Han Jun sat in front of the player in silence, not responding to the rotten-faced man's words. After a moment, Han Jun replied coldly, "Got it, we can return home."
"Yes, miss."
Han Jun took the initiative to cut off the call.
She turned around and calmly looked at the four adults standing behind her. Li Li and Su Beibei were already covering their faces and sobbing softly. Han Zhan squinted at the surveillance camera with a rather complicated expression.
Tears glistened in Song Ci's eyes. She stared at the two ignorant teenagers in the surveillance camera, not knowing what she was thinking. After a moment, she cast a complicated gaze on Han Jun.
Han Jun subconsciously sat up straight, meeting Song Ci's gaze with a nervous expression.
Will her mother blame her for being too cruel?
Song Ci originally thought that Han Jun's move was too dangerous. If he was not careful, Han Miao and Li Ao might be injured.
But when she saw Han Jun so nervous that even her breathing became slow, she realized that Han Jun was not as calm and confident about the matter as she appeared, and was actually worried about the situation of Han Miao and Li Ao, so she softened her heart again.
Song Ci walked over and touched Han Jun's head. She said, "Next time, don't put your loved ones in such a dangerous situation. Do you understand, Junjun?"
Han Jun nodded seriously.
She hesitated for a moment before she reached out and hugged Song Ci's waist. She buried her face in Song Ci's arms and murmured in confusion, "Mom, will Miaomiao still care about me?"
Song Ci felt distressed. She stroked Han Jun's little head and said to her, "You are sisters, blood is thicker than water. She will understand your good intentions."
"Um."
-
On the boundless ocean, the drifting ship received the order from its owner and began to return to the shore.
After Han Jun hung up the phone on the rotten-faced man, he lowered the hand holding the phone, raised his head and looked at Han Miao and Li Ao.
To achieve the most realistic effect, the security guard's kick and the man with the rotten face's step on Han Miao's back were both delivered with full force. At this moment, the bodyguard had carefully helped the two men up and was calling for a doctor to come and examine them.
The man with the rotten face said to Han Miao, "I'm sorry, I stepped a little too hard just now."
Han Miao looked at the man with the rotten face with a gloomy expression.
Han Miao and Li Ao had seen everything that the rotten-faced man was doing when he was on the phone. When Han Miao heard him address the person on the other end of the line as "Miss", she vaguely guessed the truth.
Han Miao endured the pain in his back, turned his head to look at the five smiling young men and women behind him, and asked suspiciously, "Are you actors?"
The man with the rotten face spoke up for them, "They are the best students at the Central Academy of Drama."
Han Miao's eyelids twitched at this answer, her suspicions confirmed. She stared blankly at the man with the rotten face, carefully examining his face several times before saying, "Your face is fake, too."
The man with the rotten face nodded.
Then, under the gaze of Han Miao and Li Ao, the man's fingers fumbled around the collarbone for a while and really uncovered a realistic fake face prop.
Under the props, the man looks decent. Although he is not very handsome, he is a man with righteous eyes and eyebrows.
Han Miao stared at the man, feeling vaguely familiar. She searched her memory and finally figured out his identity. Her eyes widened, she pointed at the man's face, and exclaimed, "Are you Uncle Long's adopted son, Long Yang?"
Long Yang, an orphan adopted by Long Yu years ago, was Han Jun's personal bodyguard, appearing only when Han Jun was in the most danger. Han Miao was unfamiliar with Long Yang, having only met him once, two years ago, so she didn't suspect anything when she heard his voice.
Long Yang nodded, staring at Han Miao's back with a guilty look, and asked, "Miss, does your back still hurt?"
As soon as he mentioned the back, Han Miao felt so painful that he could hardly bear it.
Han Miao didn't answer Long Yang's question, but pointed out expressionlessly, "This is a play. You are the lead actor, and they are all important supporting roles. The director is Han Jun, right?"
Long Yang hesitated before answering the question irrelevantly, "Miss, this is also for his own good." Long Yang stared at the pale Li Ao who was injured by the bodyguard's kick earlier. Li Ao was leaning against the wall, his cheeks pale and his eyes still red.
I don’t know whether I was crying or angry.
Seeing Long Yang looking at him, Li Ao raised his head and looked at Long Yang's face for a while before he uttered a hoarse voice: "Thank you, thank you." He said thank you to the person who hurt and deceived him, because he felt that compared to the pain of this kick, being able to speak again was more important than anything else.
Unexpectedly, Li Ao would actually thank him. After a brief moment of surprise, Long Yang said, "I'm sorry for hurting you."
Li Ao shook his head again.
Han Miao glared at Li Ao and yelled at him: "Why thank him! They conspired to cheat us and kicked you so hard! Neil, don't say thank you to them!" Seeing Li Ao saying thank you to Long Yang and the others, Han Miao felt sorry for Li Ao.
Li Ao’s ribs were probably about to be broken by the bodyguard’s kick, but he actually opened his mouth to say thank you to them!
Big fool!
She felt both distressed and angry.
How could Han Miao not be angry?
Even if Han Jun wanted to force Li Ao to speak, there was no need to act out such a scary scene! These people's acting was so realistic that Han Miao didn't realize they were acting before.
She really thought that those rude people had been thrown into the sea to feed the sharks, and she really thought that she and Li Ao would die there. Now, everything has taken a turn, everything is just a show, Li Ao can speak, but Han Miao is not happy.
