His schedule was fully scheduled every day, so Su Beibei was very surprised to see the boy, who was supposed to be concentrating on studying in New York, appear at the door of her coffee shop in the wind and snow.
Noland walked into the house against the wind and snow, handed a birthday present to Su Beibei, and said to her, "Belle, happy birthday to you."
Su Beibei was shocked.
She held the small box and asked Noland, "Why are you here?"
Noland said, "Happy birthday to you."
Su Beibei was somewhat moved. She looked at the heavy snow outside and said, "It's snowing so heavily in Wangdong City that all flights have been grounded. How did you get here?"
Noland actually said, "I flew to Junyang City first, and then took the high-speed rail here." Noland poked his hand and asked her, "Won't you make me a cup of coffee?"
Su Beibei made a cup of coffee for the boy and added a few sugar cubes.
The boy drank his coffee, checked the time, and said to her at the last second of her birthday, "Happy birthday, Belle."
Su Beibei's eyes turned red with emotion.
"I have to go, or I'll miss my flight, Belle. I hope you like the gift."
The young man came in the snow and left in the snow.
It was also in the late summer and early autumn of that year that Su Beibei met Li Li.
If you count carefully, Su Beibei and Noland have not seen each other for almost four years, but the boy who looked very young has grown into a charming man.
When Noland heard the familiar "little kid," he told Su Beibei very seriously, "I'm 21 years old now. I'm not a kid anymore. I'm a national idol now, and I'm of legal marriageable age."
Su Beibei said "oh" and then said, "child."
Noland looked discouraged.
Su Beibei smiled and suddenly called out, "Cong Nuo."
Noland was taken aback for a moment, then a brilliant smile spread across his deep, handsome face. "No one has called me by this name since my grandmother passed away." Noland's grandmother died when he was 14, and no one has called him by his Chinese name since then.
The door behind them opened. Li Ao stood in the crack of the door, looking curiously at the man in front of Su Beibei, and asked, "Mom, is Uncle Cong Nuo here?"
Noland took off his sunglasses, revealing a pair of emerald green eyes. He walked around Su Beibei's right side to her back, shook his head at Li Ao who was standing at the gate, and said, "Hello, Neil, I'm Cong Nuo."
"Hello, uncle." Li Ao stared at Noland's appearance and thought: Where did this god come from? He looks so handsome!
Su Beibei turned to Noland and said, "Come in. You're a celebrity now. It won't be good if someone sees you."
"good."
Noland was very tall, about 1.9 meters. He stood in front of the door and looked at the door frame to make sure he would not be hit on the head before striding into the house.
When the aunt saw that Su Beibei's friend was such a tall and handsome young man, her expression changed slightly and she didn't know what she was thinking.
After entering the house, Noland took out the car keys from his windbreaker pocket and said to Li Ao, "Uncle brought you a gift. It's in the trunk. Do you want to go and see it yourself?"
“Wow!”
Li Ao was not shy either. He took Noland's car keys and ran out.
Li Ao was still young and very short. Standing behind the back of the Mercedes-Benz off-road vehicle, he looked like a dwarf and had no way of opening the trunk.
Noland stood by the window and looked at him. Seeing Li Ao's deflated look, he couldn't help but shrug and laugh.
Su Beibei warned him: "Don't bully my son!"
Noland said, "Okay, don't bully him."
Noland walked out of the house, strode to the back of the car, opened the trunk, and carried out a large box.
After entering the house, Noland and Li Ao unpacked the box together. They found a children's balance car in the box, and Li Ao immediately cheered, "Wow, it's a balance car!"
Li Ao pulled the balance bike out of the box by himself. Noland helped him adjust the seat height and said to Li Ao, "Neil, sit on it and try it out."
Li Ao quickly lifted up his short legs and sat on it.
The seat was lowered to its lowest position, which was just right for Li Ao to ride. He sat on the balance bike, holding the handlebars with both hands, and looked up to ask Noland: "How did you know I wanted a balance bike?"
Noland said, "I saw your mother's WeChat. She sent a video of you standing in the park watching a kid riding a balance bike yesterday."
Noland patted Li Ao's head and said, "Isn't uncle very smart? Did he guess what you were thinking?"
Li Ao nodded.
Noland put a helmet on Li Ao and said to him, "Ride your bike by yourself. A man shouldn't be afraid of falling."
"good!"
Li Ao rode the bike around the small living room a few times, then went to the kitchen door and showed off his new treasure to Su Beibei. "Mom, look, this is the balance bike my uncle bought me."
Su Beibei pretended to smile, "Well, have you thanked uncle?"
Li Ao shouted to Noland: "Thank you, Uncle Cong Nuo."
"You're welcome."
Noland was a public figure, so it was inconvenient for him to take Li Ao out for a bike ride, so he just played with him in the living room. While cooking hot pot, Auntie looked at the two people in the living room, one big and one small, and felt something was wrong.
She felt that this foreigner was trying to please Li Ao.
Why should I try to please Li Ao?
The aunt stared at Su Beibei who was cutting beef beside her. Looking at Su Beibei's beautiful, young and sexy figure, she immediately guessed a possibility.
The aunt couldn't ask too directly, nor could she interfere too much in her master's affairs. She asked indirectly: "Beibei, that Nuo..." She didn't know the young man's name.
