There were relatively few vehicles on the road late at night, so Jiang Bi drove the car to 70 miles per hour.
Han Wangwang watched Jiang Bi drive the car into the underground garage of a residential complex. She wondered, "Whose house are you taking me to?" The residential complex is where people live. Who is Jiang Bi taking her to see?
The girl's family?
"Don't worry, I won't sell you out." Han Wangwang felt a little relieved when he saw Jiang Bi was still in the mood to joke.
The car circled several corners in the underground garage before finally stopping in a private parking space. Han Wangwang's eyes flickered when he saw Jiang Bi park the car in the private parking space. "Did you buy a house here?"
"Um."
Jiang Bi unbuckled Han Wangwang's seatbelt and flicked her forehead with her finger. "Let's go, idiot."
"You're the stupid one!"
Han Wangwang quickly got out of the car, caught up with Jiang Bi, and headed for the elevator. As they walked, Han Wangwang searched online for houses in this neighborhood. Seeing the staggeringly high prices, she smiled and said, "Our Bi'er is so rich. She bought such an expensive house so easily. I didn't even know when you bought a house here."
She and Jiang Bi had only been good friends since their sophomore year, which meant they had been together for three years. They had done a lot of intimate things together, but she had no idea that Jiang Bi actually had a house.
If Jiang Bi were a man, Han Wangwang would have suspected that he was raising a little canary here.
"I bought it a while ago." The elevator stopped on the 26th floor. Jiang Bi pulled Han Wangwang to his door and entered the password directly in front of Han Wangwang.
Han Wangwang stared with wide eyes and silently memorized the password.
The door opened, and Han Wangwang looked up, stunned by the cold, industrial decor inside. "Who designed this house?" It was so cold, it felt depressing.
Jiang Bi said, "I like this style."
"This is very different from the style of the house you live in now."
"That's a boutique apartment, already renovated, and it can't be changed. This apartment is decorated exactly as I requested, and it better suits my personal aesthetic."
Jiang Bi took off her shoes and said, "I'm sorry, I haven't brought anyone here before, so I don't have any extra slippers."
Han Wangwang smiled and shook her head: "It's okay, I can go barefoot." She took off her sneakers and stepped barefoot on the black and gray tile floor. Only then did she realize that Jiang Bi was wearing a pair of men's slippers.
Han Wangwang frowned and complained about his taste, "What kind of slippers did you buy? They are definitely men's slippers." Jiang Bi was wearing a pair of black men's slippers, which were very large.
Han Wangwang had long noticed that Jiang Bi had large feet, a size 41. He couldn't even find suitable high heels, so he usually wore sneakers. "But since you have large feet, men's slippers are definitely more comfortable."
At this point, Han Wangwang still hadn't noticed anything strange about Jiang Bi. She tilted her head and asked Jiang Bi, "Can I see your house?"
Jiang Bi nodded.
Han Wangwang, like a little rabbit, hopped around to explore every corner of his house. As he pushed open the first room, Han Wangwang suddenly exclaimed, "Holy crap! So many knives!"
Han Wangwang stared at the room in front of her in amazement. There were many knives and weapons hanging on the four walls of the room. She saw long swords, daggers, Emei spears, nunchakus, in short, all of which were controlled knives that would be confiscated by the police.
Jiang Bi's expression remained unchanged when he heard Han Wangwang's exclamation. He walked into the kitchen, opened an unopened bag of coffee beans, and began to brew coffee leisurely.
Han Wangwang turned around and glanced silently towards the kitchen. Seeing Jiang Bian quietly making coffee without any response to her, she felt a little uneasy.
What does this damn girl want to do by secretly hiding so many knives at home?
Han Wangwang stared at the gleaming blades, a chill running down her spine. Not daring to look any further, she quickly slipped out, locking the door.
She pushed open the second room and found that it was a computer room with five pure black computers placed side by side. They were all high-end computers.
Han Wangwang's eyes were filled with confusion. Does Jiang Bi need to use so many computers by herself?
It felt like entering a hacker's den.
Han Wangwang turned and walked out of the computer room, pushing open the master bedroom. The master bedroom was very large, and the bedroom was right inside. The door on the left side of the bedroom was open, which should be the study. The small door on the right was closed, and it was hard to tell what it was used for.
Han Wangwang pushed open the closed door and found a spacious cloakroom inside.
Han Wangwang walked into the cloakroom and looked at the clothes. The more she looked, the more serious her expression became. She stayed in the cloakroom for a full three minutes before leaving.
Jiang Bi stared at the coffee bubbling in the coffee machine. When she heard the footsteps getting closer and closer to her, the corners of Jiang Bi's lips curled up inexplicably.
He turned off the power, picked up the machine and poured the coffee into two black ceramic coffee cups.
Jiang Bi picked up one of the cups and turned around.
Han Wangwang stood quietly behind him, looking at him with eyes full of anger.
Jiang Bi pretended not to notice Han Wangwang's look and handed the coffee to him. "No sugar, would you like some?"
Han Wangwang didn't take the coffee.
Jiang Bi knew she was angry, so he pretended to be confused and asked, "Are you angry, Wangwang?"
"I saw it all," said Han Wangwang.
Jiang Bi nodded, pursed her lips, and then said, "As you see, it's all true." Jiang Bi's heart was not as calm as her expression looked. When she spoke, her voice sounded a little hoarse and trembling.
