The saliva got on Mu Mian's face, and when he reached out to wipe it off, it fell to the ground again.
The flesh on Mu Mian's face trembled. He took two deep breaths in succession and then suppressed the wild force in his body that wanted to beat Song Fei to a pulp.
"You're just so arrogant." Mu Mian said with a fake smile. He pulled out a few pieces of paper, crumpled them up, and roughly stuffed them into Song Fei's mouth. "You won't live for more than two days. I wonder how long you can keep being so arrogant."
Song Fei had a look of contempt on her face and didn't even bother to look at him. Her eyes hurt if she looked at Mu Mian for even a second longer.
Song Fei's frivolous and contemptuous look made Mu Mian think she deserved a beating. He was afraid that if he stayed any longer, Song Fei would not be able to resist hitting her, so he turned and left.
The room was plunged into complete darkness.
Song Fei stared into the darkness quietly, missing the guy who was afraid of the dark. She wondered what he was doing now...
-
Walking out of Song Fei's ward, Mu Mian saw the dark shadow standing at the end of the corridor. He turned on his toes and walked towards the person in the shadow.
"When is the best time to have the surgery?" Mu Mian stood in a dimly lit corner, talking to the person in front of him.
"I've already started preparations, and the plan will be launched the day after tomorrow."
"OK."
Mu Mian patted the man's shoulder and sighed, "Director Zhu, work hard. If you get this done, I'll make you the dean."
Zhu Yuanwen nodded slightly and said respectfully, "I will do my best."
"Um."
After walking out of the hospital and standing at the gate of Xinqiao Hospital, Mu Mian looked up at the pitch-black 8th floor, then quickly got into the car.
Sitting in the driver's seat, Mu Mian untied his tie, feeling annoyed.
In fact, he was not as calm as he looked. This was murder, killing for his own daughter! A living person!
Feeling uneasy, Mu Mian quickly turned on the night light and searched around the carriage until he finally found a pack of cigarettes. He pulled one out, lit it quickly, and took a long drag.
Cigarettes are a good thing, they can numb people's conscience.
Under the soothing effect of nicotine, Mu Mian gradually regained his composure. After smoking the cigarette, Mu Mian started the car and left.
As soon as he left, a girl wearing a gray and black hoodie appeared at the spot where he had parked. She paused for a moment before walking to the gate of Xinqiao Hospital.
Standing at the gate, she looked up, just as Mu Mian had done before. Staring at the dark floor, Mu Qiu's eyes flickered slightly.
What is hidden there?
The dark and empty 8th floor was like the belly of a monster, silently swallowing up all strangers who stepped into its territory.
Flat shoes clattered against the corridor floor tiles, making a series of muffled sounds that gripped her heart. The faint green light of the fire indicator reflected on Mu Qiu's face, and her fair face turned slightly green, like a devil from hell.
From left to right, Mu Qiu tried to open each door in turn. After opening seven or eight doors in a row, he finally managed to turn the handle of one door.
Mu Qiu held the handle and the corners of his lips curled up.
Found you!

The door opened.
Inside the room, the person on the bed moved their limbs, their clothes making a slight rustling sound against the couch. In the darkness, a pair of eyes as cold and indifferent as icebergs stared at Mu Qiu who had suddenly appeared, without a trace of emotion.
When Mu Qiu heard the voice, the corners of her lips curled up even more. She turned around and faced the bed.
Under the neon lights of the street outside the building, Mu Qiu saw a person tied to the bed. The light was dim, and the person was thin and it was difficult to tell whether he was a man or a woman.
Mu Qiu took small steps and walked to the bed. She bent down slightly and stared at the woman's face closely for a long time before she smiled and said, "Hello, Song Fei."
She was not surprised at all, as if she had expected to see Song Fei here.
Song Fei moved her body but didn't say anything.
"So your mouth is blocked." Mu Qiu reached out and took the paper ball out of Song Fei's mouth. As he did so, he complained to Mu Mian, "Dad is really rude to you. Why is it so uncomfortable to have your mouth blocked?"
Song Fei regained her right to speak. "You've impressed me." This was more ironic than complimentary.
Mu Qiu frowned slightly, as if she didn't understand what he said.
"I thought you were unaware of this." Song Fei sneered, "It turns out you are the big bad wolf hiding behind the scenes."
Mu Qiu disagreed with Song Fei's comments. She calmly corrected Song Fei, "I didn't do anything. My father orchestrated all of this. You're unlucky because you share the same blood as me and your antibodies match mine."
When speaking, Mu Qiu's expression was very innocent, as if she had suffered a great injustice.
"Stop playing innocent in front of me. It makes me want to vomit." Song Fei's voice was icy and cold, like the frost and snow in the cold winter, or the ice fields on the mountains. Even a curse word spoken in such a voice was pleasant to the ears.
Song Fei stared at Mu Qiu's face and found this really funny. "You are clean and holy. You are purer than a sticky rice dumpling. You are the only innocent and pitiful person in the world."
Mu Qiu remained silent after being scolded. The grievance on her face had disappeared, and she had become gloomy. "We're sisters, but your mouth is much fouler than Song Ci's."
Mu Qiu was telling the truth, and Song Fei didn't refute it. Song Fei was quite curious about one thing. "If Mu Mian knew that the precious daughter he had tried so hard to save was actually a black-hearted venomous snake, I wouldn't know whether he would be relieved or disappointed."
Mu Qiu said firmly: "He won't know." No one will know Mu Qiu's true face.
