Chapter 9: Finding a Soldier Brother to Report Human Traffickers

She carefully recalled that during the two days she sat on the train, apart from the lively child of Sister Wang next to her, she did not hear any other children making noise.

The couple's child, who was only two or three years old, never woke up, let alone cried.

Combined with the couple's cautious reaction, Su Yueya couldn't help but wonder if the child the couple was holding was their own.

This is about the integrity of a family.

The more she thought about it, the more restless she became, with only the sound of her own heartbeat filling her ears.

There are quite a few human traffickers these days.

But she alone could not subdue the human traffickers.

Suddenly, two handsome soldiers flashed through Su Yueya's mind; they were the same young and handsome soldiers who were two carriages apart.

Having made up her mind, Su Yueya pretended to be nonchalant and got up to go find them.

"My lord, our mission is complete. Are you planning to rest for a few days?"

Zhao Yunshan was 1.78 meters tall, wearing a dark green military uniform. He had regular features, round eyes, and wheat-colored skin, and looked somewhat refined. If it weren't for his military uniform, he might be mistaken for a teacher.

"I haven't had a break in half a year. After this mission, I've saved up more than 20 days of vacation. I don't know when Lao Zhao will approve my leave."

"Sigh, Zhengjun, we'll arrive in the capital tomorrow. Shall we head back to the army first?"

Zhao Yunshan kept talking, cracking sunflower seeds in his hand. No one would have guessed that such a carefree and talkative person was actually the battalion commander of the military region.

Lu Zhengjun kept his eyes closed to rest, his friend's voice echoing in his ears, calling him almost every minute.

If the two hadn't been brothers for many years, and if he hadn't known Zhao Yunshan's temperament, he would have been so annoyed that he would have stuffed cotton in his ears long ago.

"My Lord, why are you ignoring me?"

Zhao Yunshan patted the sunflower seed shells off his hands, then opened the water bottle and gulped down half of the water.

Lu Zhengjun opened her eyes and said helplessly, "If you don't have enough water, go get some more. Eating won't shut you up."

"Oh well, it's just that we're paired up this time. Besides, once we complete our mission, we can return to our unit early. There's no one else we know on this train except you."

Zhao Yunshan smiled and, seeing Lu Zhengjun looking out the window, picked up another handful of melon seeds to crack open.

Su Yueya entered the carriage and immediately spotted the two men in military uniforms.

The soldier sitting outside had a smiling, baby-faced appearance and seemed easy to talk to, with a gentle demeanor.

The soldier sitting inside was taller and more handsome, with a cold look in his eyes and an aura of righteousness, but he seemed a bit unapproachable.

There was no one opposite them, only a few clothes, indicating that they had temporarily left.

Su Yueya walked over and subconsciously said to Zhao Yunshan, who was sitting outside, "Hello, my name is Su Yueya. It seems there are human traffickers in the carriage I'm in."

Because she wasn't entirely sure, Su Yueya spoke very softly. The next moment, Lu Zhengjun and Zhao Yunshan both looked at Su Yueya.

Are you telling the truth?

"It's true. I found a couple who were really strange. The baby they were holding slept on the train for two days and two nights without waking up."

Where are you located?

"It's in carriage sixteen. Shall I take you there?"

This was carriage number nineteen. Su Yueya got up and led the way, with Lu Zhengjun and Zhao Yunshan following behind.

After passing through two carriages, Su Yueya entered carriage number sixteen and saw the woman holding the child in the distance.

She stopped and whispered, "In seat 146, the woman in blue is holding a child wrapped in a black coat. There's also a man in black next to her; he's probably an accomplice."

Lu Zhengjun walked beside Su Yueya, and after listening, he immediately spotted the woman. He then lowered his head and said, "Don't go over there. Wait here. Let's go take a look first."

Su Yueya nodded and stepped aside to let them pass.

I'm just a defenseless woman; I wouldn't be of any help if I went. I might as well find a safe place to stay.

Su Yueya was self-aware, so she simply stood in the aisle and looked over there.

Wang Daxia noticed Lu Zhengjun and Zhao Yunshan after they entered carriage number sixteen.

Because of her profession, she was very sensitive to the clothing of police officers and soldiers. Seeing that they seemed to be walking towards her, Wang Daxia stood up with her child in her arms and hurriedly walked towards carriage number 15.

She was afraid. Although she didn't know why the two soldiers were there, she tried to hide if she could.

Wang Daxia wanted to run away, but dared not show it too much.

She knew these people had a sharp eye; they could easily tell if someone was up to something.

Wang Daxia walked fast, but this was on a train, and there were always people in the aisle. In addition, Lu Zhengjun and Zhao Yunshan were tall and had long legs, so they would catch up with her soon.

"Comrade, please stop."

Lu Zhengjun's stern voice came from behind, like a death knell. Wang Daxia felt as if she had heard a bugle call and started running as fast as she could.

However, he hadn't run more than a few steps before Zhao Yunshan pinned him down.

The child in her arms was immediately taken out by Lu Zhengjun.

There was a brief commotion in the carriage. Many people saw the soldiers arresting people and assumed they were carrying out a mission. No one dared to watch; they just sat in their seats, craning their necks to see.

Su Yueya watched from afar, not daring to move at all. Seeing the woman being held down, she felt a little more at ease.
