Chapter 80, Chapter Eighty: Yet there is always something that can no longer be contained, the container collapses...

What kind of question is this?

Ji Chengnin was so overwhelmed by the absurdity that he even forgot to struggle.

On a sweltering summer day, the two were deeply engrossed in the brocade quilt, their bodies intertwined. Even though Zhong Meisheng was icy cold all over, Ji Chengning was still sweating profusely from his antics.

Hot sweat rolled down his brow bone and landed in his eyes, stinging painfully.

Ji Chengnin was in a bad mood, but he gave the evil spirit an extremely tender smile that was so beautiful it was mesmerizing. He asked softly, as if coaxing a lover he was inseparable from, "Do you really want to know?"

Zhong Mei narrowed his eyes, his voice indifferent, "I want to."

Ji Chengning, however, keenly sensed the urgency in his voice.

So he couldn't help but raise the corners of his lips, "Beg me."

The two words, which could have been the most aloof and superior, flowed wetly from his mouth, causing Zhong Mei to feel a momentary jolt.

The fear of being overwhelmed by temptations that one knows should not be indulged in, yet cannot resist.

He shouldn't have let Ji Chengnin be so smug.

He should learn from Ji Chengning's teasing and disciplining manner, remaining close yet distant, sometimes kind and sometimes mean, so that Ji Chengning will also know what it means to be anxious and insecure.

He thought this, and he opened his mouth.

Zhong Mei said, "Please."

Her voice was so soft it was almost inaudible, her tone still indifferent and calm, her chin slightly raised, as if she didn't care about Ji Chengnin's answer at all.

Ji Chengnin leaned closer.

A breath suddenly brushed against his face, catching Zhong Mei off guard, and he was filled with a mouthful of warm, sweet fragrance.

My breathing suddenly tightened.

Ji Chengning opened his lips.

His gaze followed Ji Chengnin's movements and fell upon Ji Chengnin's parted lips. Her soft, red tongue moved gently, and Zhong Mei heard her retort without hesitation, "You dare to compare yourself to my cousin?"

Zhong Mei had considered countless possible answers, but he never imagined that Ji Chengning would so resolutely say that he was not worthy.

His eyes suddenly widened.

Zhong Mei was unsure whether he was annoyed, angry, sad, or happy. He felt a mix of emotions swirling in his heart, crashing down hard and making it difficult for him to breathe.

For the first time in his life, Zhong Mei blurted out, "You!"

He couldn't say anything else.

Ji Chengnin raised an eyebrow, both smug and despicable, and his scorching breath brushed against the devil's lips. "What about me? I'm handsome and dashing, attracting you to play tricks on me every day and do this kind of lewd thing?"

If we're talking about shamelessness, Young Master Ji is number one, and no one dares to claim second place. He can even say such outrageous things with such confidence. Zhong Mei's anger is rising, and coupled with the embarrassment of being teased, his ears under his long hair are already red with spots.

He and Ji Chengning were in physical contact.

The heat emanating from the young marquis was continuously transferred to his hands.

It's not hot.

But in his panic, he let go of her hand.

Ji Chengning felt the pressure on his wrist loosen, and then the shadow covering him suddenly rolled over, the fabric rustling. The next moment, Zhong Mei was already leaning against the innermost part of the bed, his back to Ji Chengning, and he didn't say another word.

Ji Chengnin: "...Ha."

From his perspective, Zhong Mei, though tall, was crammed into a small corner, his legs unable to spread out, and he had to curl up slightly. His hideous ghost face was pressed tightly against the wall, while his head was slightly drooping. The room was dim, and he could only make out a distraught silhouette.

It was clearly Zhong Mei who started the teasing, and he only retaliated in kind, yet Zhong Mei became unhappy!

Ji Chengnin was never one to have a good temper. Seeing this, he propped himself up, leaned against the headboard without a care, and crossed his arms. "So pretentious."

Zhong Mei sneered, "The young master has countless beauties around him, some plump and some slender, all gentle and approachable. I am not worthy of the young master's attention."

Ji Chengnin scoffed, "What Meimei said is absolutely right. Then why are you still lingering in my bed? Could it be that you can't find your way back? Should I send someone to escort you?"

Upon hearing this, Zhong Mei abruptly stood up, "Thank you, Your Highness, but there's no need!"

"Whoosh—"

The robes rubbed together with a rustling sound.

Ji Chengning reached out to stop him, but his thoughts raced in a flash, and he pressed Ji Chengning back onto the bed.

Zhong Mei is completely incomprehensible. He's already meddling in everything before we're even married. If we really go along with him, won't he become unruly in the future?

He pressed his palms firmly against the bed and asked casually, "Why aren't you leaving yet?"

Zhong Mei gritted his teeth, "Your Highness."

Ji Chengning stepped on his hair!

Ji Chengnin seemed oblivious, beckoning with his finger to play with Zhong Mei's long hair in his palm, "What are you waiting for?"

Zhong Mei turned his head and met Ji Chengning's gaze.

Her peach-petal-like eyes curved slightly, it was hard to tell whether it was a provocation or a flirtation, but a hint of a smile was already showing in them. Her clear eyes rippled, making people's hearts flutter and almost drown in them.

Zhong Mei stared at him intently, suddenly recalling the way Meng Qi had stared blankly at Ji Chengning two hours earlier.

Even though the study window was only slightly ajar, he could see very clearly.

He was in a bad mood at the time and secretly sneered at Meng Qi's lack of composure. When the prince smiled, he was stunned and couldn't help but feel a little resentful.

But looking at him now, Zhong Mei suddenly felt that Meng Qi's reaction was understandable.

So his resentment intensified, blaming himself for being useless. Before Ji Chengning could even offer him any sweet treats, he was already eagerly wagging his tail and fawning over him.

Zhong Mei's chest heaved violently as he reached out to pull at the hair that Ji Chengning was holding down.

It wasn't brought up.

Young Master Ji reacted quickly, grabbing Zhong Mei's hand and pressing it heavily onto the bed.

Fingers lightly rubbed along the latter's wrist bone, fingertips lightly brushing against the smoothest and most sensitive skin on the inside of the wrist.

Zhong Mei's Adam's apple bobbed.

Ji Chengnin leaned closer and asked with a soft laugh, "Meimei, are you angry?"

Zhong Mei did not answer.

Ji Chengning hadn't used incense for a long time, but since Ji Lin had brought him a box of ambergris powder today, he used some. The warm and sweet scent, mixed with the heat unique to young people, was very pleasant after it had been released.

He opened his mouth silently, then closed it tightly again.

It's as if by doing this, I can savor a lingering fragrance from Ji Chengning's body between my teeth.

Ji Chengning lowered his head, almost pressing his head against Zhong Mei's chest, looking up at him from bottom to top, blinking his eyes.

Are you really angry?

Zhong Mei's once neat outer robe had long since become loose and baggy, sliding down unruly to reveal a small piece of his collarbone.

He was tall and slender, with a slender build and a sharp, beautiful bone structure that contrasted sharply with the grotesque ghost face above him, giving him a dangerous kind of beauty.

Ji Chengning clicked his tongue lightly, thinking to himself that this place was quite suitable for pouring wine.

Seeing that Zhong Mei didn't answer, Ji Chengnin simply leaned even more heavily into Zhong Mei's arms, propping himself up on his thighs with his elbows, while his fingertips mischievously traced his collarbone, "Zhong Mei?"

The smooth, rounded edge of the nail scraped against the skin, and continued to move upwards. "Mei Mei?"

It drifted slowly.

Her fingers lightly caressed him, as if he were a small toy that could be discarded at will, yet her eyes were fixed on him without blinking, her gaze as gentle as spring water, full of tender affection.

His fingers brushed against Adam's apple, almost touching it.

Zhong Mei glared at him seemingly angrily, but Ji Chengning could hear his sticky, heavy breathing.

Like a ferocious beast whose patience is about to run out.

Just as Ji Chengning was about to choke him with his finger, Zhong Mei suddenly reached out and grabbed Ji Chengning's finger.

Ji Chengning smiled and said, "Oh, so it's a living person."

As if he wasn't angry enough, he added fuel to the fire, saying, "My lord is not moving at all; I would think he is a statue waiting for his husband."

Zhong Mei swallowed silently without responding.

Ji Chengning then used this action to lift Zhong Mei's chin. The black iron was cold, but he inexplicably felt a burning sensation under his fingers.

“My dear, I had no other intention. My cousin is a pure and innocent young lady who has never left her maiden home, while you and I are two illicit lovers who have no matchmaker. Why drag my cousin into our affairs?”

As soon as he said this, Ji Chengning felt a gaze fixed on his face.

Whenever Zhong Mei is emotionally agitated, the bloodshot color in his eyes is always extremely obvious, a dense, reddish-brown like a spider web.

It looks ferocious and terrifying, and is extremely grotesque.

Ji Chengning, however, became even more interested. While such a life-or-death situation as pulling teeth from a tiger's mouth was certainly dangerous, the excitement it brought was indescribable.

His fingers traced the lines of the mask as he spoke with a smile, “Zhong Lang, it’s not that you’re unworthy to be compared to my cousin, but that you don’t need to.” He paused abruptly, then the lighthearted jest vanished from his voice, “My cousin is just my cousin.”

Zhong Mei was taken aback.

Ji Chengnin was actually serious when he said that.

Zhong Mei's breath suddenly stopped. He stared intently at Ji Chengnin, his eyes bloodshot.

A moment later, a hoarse voice, like the grinding of a rusty machine, rang in Ji Chengnin's ears, sinister and menacing, "And what about me?"

Ji Chengnin's playful mood returned. He half-opened his eyelids and scanned Zhong Mei's entire body. The latter's Adam's apple bobbed violently, and he trembled slightly as he tried to suppress it. "You?"

Ji Chengning suddenly felt a strange pity.

The veins on his pale neck were taut to the extreme, and through the thin skin, one could almost see the blood gushing wildly beneath.

He tentatively moved his hand away.

However, a moment later, Zhong Mei grabbed him tightly.

Ji Chengnin's expression was somewhat complicated.

He said, “You,” his fingers didn’t move away directly, but instead guided Zhong Mei’s hand to tap his lips, “are a lingering evil spirit.”

Zhong Mei's gaze was deep and intense, but the next moment, he suddenly trembled violently.

Ji Chengning looked up and gently kissed Zhong Mei's fingertips.

The hot, humid breath instantly overwhelmed all his senses. Zhong Mei's mind went blank, and all he could feel was what Ji Chengning was giving him.

"Chirp."

A moist sound.

Zhong Mei's heart was pounding so hard that he felt dizzy and all the blood was rushing to his head.

He closed his eyes tightly.

Then, just as Ji Chengnin was about to leave his embrace, he suddenly opened his eyes.

Before he could react, his free arm had already gripped Ji Chengnin's waist tightly, forcing him to lie on his lap.

"What are you doing?" Zhong Mei asked coldly.

"I didn't do anything." Ji Chengnin blinked, his long eyelashes trembling, looking very innocent. "You got bitten by a mosquito."

Zhong Mei sneered, "What a mosquito that can disturb people's minds."

Ji Chengning smiled and said, "Zhong Lang, you haven't cultivated your mind enough, yet you still blame me. There's no such logic in this world."

Her voice was as sweet as candy.

Before she finished speaking, the arm around her waist tightened even more.

The flesh and bones fit together perfectly.

Zhong Mei's gaze was fixed firmly on Ji Chengning's face.

Do not move.

Whether due to his heavy military duties or other reasons, he could not go any further.

One must be patient, restrained, and only try things out.

All the dark, sordid, and unspeakable desires rolled down like raindrops from the eaves.

Drop after drop, all of it was collected by the dew collector.

But there will always come a day when it can no longer hold, the container breaks, and the liquid spills everywhere.

The demon, painted with the skin of a beautiful woman, futilely clung to Ji Chengning, its sharp teeth biting hard into the soft flesh inside its mouth.

However, I didn't feel full at all.

I really want to...

The emotions in his pale eyes grew increasingly dark and gloomy.

I love it so much...
