After Li Ze and He Xingjue bought the aircraft, they piloted the mecha back to Vermilion Bird Star through the warp portal that same day. Upon exiting the warp portal, they attracted countless stares.
"Are you alright?" a soldier asked Li Ze with concern.
"I'm fine," Li Ze said earnestly, bidding farewell to He Xingjue and the soldiers before boarding their newly purchased aircraft.
More than ten days have passed, and the appearance of Vermilion Bird Star has changed dramatically. The ruins have been mostly cleared, and many new houses have been built.
The speed was so fast that Li Ze was amazed.
"Come on, I'll show you around." Li Ze helped He Xingjue fasten his seatbelt, then started the aircraft and flew it at low altitude to absorb the dense baleful energy in the air.
The concentration of malevolent energy is extremely high right after a battle, which is why Li Ze chose to return to Vermilion Bird Star.
While absorbing the malevolent energy, Li Ze tried to introduce it into He Xingjue's body. As soon as the malevolent energy entered his body, He Xingjue's face showed a painful expression, and his body involuntarily convulsed as he struggled to get up from his seat.

"Demonic energy won't work either." Li Ze's voice sounded slightly frustrated. "Do you need spiritual energy instead?"
Li Ze is a demon and has no affinity for spiritual energy, making it extremely difficult for him to capture spiritual energy from the air.
“But it’s not impossible. When I have some free time, I’ll help you capture spiritual energy.” Li Ze assured him, “Even if you don’t react to spiritual energy in the end, I’ll take your soul back to the Demon Realm, find you a body, and teach you to cultivate. "Well done," Li Ze praised, adding, "I'm going back to stay tonight, so have the housekeeping robot clean out a room for me."
"You're back?" Chen Kaiyang asked, somewhat surprised.
"Yes, I'm back. It should take about half an hour."
"So fast! I'll go arrange it right away."
The aircraft flew directly to the villa in front of the manor. The villa was brightly lit, and Chen Kaiyang, Wang Duan, and Xu Zhou immediately went to greet it as soon as they saw it.
Li Ze got off the aircraft first, and then led He Xingjue down with him.
Seeing He Xingjue, Chen Kaiyang and the other two were not surprised at all, but their eyes unconsciously glanced at He Xingjue.
"Would you like to eat something first, or wash up first?" Chen Kaiyang led Li Ze into the villa.

"The food was ordered from the restaurant and it won't arrive for another ten minutes. Would you like to go upstairs and tour your room first?" Chen Kaiyang asked.
Li Ze hummed in agreement. "What happened to the things in the old house?"
"It's a storage room on the first floor. The house was bombed, and some of the belongings were destroyed. Would you like to see it?"
"Need not."
"Your room is just ahead. Please take a look and let me know if there's anything you need."

Li Ze and He Xingjue went into the room, while Chen Kaiyang went downstairs again.
The room is very large, easily over 100 square meters. Upon entering, there are two gaming pods, followed by a double sofa, and then a nearly three-meter-long bed. On the other side of the bed is an open walk-in closet, which is fully stocked with clothes.
Li Ze raised an eyebrow. These clothes were actually in two sizes, arranged clearly separately.
Li Ze gained a new appreciation for Chen Kaiyang's thoughtfulness.
Li Ze looked around the room, and He Xingjue followed closely the whole time. When Li Ze stopped, He Xingjue would often bump into Li Ze's back because he couldn't stop in time.
Fortunately, Li Ze was very steady; despite all the collisions, he never knocked Li Ze down.
For example, this time, Li Ze frowned at the large bed, and He Xingjue bumped into him again. Where Li Ze couldn't see, He Xingjue blinked, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. But this hint of doubt was fleeting, and he quickly returned to his blank, empty expression.
“There’s only one large bed,” Li Ze said.
