Two months ago, the space pirates joined forces with the Empire and the Federation to attack the Void Beasts. The timing matched up, so the aunt had no doubts. She looked at Li Ze with even more affection, but she still asked curiously, "Chief Els is on Star 1. How did you end up on Star 3?"
Li Ze lowered his head even further, "...My house was robbed."
"Oh dear, poor child." The aunt wanted to hug Li Ze, but she held back. She thought to herself, "My brother used to be a pirate, so he must be well-off, and his house must be decent too. That's why he was robbed. If it were her family's small house, they wouldn't even want it if they gave it away."
Li Ze pursed his lips and took out two boxes each of wound medicine, anti-inflammatory medicine, and fever reducer. "I'd like to exchange some money and a few cakes with you."
When the aunt saw the spatial button in Li Ze's hand, her eyes changed, and she whispered, "You have to hide this well, or someone might steal it."
This is a good thing, and she wants it too, but on the one hand, she can't bring herself to take it, and on the other hand, she knows she can't protect it and would only bring disaster upon herself.
Li Ze hummed in agreement, "Thank you for reminding me."
"Oh, you're too kind," the woman said with a smile. "How about this, I'll give you twenty cakes, two gold coins, and fifty silver coins. Is that alright?"
"Okay. Thank you." Li Ze thanked him again.
After exchanging the cakes, gold coins, and silver coins, Li Ze continued walking towards the city.
The concentration of malevolent energy on Planet 3 was only slightly less than that of the Exile Starfield. As Li Ze walked, he absorbed the malevolent energy, his brows furrowed with ease and contentment.
However, his relaxed and carefree state was soon interrupted.
He was walking in the crowd when suddenly two men grabbed his arms.
“Come with us.” The man’s tone was menacing.
Li Ze raised an eyebrow. What's going on?
"Don't make a sound, or else—" the man threatened, pressing a knife against Li Ze's abdomen. If Li Ze didn't cooperate, the knife would be plunged into his stomach.
Li Ze didn't say anything and obediently let them lead him away.
The two men led Li Ze, turning east and west along the bustling streets, choosing secluded spots along the way, until they reached a deserted alley.
They kicked open the door of a warehouse-like building, pushed Li Ze inside, followed them in, and closed the door behind them.
The warehouse lights were turned on, and only then did Li Ze notice the appearance of the two men. Both were about 1.8 meters tall, with lean bodies and plain features, and a somewhat shifty look.
However, Li Ze felt that this was probably a case of appearance reflecting one's inner state.
"Chief Zhang is getting stricter and stricter these days. He used to forbid people from killing people, but now he's cracking down on things like stealing and robbing," one of the men complained.
"Take it or leave it, it's no problem for us." The other one looked indifferent and turned to face Li Ze. "If you know what's good for you, hand over what you have."
"Will you let me go if I hand it over?" Li Ze asked.
“Of course not,” the man blurted out, explaining, “If you hand it over, you can avoid a beating.”
"Hmm, this kid has some nice eyes. Killing him directly would be a waste, maybe we should sell him?"
"That's true, her eyes are beautiful. If she had a pretty face, she could probably sell for a lot of gold coins. Sigh, take off your mask."
Two men stood in front of Li Ze, staring intently at his small face.
Li Ze looked up, meeting their gazes without flinching, and said calmly, "You want to steal my things, and you also want to kill me, or sell me?"
“Yes.” The two men said in unison, “What, you have a problem with that? If you have a problem, then eat a few more bowls of rice, and come back to us when you’re stronger.”
The man's tone was disdainful.
They wandered the streets and knew at a glance that the "ring" on the boy's hand was very valuable. But to their surprise, it was not a ring at all, but a spatial button!
That's a space button! The smallest space button on Star 3 costs over 100,000 gold coins!
With a chance to make a fortune right in front of them, they certainly wouldn't miss it.
Not to mention that this boy looked thin and weak, and had no fighting ability whatsoever; taking him down would be effortless.
The two bandits, who were used to killing and robbing, didn't take Li Ze seriously at all.
Similarly, Li Ze didn't take them seriously either. He said in a serious tone, "You were the ones who did evil first, so you can't blame me."
Upon hearing Li Ze's words, the two men instinctively wanted to burst into laughter, but the next second, their expressions froze on their faces.
Two sharp cracking sounds overlapped as Li Ze snapped their necks simultaneously. The speed was so fast that they had no chance to react.
With two thuds, the two men fell to the ground, their eyes wide open in death.
Looking down at the two men lying on the ground, Li Ze took out a long knife from his spatial storage, used the tip of the knife to cut open the pockets of their clothes and pants, and used the tip of the knife to pick out the items from their pockets.
"Is that all?" Li Ze frowned as he looked at the dozen or so gold coins and dozens of silver coins. "Is business that bad?"
It has to be said, Li Ze was right.
Since their acts of theft, murder, and robbery on Planet 3, the two men's voices have become much weaker. Furthermore, their expenses are high, and they have virtually no savings.
Li Ze accepted the dozen or so gold coins and several dozen silver coins, calmly left the warehouse, and considerately closed the warehouse door behind him.
After walking through the winding alleys, Li Ze returned to the street.
He wasn't in a hurry to go to Planet 1, so he didn't go to the starport.
Since we've come all this way, we should naturally absorb all the evil energy here before leaving.
So Li Ze deliberately chose to walk in places with high concentrations of malevolent energy, and unknowingly, he came to a building that looked like a giant steel beast.
Above the main entrance of the building was a huge "fist" character, and inside, the place was bustling with noise and shouts.
Li Zeke is all too familiar with this kind of place!
He went inside almost without hesitation.
"The ticket costs five silver coins," the gatekeeper told Li Ze.
Li Ze paid the silver coins, and the gatekeeper let him through.
Li Ze released his divine sense, enveloping the entire building, while searching for an empty space.
Huh?
He raised an eyebrow; this was a boxing ring without any behind-the-scenes manipulation.
This surprised him.
Li Ze couldn't find a seat and could only stand around the arena. The battle on the stage was in full swing, but he wasn't interested.
Too weak!
He absorbed the malevolent energy while looking up at the text on the screen, muttering, "Winning a match will earn you a hundred star coins."
Li Ze's eyes lit up; he had found a way to make money.
Li Ze squeezed through the crowd and walked towards the registration point next to the competition platform. He placed ten silver coins on the table and said, "I want to participate in the competition."
The ten silver coins were the registration fee.
The man behind the table looked up at Li Ze. "You?"
