When He Xingjue, armed and piloting his mech, arrived, he saw Li Ze seemingly courting death, heading straight for the warship.
At that moment, he felt his heart clench suddenly, and a great fear surged through his soul.
"Li Ze, retreat!" He Xingjue's voice ripped through the air—
However, after switching to a different mech, the two mechs did not connect on the same channel, so Li Ze did not hear He Xingjue's words, and even if he did, he probably wouldn't listen.

"Damn it, get out of the way! He's trying to take us all down with him!" the pirate leader shouted in a panic.
"Yes, leader!" The space pirates below were also anxious.
"Oh no, he's here!"
"Quick, get out of the way!"
Inside the warship, the leader's desperate voice echoed in every corner.
They were moving too fast; they couldn't dodge it at all.
The next second, the booming sounds intensified and merged into one, igniting the entire sky with artillery fire. Flames filled the air, and what appeared to be the burning remains of mechs or warships were burning and crashing.
In this extremely dangerous moment, while everyone else was fleeing, only one white mech charged straight into the sea of fire, carrying with it a resolute determination.
Li Ze, wait for me!
He Xingjue gritted his teeth and swallowed the metallic taste in his throat.
Li Ze realized that he had underestimated the power of the hundreds of shells exploding at the same time. He covered the mecha with layer after layer of demonic energy, almost using up all the demonic energy in his demonic core!
But the energy wave from the exploding shell still broke through his demonic energy and rushed towards his mech.
At the critical moment, Li Ze hid in the rest pod.
The rest pod, also known as the escape pod, is made of materials almost identical to those used in mecha warships and can exist independently in the starry sky.

The mech was torn to pieces, flames erupted, and the escape pod was charred and deformed, falling straight to the ground.

Li Ze gritted his teeth, intending to extract the demonic energy from the demonic core again and use it to protect the escape pod.

He carried the escape pod all the way back to the starport. After landing at the starport, he carefully placed the escape pod on the ground, and the next second, he was outside as well.
Li Ze was about to open the escape pod himself when He Xingjue opened it first.
Under Li Ze's surprised gaze, He Xingjue scooped Li Ze out of the escape pod.
It must be that He Xingjue's expression was too anxious, causing him to forget to resist.
How could a grown man let someone else hug him!
Li Ze's expression was somewhat unnatural.

That's not actually the case. With his meticulous mind, even if he didn't remember the moment he exited the mecha, he should have remembered when he saw the charred outer shell of the escape pod.
He just wanted Li Ze to feel sorry for him.
Now it seems the outcome was as he predicted.
He Xingjue, you are truly despicable!
"Where's the medicine? Where is it?" Li Ze asked anxiously, his brows furrowing as he looked at He Xingjue's scalded hands.
“I have it in my spatial storage.” He Xingjue took the medicine out of his spatial storage, looking troubled. “But I might need you to help me apply it.”
