Side Story 3: The Jealous Little Capybara's Jealousy Diary

Side Story 3: The Jealous Little Capybara's Jealousy Diary

During a certain rainy season.

Pei Qi was assigned an ancient book from the Ming Dynasty, a relic that had been unearthed not long ago. Over time, the fibers of the ancient paper had almost completely broken.

The repair is quite difficult.

So during this period, he basically spent all his time at work.

I also need to find time to attend classes at Hebei University.

Sometimes he doesn't even come home for dinner, and when he does come home, he spends most of his time preparing lessons in his study.

Guan Yue was as busy as ever, but he was a little more at home than the capybara during this period.

But it's no use him being home, since his wife is never home.

Pei Xi didn't even realize that the two of them hadn't spent much time together in a long time, because they were so busy every day that he would fall asleep as soon as his head hit the bed.

When Guan Yue was around, he would naturally run into the man's arms, then softly say "I'm so sleepy" and fall asleep.

When the man wasn't around, he would turn on the nightlight, keep his eyes open, send the man a "goodnight" message, and then go to sleep.

Most importantly, the man didn't complain, so he didn't realize that the two of them hadn't spent much time together in a long time.

He discovered this problem because it was Su, his senior, who brought it up.

"You two just got married, still newlyweds, and you're already neglecting Dr. Guan like this." Su Mo had noticed that his junior brother had recently entered a "crazy" state again, completely oblivious to what was going on around him.

Pei Qi turned his neck. At the beginning of the year, Guan Yue dragged him to have a full physical examination. The stomach that the two of them were most worried about was actually not a big problem.

The biggest problem is his cervical spine. Dr. Guan's orthopedic colleagues warned him that if he doesn't take care of it, his cervical spine will probably start compressing his trachea when he's in his 30s.

So now he does neck exercises every day and tries to maintain proper posture while sitting.

"Hmm..." Have I been neglected?

The capybara twisted and turned, and its mind began to work.

Neglected...

Did he neglect Guan Yue?

"Doesn't your wife ever argue with you?" Old He, who has been married for many years, still has a close relationship with his wife. "If I'm always away from home like this, my wife will come with the kids to catch me downstairs at my workplace."

Su Mo: "Wait a minute, I remember your partner was also quite intimidating. What's going on? Why is he so distant now?"

“He…didn’t say anything, but he’s been quite busy lately, working overtime and stuff.” Pei Qi pursed her lips after finishing a set of exercises.

Su Mo said mysteriously, "Be careful your backyard doesn't catch fire, junior brother."

Old He: "No way, Dr. Guan doesn't seem like that kind of person."

Su Mo: "We still need to be careful..."

The two were still talking, but the capybara's mind was in a mess, and it wasn't listening to anything.

He didn't suspect that Dr. Guan was having an affair; he just felt that something seemed off.

Guan Yue used to be quite clingy to him.

It seems like things have been a bit lukewarm lately.

Are you angry?

He decided to take it easy today, to leave work early, and go find Guan Yue.

Around 5 p.m., he sent a text message to the man.

Seven: [I'm leaving work early today.]

Seven; [And you?]

Seven: [Kapibala secretly observing.jpg.]

Seven: [Kapibala spinning in circles.jpg.]

There was still no reply after a while.

Hmm.

He decided to go directly to the hospital to give Guan Yue a surprise.

He usually gets picked up from get off work by men; he has almost never picked up a man from get off work.

But when he went up to the nineteenth floor and passed the nurses' station, the nurses there recognized him.

She greeted him with a smile, "You've come to see Dr. Guan."

Pei Qi nodded politely and smiled, "Yes, is he in his office?"

Nurse: "It seems he's still in the operating room, you'll have to wait a little while."

Pei Qi: "Okay, thank you."

He nodded and smiled as he headed towards the duty room.

As he walked through the corridor, he happened to see Guan Yue coming out of the elevator.

"Teacher, is my sewing okay?"

Guan Yue was accompanied by a young boy, also wearing a white coat. The boy had delicate features and a mask half-covered his chin. He also had nice lips.

"Not bad, but your technique for threading the needle isn't quite there yet. Go back and practice with an orange peel." Guan Yue said, head down, his hand rummaging in his pocket.

"Are you looking for cigarettes, teacher? I have some." The young doctor took out a pack of cigarettes from his white coat and was about to hand it to him.

The two were standing very close together.

Guan Yue waved his hand, about to speak.

"husband."

Guan Yue suddenly raised his head.

He saw Pei Qi walking towards him with a smile a few meters away.

Today, the capybara was wearing a plaid shirt jacket and a silver chain he had given her around her neck, giving her a very fresh and clean look.

Like a lime soda on a summer's day.

Hmm, a lime-flavored capybara is running towards him.

She even sweetly called him "husband".

"Why are you here?" The man couldn't help but smile, and turned around to walk towards the capybara.

“I texted you, saying I’d leave work early today and come pick you up.” Pei Qi naturally took the man’s arm.

"I haven't checked my phone yet. I was just about to look for it. I had three surgeries this afternoon and have been busy until now." The man looked down at him, his gaze never leaving the capybara.

But the capybara's gaze fell directly on the doctor opposite it.

The young doctor next to him awkwardly took back the cigarette from his hand.

"This is our new resident trainee, Xiao Xin," Guan Yue introduced.

Xiao Xin smiled sheepishly and extended his hand: "Hello, sister-in-law."

Pei Qi politely extended her hand in return, saying, "Hello, Dr. Xiao Xin."

A second later, Xiaoxin let go of him: "Then I'll go home first."

Guan Yue's gaze shifted and settled on the capybara again, and he nodded somewhat insincerely: "Okay, see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow, teacher." Shin-chan said, then turned and left.

As soon as the outsiders left, Guan Yue took the capybara's hand and said, "Wait for me, I'm going to change my clothes."

The capybara lowered its head and stared at his hand.

The man raised an eyebrow slightly: "What are you looking at, Qiqi?"

"Hmm, it's alright, go change, I'll wait for you here." The capybara struggled slightly, slipping out of the man's palm, and his brow furrowed.

Guan Yue: "Okay."

After taking off her white coat, Guan Yue was wearing a thin, dark-colored long-sleeved outfit, which was a relatively fitted style and showed off her figure.

It's quite eye-catching.

But he's a little angry right now, so he's deliberately avoiding looking at men and not walking close to them.

But that didn't stop the man from coming closer.

Guan Yue: "Weren't you here to pick me up?"

"Yes, I didn't come to pick you up." The capybara replied casually, its hands behind its back, as if deliberately avoiding being held.

"What's wrong, Qiqi?" The two had already walked out of the hospital. The man had nothing to hold back anymore and directly put his arm around the capybara's soft waist.

After a year of hard work, the capybara finally gained some muscle around its waist and no longer felt so bony.

"On the street." The capybara tried to sneak out again.

The man brazenly asked, "What's wrong? Can't a husband hug his wife?"

Pei Xi: " "

Although the capybara did not struggle to break free, it was not very cooperative either.

Then the two of them went home.

Even during the meal, the capybara remained sullen and barely acknowledged Guan Yue.

Guan Yue thought that after washing the dishes, he would definitely grab the capybara and have a good chat with it, so why was it angry again?

Over the past year, the capybara's temper has become increasingly worse.

I always get angry with him.

However, he likes it when capybaras are angry with him.

Not just anyone can make a capybara, which is usually very calm and collected, angry.

It's not that he has any particularly infuriating abilities.

Rather, it is proof that the capybara has let down its guard.

Proof that you are willing to let him have it completely.

But when he came out of the kitchen, he saw a little drunk pig.

Um.

Pei Qixi sat on the carpet, clutching a bottle of red wine, her ears drooping and her face flushed.

"Qiqi, why are you drinking?" He knew very well how much the capybara could drink.

Capybaras are well aware of this, so they rarely drink alcohol.

"If you want to drink, then drink. What... what's wrong? You won't even let me drink?" Pei Qi was already drunk, hugging the bottle, her sock-clad feet rubbing against the wool blanket.

“Where are you not allowed to drink?” The man stepped onto the carpet, leaning down against the capybara. “Want a drink? I’ll drink with you.”

He guessed that the capybara was probably under too much work pressure lately.

He knew that the capybara had been under a lot of work pressure lately, and that it had been bleeding from its nose for two nights in a row, which made him very distressed.

So he restrained himself and stopped making the capybara "exercise" at night, hoping that the capybara could sleep better.

Then every morning, I prepare lunch boxes for the capybara, brew some cooling herbal tea, pack them all together, and send the capybara to work.

Although I miss the capybara every day, I try my best to restrain myself so that the capybara can focus on doing what it loves without any worries.

Pei Xi, holding the wine bottle, turned away and said, "Who... wants to drink with you? I'm not drinking with you."

"Won't you drink with me? Why, baby?" The man's tone remained gentle, coaxing, "Are you angry with me? What are you angry about?"

"Hmph, don't you know what anger is?" Pei Qi lowered her head, her cheeks slightly puffed out.

"What's wrong, baby? Tell your husband, and I'll change." Guan Yue coaxed softly, tentatively placing his hand on the capybara's arm, trying to pull him into his embrace.

Pei Xi turned her face away, still stubborn.

"What's wrong, Qiqi?" But that didn't stop the man from coming closer and affectionately pressing his cheek against hers.

The capybara lowered its eyes, looking at the platinum ring that was now on the man's ring finger.

Those were their custom-made wedding rings.

Once he put it on, he never took it off.

He assumed Guan Yue was the same way.

result……

He had just seen the man's hands at the hospital; they were completely clean, with nothing on them.

Thinking of this, the capybara frowned again, and its facial features also furrowed.

I felt so wronged.

"Guan Yue, you said you would love me for a lifetime, you said you would like me every single day." He pouted, his eyes welling up with tears.

The man beside her was startled and for a moment didn't know what to do.

"Of course I will love you for a lifetime, Qiqi, don't cry." Guan Yue gently wiped the capybara's wet eyes with his fingers.

A hot tear fell onto the back of the man's hand.

Guan Yue felt a huge emptiness in his heart.

The capybara was still crying: "Don't you love me anymore? Are you going to love someone else?"
