This is a rough, moss-covered boulder. How could a boulder be an entrance?
The soldiers present had strange expressions, half in disbelief, half in astonishment at being tricked, and a hint of anger.
Really?
Did the big boss they admire fool them?
For a moment, no one spoke, and the atmosphere suddenly became awkward.
Li Ze, who caused this, seemed completely unaware of it. He walked to the boulder, gently placed his hands on it, and remained expressionless on his delicate and handsome face.
"What are you doing?" the soldier asked.
"Open the door." Li Ze didn't even glance at the other party. In a place unseen by the naked eye, black demonic energy, like thousands of sharp thorns, pierced into the boulder in front of him.
Unable to see what was happening, the soldier suppressed the urge to curse and forced an awkward smile. "Are you sure you're opening the door?"
No sooner had the soldier finished speaking than the seemingly heavy and solid boulder covered in moss suddenly cracked open in a net-like pattern, producing a series of sharp, cracking sounds that reached the ears of everyone present—abrupt yet beautiful.
They were stunned. How did they manage to do that?
However, no one answered them.
The boulder split open, and the door hidden within it also split open, revealing an entrance that extended downwards.
"There really is a way," the soldiers murmured.
Ignoring the people behind him, Li Ze took the lead and walked down the entrance.
There were no stairs or elevators; it was a very steep slope. Yet, Li Ze moved forward with ease, as if walking on flat ground, at an extremely fast pace.
Just then, a sharp, piercing alarm suddenly sounded, and the quiet underground experimental base instantly became lively.
"Be careful yourselves!" After saying that, Li Ze disappeared from the sight of the soldiers in a flash.
The soldiers were stunned for a moment when they saw this, and the leader quickly said, "Put on your blast suits."
"Yes, sir." The soldiers quickly put on their bomb suits.
Just then, the people inside rushed out.
Meanwhile, those in the warehouse were dozing off, but those who were barely holding on heard the explosion and suddenly snapped awake, shouting, "Wake up! Someone's coming to rescue us!"
The military cadets had all received training in resisting sedatives, but unfortunately, the sedatives here were very potent, and they had been starving for several days. Even though they knew someone was coming to rescue them, they couldn't even open their eyes despite their best efforts.
bump!
A loud bang shook the entire door.
Someone really came to rescue them!
The dozen or so teachers were overjoyed. They struggled to their feet, staggered to the back of the door, and dragged the students away one by one, worried that the door might hit them.
Outside the door, Li Ze kicked the heavy, smooth door—made of some unknown material—one kick after another.
The commotion was quite loud and quickly attracted people's attention.
But Li Ze didn't even glance at them. Before they even got close, he used his demonic energy to transform into sharp blades and controlled them to fly towards the charging sentries, severing their airways.
Without even exchanging a single glance, dozens, even hundreds, of sentries were instantly lifeless, dead beyond any doubt.
This bizarre and terrifying scene caught the attention of those behind, who immediately stopped in their tracks, frozen in place, and dared not move forward any further.
"What happened?" a sentry asked in a trembling voice. He looked at the necks of the people in front of him. There were no weapons, but there were finger-width wounds there, and blood was gushing out, quickly staining the ground red.
"I don't know," someone said in a deep voice.
"Try a ranged attack," someone suggested.
The next second, gun barrels and cannon barrels were all pointed in that direction.
"emission!"
However, what happened next was something that shocked them. There was nothing there, but their bullets and artillery fire seemed to encounter some kind of obstacle and stopped there, unable to advance even an inch.
not good!
"Run!"
The sentries immediately turned and ran back the way they came.
Boom—
The flames engulfed the fleeing sentries in an instant.
At the same time, the entire base also shook.
But it only shook and did not collapse.
Inside the warehouse, the teachers were so shocked that they fell to the ground.
Some of the students who were in a coma began to slowly wake up.
"Get up quickly! Someone's coming to rescue us! Wake up the other students!" the teacher instructed again.
So the students who woke up first started shaking the people next to them. If they couldn't be shaken up, they would hit them or bite them. They used all sorts of tricks and went to great lengths to wake them up.
Outside the door, Li Ze's face began to turn pale, and the demonic energy in his body was rapidly dissipating. Even though he kept absorbing the evil energy here, he was still in a state of being unable to make ends meet.
We need to speed things up!
Li Ze gritted his teeth, put his leg down, enveloped his fist with demonic energy, and with a loud shout, slammed his slender, fair fist into the already cracked door.
Click—
A crisp sound.
It was like beautiful celestial music that reached the ears of the students and teachers in the warehouse.
Then, another powerful punch shattered the crumbling door, sending it flying into countless pieces.
At that moment, the students and teachers saw the people outside the door.
A boss with an icy, aloof expression!
Everyone wore expressions of "I knew it!" Who else but the big boss could have rescued them in such a short time?
Compared to the students' and teachers' calm demeanor, Li Ze seemed startled. Suddenly, he saw over two thousand naked people, both men and women, appearing in his field of vision.
