Chapter 49: The Beauty Barber Shop
Looking at Ye Wangshu half leaning on the bed, Zhou Jincong swallowed, then climbed onto the bed and held Ye Wangshu in his arms.
"Honey, you smell so good."
Zhou Jincong half-hugged Ye Wangshu, held up Ye Wangshu's thick hair with one hand, and then buried his nose in Ye Wangshu's neck and shoulder.
Ye Wangshu swallowed, put one hand on Zhou Jinzong's back, and let out a sigh.
After calming his mind, Ye Wangshu closed his eyes.
As a result, after waiting for a long time, Zhou Jincong did not make any other moves. She lowered her eyes and looked at him, and was suddenly at a loss whether to laugh or cry.
This person actually fell asleep on top of him.
Ye Wangshu sighed softly and pushed Zhou Jincong's shoulders, letting him lie flat on the bed.
Then, there was the sound of a door opening.
"Jincong fell asleep?" Mother Zhou looked at Zhou Jincong lying on the bed and felt helpless. "You've been busy all day too. I'll go clean up the dishes in the pavilion. You can rest first!"
Ye Wangshu nodded, "Thank you, Mom."
Ye Wangshu would never refuse Zhou's mother's kindness.
"If you get up early tomorrow, remember to prepare some hangover soup for Jin Cong, otherwise he'll have a headache."
Ye Wangshu nodded, "Mom, I know."
Zhou's mother looked at the two of them again, then shook her head and left, closing the door behind her.
The next morning, Ye Wangshu came back to the room with some sobering soup and saw Zhou Jincong sitting stiffly on the bed.
"Honey, you're awake! Just finished drinking the sobering soup." Ye Wangshu handed over the sobering soup and looked at Zhou Jincong with curiosity.
"Husband, do you remember what happened after you got drunk yesterday?"
Meeting Ye Wangshu's gaze, Zhou Jincong swallowed and nodded uncomfortably.
"You remember!" Ye Wangshu's eyes lit up, and then he pressed against Zhou Jincong, "So deep down you really want to stick with me?"
Zhou Jincong's face froze, and he picked up the hangover soup and drank it.
Looking at Zhou Jincong's red ears, Ye Wangshu was in a very good mood.
"What? Husband, don't you want to stick with me?" Ye Wangshu pretended to be hurt and looked at Zhou Jincong with a wronged expression.
Seeing this, Zhou Jincong quickly shook his head, "I, I want to always... always stick with you."
Zhou Jincong's voice became smaller and smaller, but Ye Wangshu heard it clearly, but this could not stop her from joking.
"What? What did you say, husband? I didn't hear you clearly. Are you saying again that you don't want to be with me?"
Zhou Jincong wanted to say, "If you didn't hear it, then you didn't hear it. I'll just say it once." But unexpectedly, Ye Wangshu panicked.
Zhou Jincong was startled and immediately pulled Ye Wangshu into his arms. "I said I want to be with you, always, always."
After hearing this, Ye Wangshu couldn't help but feel warm in his heart, and whispered: "I also want to be with you forever."
Ever since Zhou Xiaohong said she wanted to learn hairdressing, Ye Wangshu would keep an eye on the barbershops in the city every time he went there, and would ask a few questions when he met acquaintances.
As soon as he saw Ye Wanwan today, Ye Wangshu asked her which barber shop was better and accepted apprentices.
"I heard that Xiuse Barber Shop is pretty good and treats apprentices well. I have something to do later and may not be able to accompany you."
"It's okay, I can go by myself."
"But your hair could really use a trim; it's a little too long." Ye Wanwan looked at Ye Wangshu's hair with envy and couldn't help but reach out to stroke it.
"It's so black, straight and smooth. How do you maintain it?"
"Go to bed early and get up early, and eat more black sesame seeds." Looking at Ye Wanwan's beautiful hair, Ye Wangshu shook his head. "Your hair isn't bad, but you styled it, so the quality is a little off."
"It looks great!" Ye Wanwan raised her hand and touched the ends of her hair, a proud look on her face.
"Oops! I'm almost late, so I won't accompany you."
Ye Wanwan glanced down at her watch, said something, and ran off.
The two of them met by chance, so Ye Wangshu naturally would not force him to stay.
After buying the things, Ye Wangshu found Xiuse Barber Shop.
She lowered her eyes to look at her hair. It was indeed long, but... she was reluctant to cut it off.
"Welcome, how can I help you?"
As soon as Ye Wangshu entered the room, the waiter guarding the door first bowed and then asked.
Ye Wangshu looked at this and thought it was okay. Even in the 21st century, there were very few stores that treated customers with such respect when they entered.
"My hair is too long. I'm planning to cut it short." Ye Wangshu looked into the store and saw that several seats were occupied. "Is it crowded now? How long do I have to wait?"
"Does the customer want a master or an apprentice to cut his hair? If he wants a master, he'll probably have to wait a little longer. If he wants an apprentice... he'll probably have to wait for half an hour."
"Can all your apprentices cut their own hair?"
After hearing Ye Wangshu's question, the waiter's face froze, and then he replied, "This isn't about learning! Apprentices charge less, and if they don't cut well, they'll even lose money. We can't just let apprentices watch without letting them practice!"
Ye Wangshu nodded, and the waiter continued to explain, "There are a lot of people here right now, so there's no one guarding the apprentice. If there are fewer customers, the apprentice will always be accompanied by a master."
"Sounds good." Ye Wangshu glanced at the poster on the wall. Still not wanting to cut his hair, he asked, "Can I take a look first? I want to think about it for a while."
"Of course, there are seats here, please take a seat."
The waiter led Ye Wangshu to sit down, then turned around and got him a glass of water.
"We have cleaned this cup, please enjoy it."
Ye Wangshu nodded, and his satisfaction with Xiuse Barber Shop reached a new level.
Ye Wangshu's seat was just right for her to watch people getting their hair cut, so she watched from the side, holding a cup of water.
"Ah! What's with that haircut? It's so short, you might as well just shave it off."
A voice of grievance suddenly sounded, immediately drawing Ye Wangshu's attention.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I'll fix it for you, and it will look better after I fix it."
"Trim!? It's already short enough, how else do you want it to be?" The woman looked aggrieved, pointing at the apprentice who was cutting her hair with tears in her eyes.
"Sorry, sorry, we agreed before that choosing an apprentice is risky. We won't charge you any money now, we'll even compensate you and give you five free haircuts."
As soon as the owner of Xiuse Barber Shop discovered that an apprentice had not cut someone's hair properly, he immediately came over with the money.
"Take this dollar first. I'll go get you a haircut card."
"With your barbering skills, who would dare to come here in the future?" The woman took out a dollar and looked at the apprentice who was hanging his head with disdain.
"No, no, no, we can choose between being an apprentice or a master in these five chances, don't worry."
The boss took out five cards and handed them to the woman, "Take these cards and you can get a haircut for free."
