Valan knelt on the ground, staring at the pool of blood on the ground that was burned by alcohol and was rolling with white foam. He didn't say a word.
After Edward had gone downstairs and until he could no longer hear his footsteps, Valjean slowly climbed up, holding onto the sofa. As he moved, the wound became irritated, causing more blood to flow. Finally, Valjean could no longer bear it, and a painful groan escaped his lips.
When Valan raised his head to leave, he found that Cecilio had arrived at the entrance of the second-floor hall at some point.
His tall figure stood at the foot of the door, his arms folded, looking at Valan with an indifferent expression.
Valjean pursed his lips a few times, and finally said nothing, dragging his aching body to go downstairs. When he passed by Cecilio, Valjean's arm was grabbed by Cecilio.
Valan didn't move.
Cecilio took out his cell phone, made a call, and informed the doctor in Italian to come and remove the bullet from Valjean. He hung up the phone and pinched Valjean's chin with one hand, forcing Valjean to look up.
Valan was weak and his face was pale, but his gray-blue eyes were filled with pride and unwillingness to admit defeat.
Cecilio lowered his head, almost kissing Valan. He told Valan expressionlessly, "He abandoned you. He has a completely new identity: a Chinese soldier, respected by everyone. He sits upright and walks straight wherever he goes... And what about you?"
Arang's eyelids trembled slightly, but he didn't answer.
Cecilio said, "You are a rat from hell, and your name is on the world's most wanted list. He is the moon in the sky, and you are the mud on the ground. Why bother?"
Valjean's eyes gradually turned red. He looked into Cecilio's cold and sharp eyes and said, "Cecilio, you have been respected and loved since childhood." Valjean smiled slightly, a smile that was sad but also very satisfied. He said, "There are more than six billion people in this world, but he is the only one who treats me well."
Cecilio frowned slightly and let go of Agen.
As Ajan walked down the stairs step by step, his vision went dark and he lost consciousness.
In a daze, he seemed to see Cecilio running towards him quickly. He thought to himself: Cecilio is my father's most satisfactory heir. His heart is as cold as a snake and scorpion. Why would he worry about him?

On the day Valan left China, he sent a text message to Han Zhan.
The text message said: [Hoff, I'm back. Take good care of your Song Dynasty porcelain beauty. I'll come visit her again.]
Han Zhan deleted the text message and told Song Ci: "Arang is gone."
At that time, Song Ci was folding the babies' clothes. After hearing Han Zhan's words, Song Ci felt relieved. "Are you sure?"
"Um."
"That's good." After Arjan left, Han Zhan was no longer in danger.
Song Ci said to Han Zhan, "Beibei fell yesterday and had a severe hemorrhage, almost causing a serious accident. Isn't she in the hospital? I plan to go see her. Brother Han, can you come with me?"
The living room at Li Li's house was tiled. During the day, when Su Beibei was awake, Li's mother didn't dare mop the tiles, fearing Su Beibei might slip. Last night before bed, Li Li's mother mopped the living room as usual, but perhaps because she was tired, she went to bed without mopping the tiles.
Su Beibei was thirsty at night and went to the kitchen to drink water, but unfortunately she slipped.
When Li's mother heard Su Beibei's cry, she woke up in shock and ran to the living room to see Su Beibei lying on the ground with blood coming out of her lower body. Li's mother was so scared that she almost fainted on the spot.
Su Beibei remained calm and ordered Li's mother to call an ambulance. Luckily, there was a Chinese medicine hospital near their home, and Su Beibei arrived promptly. After emergency treatment, the bleeding was successfully stopped, and the two children were saved.
But Su Beibei will have to stay in bed for a week, and even longer after she's discharged. The doctor said that in her case, there's a risk of premature birth, so the longer the baby can stay in her mother's womb, the better.
Li Li went on a business trip to Japan the day before yesterday and was on his way home today. It would take another two hours to get home. Song Ci hadn't dared to go out because of Arang. When she heard that Arang had returned, she naturally wanted to go to the hospital to see Su Beibei.
Of course Han Zhan also wanted to go with them. "Let's go together."
Without having dinner, Han Zhan took Song Ci to the hospital.
When they arrived, Su Beibei was the only one in the bed, and she was already asleep.
After a near-death experience last night, Su Beibei's face was pale and she looked extremely haggard. Hearing the noise, Su Beibei woke up from her light sleep.
Seeing that it was Song Ci and Han Zhan, Su Beibei gave Song Ci a reassuring smile. Without waiting for Song Ci to comfort her, she smiled and said, "Don't worry, the child is saved, and I'm fine too."
As a mother herself, Song Ci felt very uncomfortable when she heard Su Beibei's words.
She walked to the bedside and sat down, holding Su Beibei's hands. Perhaps because of excessive blood loss, Su Beibei's hands were cold. Song Ci held those hands in her palms and said, "You have suffered."
Su Beibei shook her head. "It was my own fault that I was careless."
"Hey, this is no one's fault." Not seeing Mama Li, Song Ci asked Su Beibei, "Where's Auntie?"
"Mom was scared last night. I asked her to go back and rest in the afternoon. Li Li will be back soon anyway." Li's mother had just undergone an operation last year. Although her body has recovered well, it is not as good as before the operation.
Last night, Su Beibei had a massive hemorrhage and nearly lost her baby. Mother Li blamed herself and felt guilty, wiping away tears the entire day until her eyes were red from crying. Su Beibei was worried her mother-in-law might damage her eyes from crying, so she scolded her and sent her home to rest.
"It's time to go back and rest more."
Su Beibei said, "I don't know if it's just my own mind, or if the fall last night scared the baby, but he hasn't moved much today." Next to her was a fetal heart rate monitor. She said, "If the fetal heart rate monitor hadn't shown anything normal, I'd be really worried about the baby..."
