Chapter 14 Lu Zhengjun brutally beats up Liu Dekai

Even Liu Dekai himself didn't see how he was thrown to the ground.

What followed was, in essence, a one-sided beating by Lu Zhengjun.

Every punch landed squarely; the sound alone was enough to make your teeth ache.

Some soldiers outside couldn't bear it and shouted inside, "Deputy Battalion Commander Liu, you can admit defeat in the fighting arena, so admit defeat quickly!"

Admit defeat?

If it were anyone else, or someone he knew well, Liu Dekai would have already begged for mercy and admitted defeat.

But today, Liu Dekai gritted his teeth and refused to admit defeat.

Although he was beaten up, Liu Dekai realized something was wrong.

He was indeed no match for Lu Zhengjun, but he had never met Lu Zhengjun before, nor had he ever offended him. It seemed that Lu Zhengjun was deliberately messing with him and bringing him to the fighting arena.

why is that?

He couldn't recall ever offending this person!

Liu Dekai covered his head with his arm, feeling a little dizzy.

The two clashed again, and Liu Dekai's arm was trembling. He gritted his teeth and said, "Commander Lu, don't go too far! There are so many people watching outside. If they find out that a dignified elite soldier is bullying a deputy battalion commander like me, what will they think of you?"

Liu Dekai didn't want to admit defeat so easily, but he also didn't want to lose too badly, so he could only question in a low voice.

Lu Zhengjun punched the man to the ground, then squatted down, grabbed his collar, and said in a voice that the surrounding soldiers couldn't hear, "Liu Dekai, I'm asking you, were you already married a long time ago?"

For a moment, Liu Dekai forgot to resist and stared at Lu Zhengjun in shock.

How could he have known!

It's over, it's over.

Liu Dekai's facial expressions were fascinating, conveying shock, horror, and fear.

Although he didn't say anything, his expression had already given Lu Zhengjun the answer.

It really is true.

Lu Zhengjun's fingers cracked as he clenched them, and then, showing no mercy, he beat her even harder.

Lu Zhengjun, who had used almost all her strength, defeated Liu Dekai with no effort whatsoever, sending him fleeing in terror.

Because of that last sentence, Liu Dekai was completely rendered powerless and had no chance to fight back.

It's an utter disgrace that a man like this could become a deputy battalion commander. To work with someone like him, or even potentially go on missions together in the future, is simply a disgrace!

"Commander Lu's skills are getting better and better, but why do I feel like it's Deputy Battalion Commander Liu who's being beaten up one-sidedly?"

"Indeed, Deputy Battalion Commander Liu is running out of steam and is basically taking a beating now."

"Being able to get beaten up under Commander Lu's command is a rare opportunity."

"To have endured under Commander Lu for so long without begging for mercy, Deputy Battalion Commander Liu is truly a man of courage."

"Deputy Battalion Commander Liu! Keep it up! Hold on a little longer! Break the record!"

Occasionally, a few scattered questions would arise, wondering if Lu Zhengjun had hit people too hard, but the person asking the question was quickly drowned in spittle.

Who is Lu Zhengjun? He is the youngest regimental commander in history and a well-deserved king of soldiers. There are countless people who are eager to spar with him, even if they know they will get beaten up.

But Lu Zhengjun is so busy, she can't stay in the army all the time.

Liu Dekai, who had just been promoted to deputy battalion commander, seemed like a newcomer compared to Lu Zhengjun. This exchange seemed more like a mentorship for a junior.

"Deputy Battalion Commander Liu, if you can't handle it, just admit defeat."

"That's right, losing to Commander Lu isn't shameful!"

A burst of laughter erupted, but what was clearly good-natured laughter sounded like blatant mockery to Liu Dekai's ears.

He may not be able to beat them, but he will never admit defeat!

Liu Dekai was clearly angry; even though he was too weak to fight back, he still stared intently at him.

As the next fist was about to land on his face, some of the soldiers watching looked grave.

Amidst the gasps of the crowd, the fist came to a steady stop in front of Liu Dekai's face.

The scene was quiet for a few seconds.

Lu Zhengjun straightened up, flexed her wrists, and saw that Liu Dekai seemed to be stunned. She gave him an ambiguous smile, turned around, and left the fighting arena.
