill run down her spine, her limbs trembling. She swallowed the words "Linda" and bitterly replaced them with a respectful address:

"Are you really... Captain?"

The dark shadow pondered for a moment before answering, "Yes and no."

"You can think of me as the shadow in your subconscious. My appearance is in accordance with your desire to become stronger, and I will guide you to become stronger in your dreams."

Lulu said in shock, "So, you didn't bring me here. Everything here is a dream, a figment of my subconscious?"

"That's one way to understand it."

The shadowy figure said, "Let's begin. First training exercise: 1000 push-ups!"

"Push-ups? Can this kind of training really make you stronger... Ugh!"

Before Lulu could finish her rebuttal, she felt a tremendous force pressing down on her. She was controlled by an invisible hand and forced to lie down in the preparatory position for a push-up.

"In my dream, I am omnipotent. I advise you to put away your rebellious thoughts and obediently obey my orders."

The shadowy figure conjured a comfortable red sofa out of thin air, sat down in front of Lulu with his legs crossed, and held a steaming cup of coffee in his hand: "Begin."

Despite her reluctance, Lulu felt she couldn't stand up without obeying the other party's orders.

When she did push-ups, she was surprised to find that her body felt like it was carrying a thousand pounds of weight, and her arms ached terribly every time she bent them.

If it were regular push-ups, with her physique, 1000 would be more than enough.

But what about carrying a heavy load?

Lulu's expression changed.

Time passed slowly, and on the mountaintop of the dream, only the girl's labored breathing and the sound of the dark shadow finishing his coffee and eating sunflower seeds could be heard.

Sweat had already soaked the ground beneath Lulu, revealing the shape of a young girl.

Under the immense weight, Lulu showed signs of exhaustion.

As she reached her 500th push-up, she couldn't help but pant like a canine, her tongue lolling out.

At this moment, Lulu still had the energy to manage her facial expressions. She stuck out her tongue, but not much, and deliberately suppressed her breathing so as not to be looked down upon by the leisurely man on the sofa.

But by the 900th one, she was exhausted and out of breath, no longer caring about saving face.

Lulu was panting heavily, her body trembling like a sieve, her tongue sticking out, and her eyes rolling back slightly.

She hadn’t experienced this kind of high-intensity exercise in three years, and she was so exhausted that she almost fainted!

"No...no, let me stop." Lulu's voice trembled.

"Continue," the shadowy figure replied briefly.

On her 950th push-up, Lulu was so tired that she even used her wolf tail, sticking it out from behind her to support herself on the ground for leverage.

"It's no use..."

"continue."

The 970th.

"Really, it's no use..."

"continue."

No matter how she pleaded, she was always met with a cold, mechanical response.

The dark figure in this dream was exactly the same as the captain she remembered!

Ruthless and merciless, any team member who cannot do this will be eliminated.

'Never be underestimated!'

With a complex mix of unwillingness to admit defeat and resentment, Lulu finally finished 1,000 push-ups.

The moment she finished, the girl collapsed to the ground.

Every last bit of strength in my body has been drained!

"Good job." The dark figure stood up and, as if rewarding a puppy, patted Lulu's fluffy ears.

"What are you doing!" Lulu's eyes widened, and she stretched out her beast claws as if facing a formidable enemy.

"Just a reminder, the next training session is about to begin."

The shadowy figure smiled and beckoned with his finger: "Come, defeat me."

A question mark appeared above Lulu's head.

If they could defeat their opponents, the members of the original adventure team would have been killed long ago.

Because the Shadow of Darkness is an invincible being, no one dares to defy his arbitrary tyranny.

After Linda becomes weaker, she can defeat her easily.

But the shadow of darkness at the peak?

Lulu reluctantly retracted her claws, lowered her head, and said, "How could I possibly beat you? Forget it, I'll just go back. How can I wake up from this dream?"

She pinched the soft flesh on the inside of her thigh hard, but it did nothing except make her wince in pain.

The shadowy figure shrugged: "You'll have to stay here until I say yes."

Half an hour later.

Bang!

A pale blue figure was sent flying like a tattered sack.

Lulu was punched in the stomach. It didn't seem like the punch was very hard, but when she touched it, she found a huge black hole in her stomach!
