That day, before Orianna succeeded in convincing Edward to give up that boring game, Ye Chen was taken to the steel plant by Edward's men.
Orianna's mouth was blocked. When she saw Ye Chen coming, she had a thousand words to say to Ye Chen, but she couldn't even open her mouth.
Orianna shook her head in despair, her eyes filled with pain and guilt. She regretted that she shouldn't have provoked Ye Chen.
Ye Chen gave Orianna a soothing smile and said, "Don't be afraid, I'll be with you."
Ye Chen and Orianna were placed in two iron cages respectively. There was an electric switch lock under the cage. As long as Edward gave an order, the lock would open automatically and the people in the cage would fall into the boiler.
He was trapped in a cage, with molten iron at 2,000 degrees Celsius beneath his feet, and facing Edward, who had a wicked expression and could call him by his name at any time. Despite this, Ye Chen remained calm.
Edward admired Ye Chen's courage, but who made him provoke his little daughter?

After revealing Ye Chen's thoughts, Edward suddenly curled up his lips into a strange smile. "My dear child, why don't you guess, am I willing to give it up, or am I reluctant to give it up?"
Edward's smile made Ye Chen feel cold all over.
Everything he said is true!
Once she chooses to quit the game, Orianna will really die!
Maybe other fathers would be willing to fight to protect their daughters, but Edward is not that kind of man.
After realizing this hopeless fact, Ye Chen calmed down.
Ye Chen tilted his head and looked at Orianna.
Orianna's face was covered with tears. She cried and shook her head at him, her eyes full of pleading.
She was begging him not to make a choice. She would rather die with him than let Ye Chen leave her alone.
Understanding Orianna's eyes, Ye Chen actually smiled with relief.
"Oliana, you are only 21 years old, and your life has just begun." After a pause, Ye Chen stared at Oriana's face with deep affection and no regrets, wanting to engrave that beautiful face deep in his soul.
"Oliana, I'm sorry, I can't drag you to death with me."
Because of love, she chose to die with him.
Because of love, he chose to die alone.
At four minutes and forty seconds, Ye Chen made a decision -
"Edward, I want Orianna to live."
Edward's smile froze slightly when he heard Ye Chen's answer.
idiot!
What an idiot!
Anyone who acts foolishly for love is a fool!
Edward laughed. "Anna, my dear child. Congratulations, he truly loves you."
Orianna naively thought that if Ye Chen passed the test, Edward would agree that they should be together. But then, Edward's second words sent Orianna back to hell.
"My child, love is too torturous. This man cannot stay!"
Edward would not allow his children to be bound by love for the rest of their lives.
Edward raised his hand, and under Orianna's desperate and angry gaze, he coldly spat out two words -
"unlock!"
Orianna heard a click.
She saw the sensor lock under Ye Chen's feet automatically open and get bigger and bigger. When Ye Chen fell, he quickly grabbed the iron railing.
Ye Chen's legs were hanging on the high-temperature furnace, and he kept struggling.
He held the hot iron railing and was burned so much that he couldn't bear it, but he didn't dare to let go.
Because if he lets go, he will fall.
Orianna cried desperately, but her mouth was blocked and she couldn't even make a sound.
Ye Chen was also afraid of death. He was so scared that his face turned pale and his legs were shaking, but his hands were still tightly holding the hot iron railings.
But he never asked for forgiveness or regretted it.
Edward watched this scene with amusement, and he did not soften his heart at all.
He deliberately asked his subordinates to shake the iron cage. The iron cage swayed on the hot road. Ye Chen felt dizzy and could no longer hold on, so he let go!
Ye Chen fell into the high-temperature furnace, stirring up a wave of molten iron.
Orianna didn't even hear Ye Chen's shouts. He just sank into the molten iron and became a part of the steel.
Edward looked at Orianna expressionlessly and warned her, "Anna, this is what happens when you don't obey."
