Chapter 209 The Mysterious Boss

Song Ci stood beside Coleman. The sea breeze was very strong. She wrapped her coat tightly and stood quietly with Coleman.

Coleman continued to speak, "After she fell into the sea, I came to the Mediterranean. I drifted on this sea for a month, but I didn't find her, not even her bones."

How desperate is it to search for the bones of a loved one in the vast ocean?

Song Ci turned her head and looked at Coleman's old face.

Thinking back to the last time they met in Wangdong City, Coleman had asked her when her mother died. She probably recognized her as Jiang Shiyu's daughter by then.

Song Ci felt a little sorry for Coleman.

Her mother, a true beauty, has driven countless talented men crazy. The autistic pianist Kleinman, the arrogant drug lord Edward, and her father, who is as kind and gentle as a spring breeze...

"Colleman, she's dead." Although it was cruel, Song Ci still had to make Coleman face the reality, "Colleman, you can't wait for your Jiang Shiyu to come back."

Kleiman's lips moved as if he was about to cry.

"You look very similar to your mother when she was young, especially the way you play the violin." Kleinman picked up the violin in front of him, handed it to Song Ci, and said, "This is your mother's violin that I found at sea."

Song Ci was surprised.

She looked down at the piano, and in the dim light of the street lamp, she saw a name engraved on it -

Rain.

Song Ci held the harp with trembling hands. She licked her lips and said to Coleman, "Thank you for keeping this harp for my mother, Coleman."

The night air blew Song Ci's long hair, and a layer of sadness covered her porcelain-white face. The silent Song Ci was more like the Rain in Coleman's memory. Coleman suddenly said, "Can you play "The Rose" for me?"

The-Rose is a song from the 1979 movie "The Rose", an English song that has been popular for decades.

Coleman told Song Ci: "Rain played this song for me on my birthday. After all these years, I can still remember that melody." Coleman began to hum. He had a great talent for piano, but he was not good at singing, and the tune he hummed was not pleasant.

Song Ci listened to Coleman's humming. In the night, she raised the violin with her left hand, held the bow with her right hand, and played the classic and popular song.

Coleman seemed to be in a forest at dawn, with layers of light mist gently brushing against his face.

The gentle, lingering piano music brought Coleman back to that midsummer night thirty-six years ago. Rain, standing in his yard, dressed in a white dress, played "The Rose." She plucked a rose from the yard, pinned it to his ear, and said to him with a smile, "Colleman, you are my rose."

Roses represent love in the West.

Jiang Shiyu said that Coleman is her love.

Before he knew it, Coleman was in tears.

After the performance, Song Ci hugged the violin. She looked at Kleinman with tears on his face and whispered to him, "You have taken good care of this violin, Kleinman. I will take good care of it."

Coleman said nothing.

The autistic Coleman doesn't like close contact with people, but after a brief hesitation, he gently hugged Song Ci.

Song Ci was stunned for a moment, but instead of resisting, she stretched out her arms and gently hugged Coleman.

It was a goodbye hug.

Coleman let go of Song Ci, turned around and left without saying anything.

The road curved along the coastline, and Coleman walked along it, alone. Ever since his mother's death, no one had ever willingly accompanied him. He would live the rest of his life alone.

It was a dark night, with waves crashing against the rocks, when Coleman suddenly heard the sound of a piano.

Twinkle, twinkle, and sparkle.

The sky is full of little stars.

Coleman paused, slowly turned around and looked at the young girl behind him with a bright smile on her face.

Coleman suddenly laughed.

He turned and continued to sing as he walked: "Twinkle-twinkle-little-star, How-I-wonder-what-you-are..."

-

After seeing Coleman off, Song Ci stayed alone on the beach for a while. Feeling cold, she turned back to the hotel. She disliked the fatigue of wearing high heels, so she took off her high heels, held the high heels in one hand and the piano in the other, and walked back to the hotel.

On a cold night, there were few pedestrians on the street, but there were a few vehicles.

Song Ci walked for more than ten minutes before returning to the hotel. Long Yu followed her closely, and when he saw Song Ci return to the hotel, he realized that he had run out of cigarettes, so he went to buy some.

Song Ci put on his shoes at the hotel entrance, walked into the lobby, turned a corner and entered the elevator room.

The elevator door opened, and Song Ci walked in and pressed the button for her floor. She lowered her head again and looked at the violin in her hand. It was dim outside, so she hadn't seen the instrument clearly.

The light in the elevator was bright, and Song Ci realized that although the zither was old, it was very shiny and it was obvious that it was a treasure that was carefully cared for.

Just then, Song Ci heard footsteps.

The footsteps were regular and heavy.

Song Ci looked up curiously and saw five men in black approaching. Two in front, two in the back, and a tall, handsome man in the middle. Han Zhan was considered the tallest man Song Ci had ever seen, but this man was even taller than Han Zhan.
