Edward once again set a new record for disgusting behavior in front of Song Ci.
Could he be any more disgusting and perverted?
Argen chuckled, "His perversion is far more than this..."
Argen didn't want to discuss with Song Ci exactly how disgusting Edward was. He changed the subject and said to Song Ci, "Do you know why Orianna is researching cloning?"
Song Ci was not familiar with Orianna. She had been locked up here by Edward for three months and had only met Orianna twice.
Even when they met, Orianna never even glanced at Song Ci.
Orianna ignored him, and Song Ci didn't even bother to give Orianna a look.
Song Ci shook her head, "I don't know about Orianna."
In fact, there are many things that Song Ci doesn’t know.
She didn't know why Valan disappeared so often and always came back hurt.
She didn't know why Cecilio was so awkward. He was obviously worried about her, but he deliberately acted indifferent and hated her.
Song Ci didn't understand why Edward was so bad?
Arang then told Song Ci about the ill-fated relationship between Orianna and Ye Chen. "Olianna, you once had a beloved lover, a Harvard professor. He was very young and brave..."
When Song Ci heard that Edward was so cruel as to throw Ye Chen into a steel furnace to kill him in order to sever his relationship with Orianna, he felt sick and scared, and his stomach churned.
She pressed her stomach and said in a weak voice, "So, Orianna, you watched your lover being killed by your own father?"
Ajan: “Yeah.”
Song Ci was frightened.
She couldn't imagine how devastated she would be if Han Zhan died like that in front of her.
I'm afraid he'll go crazy!
You will be haunted by nightmares for the rest of your life!
Song Ci recalled the two times she met Orianna. Every time she appeared, she was dressed beautifully and had a cold and arrogant look. When she looked at people, her eyes were always cold and arrogant.
You can't tell at all that that person had experienced such a tragic past.
Song Ci admired Orianna's strength.
"After Ye Chen died, my father used the molten iron of Ye Chen's flesh and blood to make a steel sculpture. He also gave the sculpture to Orianna and placed it on the top of the mountain on the island where Orianna lived."
"Olerana was provoked and ready to fight her father to the death with a gun. It was Cecilio and his men who intercepted her. Two shots woke Olerana up."
Argen shrugged and smiled, "It's a pity that Orianna hasn't killed her father yet."
Song Ci, however, heard another meaning in Agen's words. "Cecilio, what kind of person is he?"
Valan said nothing.
What kind of person is Cecilio?
Ajan didn't understand either.
When he thought Cecilio was as cruel as Edward, Cecilio saved Orianna.
Just when he thought Cecilio still had some humanity, Cecilio cruelly killed his lover.
"I don't understand him."
For so many years, Cecilio has been a mystery.
Valanciunas cannot define Cecilio with pure words like "good" or "bad".
Not wanting to talk about Cecilio any more, Agen brought the conversation back to the point. "Oliana is a biological science expert. After Ye Chen's death, she's been researching human cloning, hoping to resurrect him using the same genes."
"In the past nine years, Orianna has cloned three or four Ye Chens, but each of them died suddenly."
"The cloning technology is still immature."
Song Ci was shocked when he heard this.
Watching every Ye Chen die, wasn't it a heartbreak for Orianna again and again? "She's too crazy, why would she do that..."
Valgen spoke with a clear and logical voice, like a love expert. "Because I loved you so deeply, I can't let go. Just like Hof, knowing he was walking into a dangerous place alone to save you, he still came without hesitation."
Because of love, people become crazy and irrational.
This is true for Orianna and Hof.
Arrang's words shocked Song Ci.
Song Ci's expression naturally revealed a hint of surprise and worry. She hurriedly asked Arang, "Is Han Zhan here?"
Valan curled his lips. "Why pretend? Others might not recognize him, but I will recognize Hof. He's so brave to approach Cecilio. I really admire him."
After saying that, Arang stared at Song Ci, wanting to verify his bold guess from the subtlest expression on Song Ci's face.
But after hearing Valan's words, Song Ci not only did not fall into Valan's language trap, but instead showed a look of surprise on his face.
Song Ci asked Arrang anxiously, "Did Han Zhan really come? When did he come? Did Edward notice him?"
Valan only said that Han Zhan was close to Cecilio, but did not explicitly point out that Han Zhan was Karl. Song Ci suspected that Valan was bluffing her and wanted her to reveal her true identity.
But Song Ci is not really an idiot. She would not be so stupid as to reveal the fact that Karl is Han Zhan.
So she pretended to be completely clueless yet eager to know the truth, deliberately confusing Valanciunas.
Besides, she had a listening device installed in her body, so she would never reveal that Han Zhan was Karl.
Looking at Song Ci's reaction, Arang felt a little confused.
Could it be that my guess is wrong?
Is it true that Hof hasn't come to Catania yet?
Valan had always thought that Song Ci was just a pretty face, and never thought that Song Ci was actually trying to trick him. Therefore, after hearing Song Ci's answer, Valan dispelled his doubts.
