"My mother was saved by the master who presided over her soul. I think she will be reborn in a good life. She will marry a promising man, give birth to a filial and capable son, and then marry a virtuous daughter-in-law. In short, she will no longer meet a son like me who always goes against her."
After saying that, Li Li walked up to Su Beibei, looked at her quietly, and said, "I have been fasting and chanting for half a month to pray for my mother's soul-returning. This can be considered as making up for the guilt I felt towards her."
Su Beibei nodded and said indifferently, "Very good."
Su Beibei turned around and was about to go into the house, but Li Li grabbed her wrist.
Su Beibei looked back at him, a little surprised, "What are you doing?"
Li Li asked humbly, "What can I do to mend your heart that I have broken?"
Su Beibei was surprised to hear these words from Li Li's mouth.
She didn't tell Li Li the answer because she didn't know how to mend her broken heart.
Hurt is hurt, and nothing can make up for it.
Su Beibei pulled Li Li's hand away and went back to the house. After returning to the house, she entered the room, turned on the computer and stared blankly at a script she was writing.
She sat in front of the computer for half an hour without typing a single word.
Su Beibei slammed the computer shut, fell onto the bed, and cursed softly: "You bastard! Do you think you're worth a fortune? Or RMB? I have to forgive you if you admit your mistake?"
Su Beibei covered her cheeks with the pillow, opened her mouth and bit the down pillow, as if she was biting Li Li's neck.
Li Li shamelessly stayed at Su Beibei's house for dinner. While eating, he held a small notebook in his left hand and a pen in his right hand, as if he was taking notes.
Li Ao asked him, "Dad, what are you doing?"
Li Li said, "I'm recording Neil's favorite dishes, his most hated dishes, and his inability to eat any dishes."
Li Ao's eyes lit up slightly, and he spoke like a bamboo tube pouring beans, "I like the stewed beef brisket made by my mother the most, and I hate tofu the most. I can't eat seafood, and I hate drinking apple juice the most..."
Su Beibei walked out of the room and saw Li Li writing something quickly. She pulled a stool and sat down, sneering, "Hypocritical."
Li Li glanced at her, said nothing, and lowered his head to continue writing.
Su Beibei continued to laugh at him, "Why are you pretending? You wrote it today and you'll forget it tomorrow."
Li Li knew that Su Beibei was angry, but he didn't say anything. He still sat in his seat with a thick face and wrote down every word that Li Ao had just said.
Seeing that Li Li didn't react at all, Su Beibei frowned and wondered if this man was possessed by a ghost. Why did he look so different?
After dinner, Li Li had no plans to leave.
Li Ao needed to poop, so he went to the toilet. Su Beibei waited for Li Ao to enter the toilet, then immediately said to Li Li, "It's getting dark, you should go back."
Li Li said, "I just arrived in Los Angeles today and don't have a place to stay yet."
Su Beibei felt like she was being laughed at. "You're the Vice President of Zeus International, how could you possibly be without a place to stay?" He probably already had a house bought, in the most expensive area.
Li Li said frankly: "My purpose in coming here this time is to get you and your son back. Naturally, I will do everything I can to sleep at your place. I'd be a fool to book a hotel."
Su Beibei: “…”
She gave Li Li a rather strange look and suddenly asked, "How many moles do I have on my butt?"
Li Li didn't even think about it and said subconsciously, "You don't have a mole on your butt, but there is a red one at the base of your leg." He didn't know what image he was thinking of, his eyes suddenly became dark, and he added, "It's light red when it's not touched, but it will turn crimson if you touch it a few times."
Su Beibei:!
She glared at Li Li and said, "I didn't tell you to say that!"
Li Li quickly closed his mouth, but his eyes secretly looked in a direction he shouldn't have.
This person is Li Li, not a monster transformed from a demon.
But Li Li shouldn't be like this.
Su Beibei went to the bar to make herself coffee. Li Ao finished pooping and shouted in the bathroom, asking Su Beibei to wipe his butt.
"I'll go wipe his butt!" Su Beibei was about to go when she saw Li Li took two pieces of paper and rushed into the bathroom like the wind.
The father and son washed their hands and walked out of the bathroom. Su Beibei sneered at Li Li and said, "The last time you wiped Neil's poop was when I was in confinement after giving birth."
If it were in the past, Li Li would have shown an annoyed expression when hearing such words, and then found a perfect excuse for him, such as "I'm busy with work" or "Isn't there an aunt at home?"
But this time, when Li Li heard Su Beibei's words, he did not refute her normally. He lowered his head and thought seriously for a while, then admitted his mistake in a good manner, saying, "I am not a qualified father. I don't care enough for Li Ao, and I am not considerate enough for you."
His chin was almost hidden in his collar, and his tone was even more humble, "It's my fault, you have the right to divorce me, it's all my fault, I deserve to be divorced..."
Hearing Li Li's words, Su Beibei's eyes became horrified.
Is this person possessed by someone?
She looked at her watch again and felt that it was time for Li Li to leave, so she opened the door and ordered Li Li to leave with an expressionless face, "Please go back. My temple is too small to accommodate a big Buddha like you."
Li Li's eyes grew dim.
He gently squeezed Li Ao's hand, then squatted down and said to Li Ao, "Neil, you told me this afternoon that you are very afraid of the snow monster when you go to bed at night, right?"
Li Ao was bewildered.
What's a snow monster?
