However, being dumped is indeed a shameful thing, and Song Ci regretted that she shouldn't have exposed Han Zhan's wounds.
After getting in the car and sitting down, Song Ci remained silent, looking embarrassed for having said something wrong.
The car drove to the underground garage downstairs of Han Zhan's house. Han Zhan loosened his seat belt and reached out to pat Song Ci on the head. "Don't blame yourself. Since I can talk about this matter frankly, it means it's all in the past."

Han Zhan didn't say anything, but his eyes looked at her more deeply.

After getting out of the car, Han Zhan opened the trunk to take out his things. When he pulled the box out of the trunk, he accidentally brought the wooden box to the ground, and a black rope fell out.
Song Ci heard the noise and ran over. "What fell?" Song Ci was very nervous, and her voice sounded shrill.
Han Zhan was squatting on the ground picking up the box. He stretched out his hand and just touched the rope when Song Ci strode over. Song Ci squatted beside Han Zhan and quickly snatched the rope from Han Zhan's hand.
His expression was a little fierce.
Song Ci held the rope in his right hand and looked at it carefully in front of his eyes, looking extremely distressed.
Han Zhan felt sorry. He turned around and apologized to Song Ci, "I'm sorry, I was careless..." After Han Zhan saw the rope necklace in Song Ci's hand, he suddenly forgot what he wanted to say.
Han Zhan stared at the necklace in surprise.
The black rope was tied into a knot with a few golden beads in the middle. At the end of the rope hung a high-quality floating flower peace locket. Han Zhan stared at the peace locket with a flickering look in his eyes.
He lowered his head to look at Song Ci's face and heard Song Ci muttering, "I told you this is a token of my first love that I received. You broke it for me. Can you afford the compensation?" Song Ci was like a lion whose territory was invaded. For the first time, she showed her sharp claws to Han Zhan.
Han Zhan didn't say anything.
Song Ci placed the peace locket next to her cheek and touched it, feeling the smooth touch of the peace locket, and she felt extremely scared.
"Fortunately it didn't break." Song Ci felt very distressed, and she snatched the wooden box from Han Zhan's hand again.
After carefully putting the peace locket back into the box, Song Ci raised her head again and said to Han Zhan fiercely, "Don't touch it again in the future. If you break it, I will be angry with you."
Han Zhan still didn't speak.

Han Zhan came back to his senses and stood up to catch up with Song Ci. After entering the elevator, Han Zhan looked at the two figures reflected in the elevator wall. He suddenly asked, "What does your first love look like?"
Song Ci showed a fangirl expression and said, "My crush, he is the most handsome, coolest, and kindest man in the world." Winking at Han Zhan, Song Ci deliberately belittled him, "Even more handsome than you."
Han Zhan: "Really?"
His tone was quite strange.
Song Ci heard the strange emotion in Han Zhan's words, "Yeah." She asked Han Zhan with a smile: "Brother Han, you are not jealous, are you?"
Han Zhan shook his head.
Song Ci curled her lips, "If you get jealous, maybe I will only love you."
Han Zhan: "Then I'm jealous."
Song Ci, however, found it boring. "It's too late."
Remembering something, Song Ci asked Han Zhan, "Why did you lie in front of Mu Mian today?" Song Ci bit her lip and whispered, "We clearly didn't do anything in Shunchen City."
Han Zhan explained: "He was investigating your daily activities during your time in Shunchen City."
Song Ci was stunned, and the cold air penetrated into her body through every pore.
Song Ci felt a chill in his head.
"H-How do you know?"
"You're my girlfriend. I know who's investigating you." Han Zhan told Song Ci, "When I learned the news, Mu Mian had already checked the surveillance records of the hotel you were staying in and knew that you didn't return to the hotel the night Song Fei disappeared."
"I said that on purpose to make Mu Mian misunderstand that you stayed in my room that night."
Han Zhan looked down at the pale Song Ci and pointedly addressed her current predicament. "Song Ci, you're too inexperienced. You're no match for Mu Mian. You left too many clues when you secretly transported Song Fei away. If Mu Mian can figure this out, he'll also be able to understand the true story behind Song Fei's disappearance."
Song Ci's legs felt a little weak.
She asked Han Zhan: "Do you know how Song Fei got lost?"
"I had someone check the surveillance footage at Xiguang Sanatorium. On the night Song Fei disappeared, there was a power outage for half an hour around 8:00 PM. You took Song Fei away during that short period of time, then disguised yourself as Song Fei and lay in the hospital bed."
"You have an accomplice, the water delivery man. But I guess that water delivery man must be someone you trust, not an employee of the water delivery company."
Han Zhan leaned over and stared closely at Song Ci's eyes, which were trembling with fear. He asked for confirmation, "Is my analysis correct?"
Song Ci's legs went weak and she almost fell down.
Han Zhan hugged her.
"Don't be afraid."
