Strange boy

As the blood mist dissipated, Li Ze could see the situation clearly: one Golden Core cultivator and two Foundation Establishment cultivators were all dead.

His death was so sudden and abrupt that Li Ze couldn't even see how it happened.

Who did it?

Li Ze turned his head and looked around, and saw a tall and slender figure under a big tree not far away.

"Put your clothes on," the person in the back said, their voice magnetic yet tinged with aloofness and coldness.

The voice sounded familiar; it seemed to be Senior Brother Mo.

Li Ze felt a strange sense of relief, as if his heart had been at ease.

Could it be that he's heard the name "Senior Brother Mo" so many times that he can't help but trust this person?

Li Ze couldn't understand it.

He cast a cleansing spell on himself and changed into a brand new set of clothes. As for the set that the Golden Core cultivator had touched, he simply threw it away.

He glanced at the storage bags on the three rogue cultivators, and his stomach began to churn again.

"Senior Brother Mo, I'm all better," Li Ze called out to the retreating figure.

The man turned around and glanced at Li Ze with an emotionless look. "Take those people's storage bags and let's leave."

Li Ze hesitated for a moment, then picked up a branch from the ground and used it to pry the storage bags off the three rogue cultivators and string them onto the branch.

"Here you go." Li Ze held out the branch to Mo Xingjue.

Mo Xingjue didn't take it. "I don't want it."

“I don’t want it either,” Li Ze said seriously.

Mo Xingjue frowned slightly, then relaxed his grip. "Then throw it away."

Upon hearing this, Li Ze tossed the branches aside. The action was swift and decisive, without the slightest hesitation, as if they were not a few storage bags but filthy garbage.

"Can you still walk?" Mo Xingjue asked.

Li Ze took out a few pills and swallowed them, gritting his teeth inwardly, "Okay."

Mo Xingjue glanced at him and said, "Follow me."

Mo Xingjue wasn't moving very fast, and Li Ze followed behind him, about three steps away. Along the way, Mo Xingjue would stop from time to time to pick spiritual herbs and fruits, and Li Ze would take the opportunity to rest. Before they knew it, it was getting dark.

Mo Xingjue chose a cave, killed the third-tier demon beast inside, and turned to Li Ze, saying, "Let's rest here tonight and continue our journey tomorrow."

Li Ze naturally had no objections and silently followed behind Mo Xingjue, helping him pick up the branches.

Once the fire was lit, Mo Xingjue closed his eyes and entered a meditative state, finally relaxing completely.

Once he relaxed, the dual fatigue of his body and mind overwhelmed him. He yawned, curled up, and fell asleep against the stone wall.

Perhaps due to the significant emotional fluctuations during the day, Li Ze had a rare dream.

"Aze, why haven't you come to find me yet?" In the dream, He Xingjue looked at Li Ze with an accusing expression.

Li Ze had a lot to say, but when he opened his mouth, no sound came out.

"Aze, if you don't come to find me soon, I'm not waiting for you anymore. I'm leaving." After saying that, He Xingjue turned around and walked away step by step.

Li Ze panicked. He reached out and desperately tried to grab He Xingjue, but he couldn't move and could only watch helplessly as the other walked away.

"Don't go—"

Li Ze suddenly opened his eyes, his breathing heaving, staring blankly at the fire in front of him, his heart feeling terribly empty...

It was all just a dream.

Li Ze blinked, belatedly realizing there was another person present. He glanced sharply at Mo Xingjue, and seeing that the other was still in a meditative state, he breathed a sigh of relief.

For some reason, he didn't want the other person to see him lose his composure again and again.

Li Ze quickly fell asleep again.

However, after he fell asleep, Mo Xingjue, who had been silent all along, opened his eyes, a hint of doubt flashing in his sharp gaze.

This boy is a bit strange.

He couldn't sense any spiritual energy fluctuations from the other person, but there was a strong malevolent aura. After the boy fell asleep, the surrounding malevolent aura gathered towards him, and after a night, the temperature dropped several degrees.

What kind of cultivation method is this? Is it a heretical practice?

Mo Xingjue didn't dwell on it for too long. It was simply because Li Ze's cultivation level was too low. Even if he was an evil cultivator, he was just a harmless assistant.

If the boy commits evil, he will end the matter with a single sword strike.

In the latter half of the night, the two remained peaceful, and Li Ze did not dream again, sleeping soundly until the sun was high in the sky.

Looking at the high sun, Li Ze blushed suspiciously on his delicate face. "Sorry, I overslept."

"It's alright, I'm not in a hurry to get going." Mo Xingjue was indeed not in a hurry to get going; he was grilling meat.

Li Ze focused his gaze on the fire, watching the sizzling, oily leg of the unknown monster, and couldn't help but swallow hard. "It smells so good!"

"The hind leg meat of a fourth-tier horned sheep is naturally quite delicious." Mo Xingjue said, taking out two sets of tableware from his storage bag and placing one set in front of Li Ze.

Li Ze took the tableware, thought for a moment, and then took out all the spiritual fruits he had picked in the past two days, filling a plate. "After eating the barbecue, let's have some fruit to cleanse our palates."

Mo Xingjue glanced at the spiritual fruits on the plate; the lowest grade was level three, and the highest was level five.

This Qi Refining stage cultivator is really generous!

Why refuse storage bags but take a whole plate of spiritual fruits? Is it because they don't care about material possessions, or are they simply wealthy?

A stunningly beautiful face appeared in Mo Xingjue's mind, and the other person was just as "generous".

However, given the opponent's strength, they would certainly not allow themselves to be bullied.

If that person is bullied...

He probably wouldn't be satisfied even if he ground those three rogue cultivators to dust!

Food can make people feel good, and after finishing a ham leg, Li Ze felt much better.

Mo Xingjue did not take the initiative to suggest that Li Ze not follow, so Li Ze also remained silent and followed behind.

He watched Mo Xingjue gather spiritual fruits and herbs, and watch Mo Xingjue kill demonic beasts, without doing anything or asking Mo Xingjue to share some of the spoils with him. Mo Xingjue didn't mention it either, as if he automatically ignored Li Ze behind him.

On this day, the level of the monsters they encountered became higher and higher, and they also encountered cultivators from other sects one after another.

Li Ze knew that they were getting closer and closer to the center of the secret realm.

"Senior Brother Mo, are you going to the central area?" Li Ze asked.

Mo Xingjue hummed in agreement.

“Going to the central area, I’m afraid I’ll become a burden to my senior brother,” Li Ze said. However, there was another possibility: the other party didn’t care about his life or death at all. In that case, there would be no question of being a burden.

To everyone's surprise, Mo Xingjue replied, "I know."

Li Ze wanted to roll his eyes, thinking to himself, "You know that, yet you still dragged me along."

"If you encounter any disciples of the Fengyang Sect, then go with them," Mo Xingjue said.

Upon hearing this, Li Ze felt a warmth in his heart, realizing that the other party had already made plans for him.

Not long after Mo Xingjue mentioned the people of Fengyang Sect, they encountered a team from Fengyang Sect. It was a small team of more than ten people who were being besieged by two fourth-tier demonic beasts.

Upon seeing Mo Xingjue, the people cried out in surprise, "Senior Brother Mo, help us!"
