As soon as Edward finished speaking, a man holding a violin stood beside Song Ci, bending over.
Rain was very happy. She stared at Song Ci expectantly and urged her, "Mom, I want to listen to the birthday concerto!"
Song Ci hesitated for a moment, then stood up.
She took the piano from her subordinate, stood on the deck, and played a birthday concerto.
Edward looked at it more seriously than Rain.
After Song Ci finished playing, she returned the instrument to her subordinate. Rain clapped her hands enthusiastically. "It sounds great, Mom, you're amazing! You're so charming when you play the violin."
Song Ci sat down, turned her head to look at Rain's smiling face, and felt uncomfortable in her heart.
Edward said to Rain again: "Next, you can make a wish."
Rain didn't know the rules and directly expressed his wish -
"I hope that Edward and Mom stay healthy and happy forever. I hope Mom can stay with Rain forever. I also want to go to China with Mom to see the Great Wall and cruise the Wujiang River!"
Edward and Song Ci had different reactions when they heard Rain's naive and ridiculous wish, and both lowered their heads.
After eating the cake, Edward personally hugged Rain and danced with her.
Under the moonlight, their dancing was like a dream, not a dream. After the dance, Rain leaned on Edward's shoulder and said, "Edward, I'm a little sleepy."
Edward smiled and said, "I can't sleep tonight."
"Um?"
Edward: "Rain, give you to me, okay?"
Rain looked confused. "How do I give it to you?"
When Song Ci heard Edward's words, her expression changed drastically and she stood up suddenly from the stool.
The moment Song Ci stood up, two subordinates walked over quickly, held Song Ci's arms, and restricted all his movements.
This sudden change shocked Rain.
"Edward..." Rain looked at this scene with a pale face. She grabbed Edward's arm and asked him: "Edward, why are they holding Mom?"
Edward shed his gentle appearance and revealed his evil true face.
"Because of her, I was disturbed!"
Rain was stunned.
How did Mom provoke Edward?
Edward put his arms around Rain's slender waist, brought her into his arms, and pressed her head against his chest, not allowing her to move.
Staring at Song Ci with an indignant expression, Edward said to her with a smile: "Sweetheart, do you think that just by following me, you can stop me from doing things? No one can stop me, Edward, from wanting someone!"
After saying that, Edward suddenly stretched out his left hand and quickly removed the tablecloth from the table.
Cakes, wine, and fruits were all thrown to the ground.
Rain only heard the sound of something falling to the ground, and the next second, her body was spinning. When she opened her eyes again, Rain saw a sky full of stars and a bright moon, and she realized that she had been laid down on the table by Edward.
Edward waved his hand, and all the extra people on the deck left voluntarily, leaving only Song Ci and the two tall and burly men behind her.
Edward began to take off his white shirt.
Rain watched Edward take off his shirt gracefully. She thought of the topic Song Ci had mentioned before and realized that Edward was about to do something terrible to her. The usually well-behaved Rain began to resist and struggle fiercely.
She flailed around, kicking Edward in the stomach.
Edward's body was as strong as iron, and Rain's soft fists and kicks could not hurt Edward at all.
Edward was annoyed by the cat's disobedience, so he grabbed Rain's ankles and pressed her down on the table again.
Rain lost the ability to resist and cried out helplessly, "Edward, you can't do this to me!"
Edward sneered, "I call you Rain, do you really think you're a human being?"
Rain didn't understand what Edward meant.
Edward stared at the tearful girl and told her a cruel truth: "You are nothing more than a replica, a clone. You exist only to amuse me!"
Hearing this, Rain was struck by lightning.
"Clone!"
Rain has read many books, so of course she knows what clones are.
Strictly speaking, this world allows the existence of human clones. Legally, human clones are not human beings at all, but merely experimental subjects!
Rain thought about her own terrifying growth rate, and she suddenly understood everything.
Rain looked at Song Ci who was also crying beside her. She refused to accept her fate and asked Song Ci again: "Mom, am I really a clone? Am I not your daughter?"
Song Ci was already in tears.
Facing Rain's beautiful eyes that were about to break and shatter, Song Ci's rationality completely collapsed. "Rain, don't listen to Edward, Edward is lying to you! Rain, you are my daughter, you are a human, not a clone!"
Rain really wanted to believe Song Ci's words, but Song Ci's tears betrayed her lies.
"So I'm not human..."
But if she is not a human, why would she be afraid and heartbroken?
Seeing Edward pick up the handcuffs hidden under the table, Rain got scared and struggled even harder. "Don't tie me up! I won't let you touch me!"
Rain's non-cooperation made Edward unhappy.
Edward slapped Rain directly on the face!
