Chapter 392 Jiang Ge returns and takes the lead

The first floor was uninhabited, and inside it stood a statue of the Bodhisattva. When Han Wangwang and Jiang Zhen entered the room, three wisps of incense were rising from the statue.

Liu Chang took Han Wangwang and Jiang Zhen to the second floor, where they lived. In the spacious living room, there was a solid wood sofa set, opposite a TV, and on the left side of the table were portraits of the deceased Liu Qing and his parents.

Han Wangwang stared at Liu Qing's portrait and looked at the girl carefully.

In the photo, Liu Qing has black hair that falls below her shoulders and delicate features. She smiles generously at the camera, like a female weather forecast announcer on TV, with the style of a host.

Han Wangwang felt sorry that such a young girl passed away like this.

The old man came out of the kitchen carrying two cups of tea. He placed them on the table in front of Han Wangwang and Jiang Zhen. Then, looking at his granddaughter's portrait, he said with a bitter smile, "Qingqing is pretty, she takes after her mother. Her brother takes after my son, he's not very good-looking."

Han Wangwang glanced at Liu Chang's younger brother. Liu Chang also had thick eyebrows and big eyes, and was not ugly, but compared with his bright and beautiful sister, he was indeed a step behind.

The younger brother was seventeen years old and was a proud young man. He knew that the lawyer was suing for his sister and to uphold justice, so he restrained his arrogance.

Han Wangwang looked at the plaster on the boy's arm and asked, "Was your arm also cast by Gu Qinchuan's people?"

"Yeah, his bodyguards beat me up." The younger brother curled his lips and said indignantly, "It was obviously him who bullied my sister. They beat me up and falsely accused me of being a stalker fan, saying that I was following him every day and even wanted to call the police to arrest me."

Liu Chang was still a young boy after all. When he talked about what happened that day and thought of his sister's death, he couldn't help feeling aggrieved, and his eyes turned red.

Han Wangwang did not comfort him, and comfort would be useless.

The old man was in no mood to comfort his grandson. He just stared at Han Wangwang and asked eagerly, "Lawyer Han, why did you drive here so late? Do you have any clues?" He expected Han Wangwang to bring him good news.

Han Wangwang felt a pang of discomfort as she gazed into the old man's bright, blazing eyes. Jiang Zhen sat quietly beside Han Wangwang, aware of her distress but unwilling to offer any words to help.

As a lawyer, how to communicate with your client is also a science.

Jiang Zhen didn't intend to help her.

Seeing that Jiang Zhen refused to help him, Han Wangwang had no choice but to do it himself.

She grabbed the teacup on the table in front of her and looked at Mr. Liu with hesitation. "Grandpa, I came here tonight because I have something I want to discuss with you."

Old Master Liu was disturbed by her hesitation and became nervous. He asked anxiously, "What's the matter? Lawyer Han, just tell me directly. I'm just an old man and I don't understand."

Han Wangwang glanced at the old man, then at the young man staring at her eagerly. She gritted her teeth and said, "Gu Qinchuan has a huge background. Without absolute evidence to accuse him, we can't touch him."

The old man and the young Liu Chang both nodded vigorously. "So, what should we do?"

Han Wangwang added, "At the moment, we do have a piece of evidence that can nail him down: the child in Liu Qing's belly. I want to do a DNA test on that child. If the child's DNA shows that he's related to Gu Qinchuan, then even if Gu Qinchuan has wings, he won't be able to escape the iron net of the law!"

The old man understood what Han Wangwang meant, but he said stupidly, "But the child is in my granddaughter's belly, and she's already buried. How can I check it?" He obviously didn't understand what Han Wangwang really meant.

However, the young man next to him understood what Han Wangwang meant. His legs went limp and he fell down beside the coffee table.

Liu Chang leaned on the table, looked up at Han Wangwang, and asked with red eyes, "You want us to dig my sister out of the grave and perform an autopsy on her?"

Upon hearing this, Mr. Liu's eyes widened and he almost fainted.

"Old man!" Han Wangwang and Jiang Zhen hurriedly stood up and supported the old man.

Old Master Liu leaned on Jiang Zhen's arms. He looked at Han Wangwang and couldn't help but burst into tears. "My granddaughter, my poor granddaughter!"

"Is it so difficult to seek justice for my granddaughter?" Old Man Liu was heartbroken. He said, "My granddaughter died a pitiful death. She can't even rest in peace after death. Digging up her grave, digging up her grave, will only get you struck by lightning!"

Old Master Liu disagreed in his heart. He would never allow anyone to dig his poor granddaughter out of the grave and open her stomach for an autopsy!

Isn’t that damnation?

Liu Chang clenched his fists, looked up, and asked Han Wangwang, "Lawyer Han, if we agree to an autopsy, and if the evidence is conclusive, you..."

Liu Chang's tears slid down his cheeks and into his neck, soaking his T-shirt. But he stared at Han Wangwang and asked through gritted teeth, "Can you seek justice for our sister?"

Han Wangwang nodded. "I swear, if the evidence is conclusive, I will make sure Gu Qinchuan is punished by law!"

After receiving Han Wangwang's assurance, Liu Chang lowered his eyes to look at his grief-stricken grandfather. He stiffened his neck and said, "Grandpa, my sister can't die in such an unclear way and be insulted by those people after death! We should agree to an autopsy! We need justice for her!"

Old Master Liu scolded him angrily: "You bastard! Your sister has already been buried, digging her grave? Digging a grave is ridiculous!"

"So she deserves to be cursed by thousands of people after her death? And the real murderer is still at large, still planning concerts and filming variety shows, and being called "brother" by a group of young girls holding signs?"
