Bai followed the fat old woman to a large house, where two guards were standing at the door.
Seeing the plump woman bring Bai Lan over, she smiled knowingly: "Oh, Sister Hua, the goods arrived so early in the morning? What good luck!"
It turned out the plump woman's name was Sister Hua. She stepped forward expressionlessly and said, "Open the door! Don't give me that frivolous look, get to work."
The two guards bowed and scraped, saying, "Yes! Yes!" as they opened the door.
Sister Hua turned to Bai Lan and said, "Go inside! Stay put and don't try anything funny."
Bai Lan silently walked inside, wondering if her sister was among those imprisoned.
Seeing that she was relatively honest, Sister Hua closed the door and left after the person went inside.
When Bai Lan went inside, she saw that the room was very large, about 100 square meters, and very spacious. There were people everywhere on the floor, some sitting and leaning against the wall, and some lying on the floor, with empty eyes.
Like a soulless doll.
Bai Lan walked over and looked at them one by one.
No, not a single one.
She forced herself to keep searching despite her heartache.
Finally, in the corner of the last row, I saw Bai Mei lying on the ground like a rag doll.
Bai Lan helped her sister up with heartache: "Sister! Wake up! Sister."
Bai Mei slowly opened her eyes upon hearing the familiar voice, and upon seeing the person in front of her, tears streamed down her face like a bursting flood.
Her lips trembled, and she couldn't utter a word.
She simply raised her hand, wanting to touch her face, but Bai Lan hugged her sister tightly, and the two of them wept silently.
Once they had calmed down a bit, the two began to talk.
The two huddled in a corner, speaking very softly.
“Sister, how did you get here? I thought you were dead, and there were still our parents…” Bai Mei trembled uncontrollably at the thought of that scene.
“Sister, our parents are gone. When I woke up, I was in a mass grave. I found a pit nearby and buried them. I even planted a cypress tree on top of it. I’ll take you back to pay your respects sometime.”
“I chopped off Bai Dagen’s hands and feet, and he probably doesn’t have much time left to live. I’ve avenged you.”
Bai Lan didn't want to talk about those cruel things, afraid of scaring her sister. It wouldn't be good if her sister, such a gentle and kind person, was frightened.
"Sister, this is not a good place, you should leave quickly."
"Sister! I'm not leaving. If you have to leave, we'll leave together." Bai Lan came here to rescue people, so she definitely wouldn't abandon them.
Now that we've found them, it's time to figure out a way to get them out of here.
Before she could come up with a solution, everyone in the room was drugged.
When Bai Lan awoke again, she and her sister had been separated and taken to a magnificent garden with exquisite clothes and delicious food.
She was given the medicine, and her whole body was limp and she had no strength. Two old women dragged her and threw her into the water to wash her clean.
Then she changed into a light and thin gauze dress.
All the money and sickle he was carrying were taken away.
Bai Lan supported herself and turned around the room, tentatively pushing open the door. There were many rooms like this, and she began to push open the doors one by one to search.
She quickly found her sister in another room. Instead of going back to her own room, she simply hid with her sister.
In the evening, someone brought food, just enough for one person. Bai Mei divided the food into two portions, and the two of them ate it together.
Not long after eating it, Bai Lan felt dizzy: "Sister! It seems to be poisoned."
Footsteps came from outside.
Bai Mei was worried that Bai Lan's disappearance would be discovered, so she quickly stuffed her under the bed.
After a few footsteps, the door was finally opened, but only one person entered.
Bai Lan had little strength and was lying under the bed, unable to see anyone except a pair of feet slowly approaching. She nervously covered her mouth.
Afraid of being found.
However, her worries were unnecessary; her feet remained motionless by the bedside.
Soon, a "chirp" sounded.
A sound of clothes being torn came, followed by Bai Mei's desperate screams, and the bed began to shake.
Bai Lan thought of Bai Dagen, whom she had killed with her own hands last night. No man is a good thing, they all deserve to die!
Bai Lan's eyes were red as she slowly moved off the bed.
There were no sharp objects in the room, so she quietly walked to the side, took the flowers out of the vase, and threw them on the ground.
Clutching the vase tightly, her hands and feet were so weak that each step required a great deal of effort.
She finally reached the bedside, by which time she was covered in sweat.
The man lying on Bai Mei was only 1.3 meters tall, like a child. She couldn't understand why such a short person would do such a dirty thing.
Bai Mei saw Bai Lan holding a vase through the thug's shoulder. She widened her eyes and shook her head frantically, signaling Bai Mei to hide quickly.
Since I'm already tainted, let her suffer the consequences; we have to protect someone.
Bai Lan ignored her, aimed the vase at the man's head, and smashed it down hard.
The man was caught up in the excitement and didn't notice what was behind him. Bai Lan smashed his head open, and by the time he managed to turn around, Bai Lan was already in a bloodthirsty rage.
She grabbed his neck tightly with both hands, her eyes filled with ferocity.
After a brief moment of panic, Bai Mei grabbed a pillow and covered his head with it. The two of them worked together and the man beneath them quickly stopped breathing.
Bai Mei leaned against the bed, pulling the blanket over her disheveled body. The panic on her face hadn't faded, and her eyes were filled with tears as she wept silently.
Bai Lan was slightly better. She pulled down the pillow expressionlessly, looked at the unseeing eyes, and felt only the pleasure of revenge.
