Chapter 955

Tao Hejun's loud crying would surely attract the adults' attention; it wouldn't be enough if no one saw him make a move.

His plans go far beyond that.

So, while Tao Hejun was wailing, Liu Shengrui lay down on the ground and, imitating Tao Hejun, started crying and shouting that it hurt so much.

"Waaaaah... Why did you push me? Why?!"

"You've gone too far!"

The other children around were still confused.

Why did Taozi suddenly fall down?

"Yeah, we just divided them into groups, how come he just fell like that?"

"Someone must have pushed him, otherwise how could he have fallen flat on his face?"

"It's possible to fall on flat ground; I've fallen on flat ground before!"

"Me too!"

"But Xiao Rui also fell down. Did he also fall on flat ground?"

"No, one of them must have pushed the other, but... then why did they both fall down?"

"Oh dear, this is so troublesome. Who pushed whom?"

Unfortunately, no one witnessed what happened, and now everyone is making wild guesses.

"Liu Shengrui, you pushed me! You bad guy!"

"I didn't," Liu Shengrui cried pitifully, wiping away his tears, "Taozi, you were the one who pushed me, why are you sitting on the ground pretending to cry and blaming me? Waaaaah..."

"Oh! So Taozi pushed Xiaorui and then sat on the ground acting like a spoiled child!" Some children thought they had caught the truth.

Tao Hejun was furious.

As the wrongly accused, hearing the real murderer pin the blame on you, the victim, must be incredibly frustrating.

"Liu Shengrui, you're talking nonsense! It's obvious you did all this, what are you pretending for?" Tao Hejun shouted.

"Taozi, please stop scolding me..." Liu Shengrui planned to take the route of "fragrant tea" today.

Sure enough, after arguing for only a few words, the adults were drawn over by the crying.

"What's wrong? What happened?!"

Once they were sure it wasn't their own child who was hurt, the adults all stepped back, cleared the way, and protected their own children as they watched the show. After all, the two main characters lying on the ground were Liu Shengrui and Tao Hejun.

"Oh dear, you wicked little devil, why are you bullying my grandson!" Zhang Cuihua immediately picked up Liu Shengrui, patting the mud off his pants as she asked, "Xiao Rui, did he bully you?"

Liu Shengrui nodded, looking aggrieved, and whispered, "Grandma, he pushed me, and he even accused me, saying I pushed him, but I didn't, waah..."

With the explanation of her eldest grandson, Zhang Cuihua had no doubts whatsoever.

Her son, Xiao Rui, is very well-behaved now, how could he possibly lie? So it must have been Tao Hejun who caused this trouble.

After all, Tao Hejun was no pushover.

"Who are you cursing, you old bastard? How dare you curse a child like that? What did my Taozi do to you? You just start cursing without even knowing what happened. You really are a country bumpkin, with no manners and no upbringing!" Tao Hejun's grandmother, He Jiqin, was no pushover either.

"Taozi, get up first and tell Grandma what happened. Don't be afraid, Grandma will back you up. Nobody can bully our Taozi!" He Jiqin said, glancing blatantly at Zhang Cuihua as she spoke. Her meaning was obvious.

"Grandma, Liu Shengrui pushed me first—" Tao Hejun pointed at Liu Shengrui, her eyes filled with anger.

"No, I'm so angry I'm confused. It was Liu Shengrui who pushed me. I didn't push him at all. He just fell to the ground and cried, pretending that I pushed him! I'm so angry!" Tao Hejun was indeed very angry.

He's a notorious troublemaker; doesn't he know his own character?

He was always the one bullying others, and the other kids had to listen to him and play games according to his wishes. He never expected to be tricked by Liu Shengrui today!

He's so angry!

"Grandma, you have to avenge me!" Tao Hejun shouted.

"Don't worry, Taozi, Grandma won't let this bad thing get away with it!" He Jiqin said, of course believing her eldest grandson's words.

Just as Zhang Cuihua believed in Liu Shengrui.

The two old folks, neither of them could think straight, just started arguing and started fighting in front of everyone.

"Zhang Cuihua, stop trying to act tough with me. Don't you know what kind of trash your grandson is? Chaoxiong, do you even know what Chaoxiong is? If you ask me, you shouldn't have let him go out and cause trouble for others!"

He Jiqin prided herself on being a city dweller, believing she was far more cultured than Zhang Cuihua, a country bumpkin.

When He Jiqin first heard about the theory of male chauvinism, she made a special effort to learn about it. After all, she was a cultured old lady, and once she learned about it, she understood the harm of male chauvinism.

Now, of course, we have to bring up Chao-hsiung. When arguing, you have to hit the other person's sore spot to make it an effective argument.

"Pah! I bet you're in cahoots with that bitch Su Yueya. Everyone knows she's been spreading rumors about our Xiao Rui. Don't think you can sway people like that! It was your Taozi who started it!" Zhang Cuihua pointed at He Jiqin, protecting her child.

"How ridiculous! Dr. Su doesn't spread rumors about others, but she spreads rumors about your grandson? Even flies don't land on eggs without cracks, and your grandson is an egg, a rotten one at that!" He Jiqin's insults were far more varied than Zhang Cuihua's.

Zhang Cuihua was furious. She only used a few curse words over and over again, such as "slut," "stinking woman," and "bastard," which were not very offensive and sounded extremely vulgar. They were nothing like the sophisticated and powerful curses used by He Jiqin.

"He Jiqin, you old hag, I'm going to tear your mouth apart!" Zhang Cuihua was so angry that she couldn't win the argument and wanted to take action.

He Jiqin would never lay a hand on her. She considers herself a cultured old lady; how could she possibly lay a hand on her?

"Hey everyone, look! This old shrew is about to start a fight!" He Jiqin shouted at the top of her lungs. "Like father, like son! This old shrew teaches by example. She loves to hit people, so it's no wonder her grandson likes to push people! Their family is just rotten to the core!"

Zhang Cuihua was even angrier.

She's an old woman who's unbeatable in arguments throughout the entire compound; when has she ever lost a fight?

I ran into He Jiqin today and was completely outmaneuvered. I didn't get a single advantage from her words, and instead, I was thoroughly annoyed by her.

"You're talking nonsense! He Jiqin, you're the old shrew! What are you pretending to be, some kind of cultured person? You're the most uncultured one! Don't you know what kind of trash your grandson is? Does he think he can fool people just because he's a dung beetle wrapped in candy wrapper?!" Zhang Cuihua shrieked. If she hadn't been stopped, she would have already mashed He Jiqin's face to pieces. Why should she have to put up with this humiliation?
