Bonus Chapter Six: Honeymoon Trip to the Pool

Bonus Chapter Six: Honeymoon Trip to the Pool

The wedding was held at the beginning of the year, and the two of them took a short holiday to celebrate.

Because Pei Qi didn't want a traditional wedding ceremony, and since she had already invited friends and family when she proposed, she wanted the wedding to be based primarily on the feelings of the two of them.

So the wedding was held in a very beautiful small town abroad, and we didn't invite too many people.

The two spent several days in that small town, which Pei Xi actually considered their honeymoon.

But Guan Yue disagreed, saying that marriage is marriage and honeymoon is honeymoon.

However, because both of them have rather special professions and are usually very busy, their honeymoon was repeatedly postponed.

It's not that he can't take leave, it's that Guan Yue can't take leave.

Finally, in their second year of marriage, they managed to find the right time to go on their honeymoon.

The honeymoon destination was a capybara island city that the capybara had always wanted to visit.

He often sees pictures of island scenery online, with promotional slogans claiming to show the bluest seas in the world.

"Do you think this might be due to a filter?" Pei Xi lay on the small sofa in the bedroom, holding her phone in her hand and crossing her legs.

As for Guan Yue, he was currently bent over on the ground organizing the two's luggage: "We'll know when we arrive tomorrow."

"Hmm, what if it doesn't look good?" The capybara wiggled its toes.

Guan Yue stood up again and headed towards the dressing room: "If it doesn't look good, fly it somewhere else."

"Hmm... if it really doesn't look good, we'll just transfer to the Maldives." The capybara stroked its chin, deep in thought.

"Okay, baby can go wherever he wants." Guan Yue took out a few clothes that capybaras often wore from the closet, and also packed out a set of small props that they used to play with.

Pei Qi's eyes were getting tired from looking at her phone, so she looked away and saw Guan Yue stuffing all the small props into her luggage.

"What...what are you going to do with these?" The capybara's ears turned red instantly.

"Yes, Qiqi," the man answered frankly, without batting an eye.

Pei Xi pursed her lips, momentarily speechless: "...We...we'll stay...stay outside, and we're going on a trip."

It's a trip, not... you know.

"Don't worry, I booked hotels with very high privacy." The man continued tidying up, "Will you wear a skirt or not? A skirt or that school uniform?"

"..." The capybara rolled over, lay face down on the sofa, and buried its face in the pillow.

The man continued talking to himself: "Bring both of them."

Pei Xi buried her face in the pillow for about half a minute, until her face turned even redder and she could hardly breathe.

Then... he felt he had to make an agreement with Guan Yue now, otherwise... he was afraid that even if he went on a trip, he would just stay in bed the whole time.

"I need to discuss this with you." He rolled over again, sat up from the sofa, cleared his throat, and looked so serious that he almost took out the glasses he only wore when he was working.

In the past two years, he has also developed some minor eye problems and has had to wear glasses when repairing ancient books.

"Baby, you say it." The man stuffed a crystal waist chain into the suitcase. The pendant was crystal clear and cool to the touch. When the crystals collided, they made a crisp and ambiguous sound.

He loved seeing Pei Qi wearing this chain.

However, because of the cold weather, the capybaras were unwilling to use it, so it hasn't been taken out for a long time.

Pei Xi also saw the crystal waist chain, and a slight chill rose in her heart.

He didn't seem to wear the chain very often, because he was coaxed into wearing it on one of the few occasions.

Guan Yue will... be terrifying.

It will be lost.

meeting………

In the few times he had those experiences, he almost thought he was going to die.

"We're going on our honeymoon, we're going to have fun, we can't... we can't stay in the hotel all the time." He swallowed hard, speaking with righteous indignation, but as he spoke, his voice unconsciously softened.

“Of course, baby,” Guan Yue replied quickly, indicating his agreement.

“Then you…brought so much stuff…we need to agree that we can only play with it once or twice at most.” Pei Xi felt that she had already been very kind.

“But we’ll be gone for more than half a month, Qiqi, are you only going to give us one or two trips in more than half a month?” The man looked up, his tone earnest. “Please add a little more.”

"Then... three or four times, I guess," Pei Qi murmured, speaking slowly.

Guan Yue tentatively suggested, "How about adding a little more?"

The capybara pouted: "Don't push your luck."

Guan Yue stopped what he was doing and waited patiently for an answer: "Then show me the chain."

Pei Xi: "..."

He didn't actually want to agree.

So I didn't say anything.

Then the man walked over from in front of the suitcase, bent down, grabbed his shoulders, and started kissing him.

He kissed her until his whole face was wet, and he wouldn't let go.

After much pleading and cajoling, he had no choice but to agree.

The flight, which was scheduled for 10:00 AM the following day, landed precisely at 3:00 PM.

The capybara slept for a long time on the plane and didn't even eat lunch.

Guan Yue was initially worried that the capybaras might be drowsy and lack energy after getting off the plane, and that the humidity on the island might cause them to have trouble adjusting to the new environment.

But soon.

He then realized that he had been overthinking things.

As soon as we left the airport, Capybara seemed to have a fully charged battery, excitedly running ahead of him: "Shall we take a taxi? Hmm, the official language here is English, right?"

"I've arranged everything, come over here." Guan Yue pushed two suitcases, unable to catch the capybara that was running around everywhere.

Pei Xi then turned around and realized that the man behind her was carrying a heavy load.

He stopped and stepped back: "Let me take one."

Guan Yue didn't seem to intend to hand him one, and continued pushing the cart by himself: "You follow me."

Pei Qi stopped completely: "Then you hold my hand."

"I don't have hands, otherwise why wouldn't I hold your hand?" Guan Yue stopped and explained.

"Then give me one of your suitcases, so you can hold my hand." Pei Qi said, already placing her hand on one of the gray suitcases.

The man then let go and pushed him over.

The capybara took the box with one hand and handed it to the man with the other.

Guan Yue skillfully took the capybara's white hand.

The capybara's hand bones are smaller than his, making them easier to wrap around.

The two people's palms can be pressed tightly together without leaving a single gap.

Pei Xi tilted her head back, feeling the sea breeze on her face; it was hot and seemed to have a slightly salty taste.

"Shall we put our luggage at the hotel first, and then go out for dinner?" Guan Yue glanced at the capybara beside him.

“Okay.” Pei Qi nodded. “I want to eat lobster and sashimi.”

The man gripped his hand even tighter: "Okay."

Guan Yue basically did the planning for the hotel and the trip. The capybara was also very easy to talk to, only making two requests: first, to play in the water; second, to have good food.

The hotel boasts a superb ocean view room with a large, transparent glass window overlooking a private swimming pool in the courtyard, and beyond that, a vast expanse of azure sea.

There's also a big coconut tree planted in the yard, and you can feel the coconut scent when the wind blows through it.

The interior is also very spacious, more than enough for two people.

Upon entering the bedroom, Pei Qi first admired the scenery by the window for a while, then collapsed onto the large bed and let out a comfortable sigh.

"Go eat. You didn't eat anything on the plane." Guan Yue tidied up the things and walked to the bedside.

Pei Xi touched her empty stomach, then raised both hands: "Hold me."

The man didn't speak, but bent down and picked up the capybara from the bed: "Tired? Why don't you ask the hotel to send you some food? The seafood here is pretty good."

Pei Qi leaned on the man's shoulder and rubbed her eyes: "Hmm, I want to go to the night market here. I just saw that they have banana roti here, it looks delicious."

"Weren't we supposed to be eating sashimi? Now you're eating roti again?" The man touched a few stray hairs floating on the capybara's head.

"The roti smells so good, it's crispy from being grilled on that hot plate." Just describing it made Pei Qi's mouth water.

Guan Yue laughed: "Okay, let's go eat."

The night market was a bit far from the hotel, and it was already completely dark when we arrived.

The island is mostly inhabited by indigenous people, especially the vendors at the night market, so many of them don't speak much English and communicate entirely through sign language and eye contact.

Pei Qi successfully bought the banana roti she wanted.

Perhaps the bananas on the island were exceptionally sweet; in any case, this roti almost made his teeth ache from the sweetness.

Guan Yue disliked sweets even less than him, so the two quickly went to buy other snacks.

The capybaras stared intently at a stall, their eyes shining: "Let's try that cold dish, it looks very appetizing."

The man followed his gaze and, seeing that the vendor was wearing gloves, nodded, "Alright."

Then the two of them bought a lot of snacks that had been inspected by Dr. Guan.

Pei Qi wanted to eat everything he saw, but he didn't eat much. He wasn't really used to Southeast Asian seasonings.

After visiting the night market, the capybara wanted to go to the beach to enjoy the breeze. The wind was strong and the temperature was much lower than during the day, so Guan Yue wouldn't let him go into the water.

He could only wade in the fine sand and cool seawater on the beach, and then, not entirely satisfied, suggested another option: "Could I go to the hotel pool? I haven't been in the water in ages."

"Let's play during the day." The man led the capybara back to the hotel.

The capybara clung to his arm and pleaded, "Just half an hour."

"The pool can be heated. I'll heat it up for you before you go in," Guan Yue conceded.

"good!"

Pei Qi readily agreed and excitedly headed to the hotel.

He obediently waited until Guan Yue said he could go into the water before diving into the pool.

The heated pool had just the right temperature. The capybaras swam back and forth several times before running in the middle of the pool.

Guan Yue, who was on the shore, was wearing a bathrobe but showed no intention of getting off.

"Why don't you come down?" he asked.

The man dodged, saying, "Go ahead and play."

"Come down too." Then, he noticed that Dr. Guan's expression was a little strange, and with a smirk, he said mischievously, "You can't swim, can you?"

Guan Yue: "I will."

Pei Xi: "Then come down."

As he spoke, he swam toward the shore and grabbed the man's ankle.

Strangely enough, the man fell down with just a gentle tug.

A large splash of water rose up, and without caring about the water splashing all over her face, Pei Qi thought of grabbing the man.

Then, he was suddenly hugged from behind, his waist was tightly wrapped, and the man pressed against his back and kissed the capybara's protruding spine.

"You...you can actually swim!"

"I'll suddenly." The man leaned close to his ear, licked it with the tip of his tongue, and his hand slid restlessly down into the water.

Pei Xi: "!!"
