Chapter 97 Bai Lan's Narration

The three of them had eaten too much and were in poor appearance. They sat on the stools for half an hour before they felt a little better.

Bai Lan felt much better, and when she turned around, good heavens, the two adulterers were staring at each other intently. She turned back again.

"Cough! Cough!"

Zhao Ruyue then came to her senses: "Bai Lan, what's wrong?"

Bai Lan didn't turn her head: "We've rested enough, shouldn't we go see His Highness the Crown Prince and the others?"

"That's true, business is more important, let's go."

Bai Lan walked in front, and as soon as she stepped out the door, the servants at the door came to lead the way, and she followed behind with long strides.

Zhao Ruyue and Zhang Jie walked at the back. Ruyue looked at Bai Lan, who was walking so fast ahead of her, and sighed, "Sigh! Bai Lan is just too worried about her sister. Look how fast she's walking. We must help her and take revenge as soon as possible."

Zhang Jie readily agreed: "Okay, whatever you say, you decide."

Zhao Ruyue smiled sweetly and gently twisted his waist: "You're so naughty!"

Bai Lan walked quickly and thankfully didn't hear their conversation, otherwise she would have said: "I'm walking so fast because I don't want to see you two being all lovey-dovey."

Shen Jiaojiao and Chu Tianling had been waiting in the hall, but unexpectedly, Bai Lan was the first to arrive.

Bai Lan bowed, looking somewhat reserved.

Chu Tianling only had his wife in his heart, and he couldn't bring himself to speak to a young woman, so he remained silent.

He was afraid of causing trouble for Jiaojiao and making her angry.

Shen Jiaojiao walked down from the head of the table. There was a round table in the hall. With a gentle expression, she said to Bai Lan warmly, "Bai Lan, come and sit down to talk."

Bai Lan had just felt a little awkward standing there alone, mainly because she had a lot to say but no one was asking her, so she didn't feel comfortable speaking up.

Fortunately, the Crown Princess was kind, so she quickly followed and sat down.

She thought to herself, "The Crown Princess is so beautiful and kind. I like her so much."

Shen Jiaojiao poured a glass of water and handed it to her: "Here, have some water, and tell me slowly."

Bai Lan took it foolishly, took a small sip, and thought, "It smells so good!"

Chu Tianling noticed that his lover had run downstairs, so far away from him, yet so close to other women, and he snorted inwardly.

Silently, he got up, walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat down next to Shen Jiaojiao.

He silently moved an empty cup over, a silent hint: "Have a cup."

Bai Lan glanced at the familiar recipe, lowered her head, and pretended not to see it. Another pair of scoundrels, I've had enough!

At this moment, Zhao Ruyue and Zhang Jie also arrived. After exchanging greetings, they naturally sat down at the round table.

When Zhang Jie saw that Bai Lan had a cup of tea, he took the initiative to get up, poured the tea, and placed it in front of Ru Yue.

Bai Lan lowered her head and took a small sip of water. She was now surrounded by two groups of people. This damned world was full of malice towards her!

Shen Jiaojiao looked at Ruyue with shining eyes: "Oh~~~! Ruyue, what's going on between you two?"

Zhao Ruyue said shyly, "Oh dear! Jiaojiao, let's talk about this privately when we have time. Right now, we have important business to attend to."

Shen Jiaojiao was taken aback by her demure demeanor. She never expected that the once domineering and strong woman who had separated from her family would become so gentle and tender now that she had a boyfriend.

"Okay!"

Turning to Bai Lan, Shen Jiaojiao asked, "Bai Lan, can we talk now?"

Bai Lan looked up, and it was finally my turn!

"The Liu family of Jiangnan killed my sister! I want revenge!"

Shen Jiaojiao sat next to her and saw that the girl's eyes had turned red after she had only said one sentence. She quickly raised her hand, gently stroked her back, and said softly, "Manman, tell us. Don't get excited. Tell us everything you know, and we will help you."

Bai Lan was deeply moved by her voice and slowly began to speak.

Bai Lan and her sister Bai Mei's ancestral home is a remote mountain village in the southern border region called Baijia Village, where everyone shares the surname Bai. Their parents worked hard to raise the two children by farming.

With the two sisters nearing the age of 18, the family prepared to go to town to buy them a new set of clothes.

Although the two sisters were born in the countryside, it is indeed rare to find twins who are both good-looking and look alike.

The village chief of Baijia Village was named Bai Dagen. He was forty years old and had previously passed the imperial examination at the county level. However, he stopped taking the exam when his elderly mother fell critically ill, so he simply returned home and became the village chief.

This person is usually kind and generous, and is also a scholar with an excellent reputation in the village.

After Bai Lan's parents left that day, only the two girls were left at home.

Bai Mei was a quiet girl who stayed home embroidering handkerchiefs. Bai Lan, on the other hand, was a bit more playful. She climbed up the tall tree in the yard, lay down on a branch, and rested with her eyes half-closed. After all, she was at home, so it didn't count as going out to play.

Soon after, Bai Dagen appeared.

He didn't knock, but gently pushed the door open and then blocked it with his hand.

Bai Dagen entered the room and saw Bai Mei embroidering by the window. She was as young as a flower, just beginning to mature, and he gently moved closer.

"Mei'er!"

"Ah! Uncle Dagen, what brings you here?" Bai Mei felt that the village chief was a little different today.

Bai Dagen was extremely proud of his status as a scholar, and he always dressed like a gentle and refined gentleman.

But today his eyes were a little red, revealing a different kind of lust.

Bai Mei was naive and didn't understand what it meant for a man to act this way.

"Don't be afraid, Mei'er. I'm your Uncle Dagen. I've watched you grow up since you were little. I won't do anything to you." He coaxed her patiently.

He knew that the village was remote and had little contact with the outside world, making it easy to deceive.

Bai Mei felt a little relieved; indeed, the village chief had always been very gentle.

Seeing that her expression had calmed down, Bai Dagen moved closer, gently took her hand, leaned in, and pulled her into his arms, whispering:

"Mei'er, don't be afraid. Have you heard of the rules of our village?"

Bai Mei struggled to get up: "Uncle Dagen, what are you doing? Why are you hugging me?"

Bai Dagen took a deep breath of the girl's fragrance, his face hidden behind Bai Mei's back, his smile becoming increasingly lewd: "Mei'er, don't move. Uncle Dagen is telling you, when girls in the village come of age, the village chief gives them a blessing, signifying that the girl has reached adulthood, grown up, and is ready to get married. This is a necessary step for every girl in the village, and your sister will too. I see she's not here right now, so let's start with you. I'll help her when she comes back later."

Bai Mei panicked. She didn't know what was going to happen and felt very scared.

"Uncle Dagen, I'm scared. How about tomorrow? I'll ask my parents when they get back."

Bai Dagen felt the delicate body in his arms trembling slightly, and he felt that his perverted psychology was satisfied.

His body began to tremble with excitement, and a devilish whisper came from his mouth: "Don't be afraid, Uncle Dagen is experienced. He'll be gentle, it won't hurt, it'll be quick and comfortable."

Bai Mei began to struggle violently, but Bai Dagen ruthlessly picked up the little girl and rushed into the room, throwing her onto the bed.
