Liu Jingze said, "I'm driving Dad's car today. My car was sent for repairs. I brought Ah Zhi and Ah Gang here so we can take turns driving to avoid getting too tired."
Su Tiantian's tone unconsciously carried a hint of girlish wrath: "I said I would take the bus back. Even if you didn't drive and there wasn't traffic, it would take five or six hours to go back and forth. It's too tiring."
Liu Jingze's tone was full of persistence: "If I'm not free, I will also send someone to pick you up. I'm worried about you taking a car by yourself." He cut the chicken steak, placed the plate in front of Su Tiantian and said, "Tiantian, we will register for marriage tomorrow. You will move in with me tomorrow, okay? I don't want to wait until after the wedding."
Su Tiantian's earlobes turned a little red, and she whispered, "Okay, I'll tell Mom and Dad tonight or tomorrow and pack my luggage."
Although the sound was not loud, Liu Jingze still heard it and his mood suddenly became happier. He said, "By the way, Uncle Su asked Dad to have lunch at your house tomorrow at noon. Did you know?"
Su Tiantian nodded. "Before I got off work, I received a message from Zhihao saying that Dad had an appointment with Uncle Liu for dinner and that he would cook for him. Uncle Liu said that he needed to talk to Dad about something and it would be best to ask his uncle along. Dad also asked Zhihao to have lunch with Aling at home at noon and not to go out."
Liu Jingze took a sip of the lemonade and said, "Tomorrow is the Lantern Festival. I guess Zhihao wants to go out and celebrate with his girlfriend. Did you mess up his plans?"
Su Tiantian said: "Not really. They think eating out during holidays is too expensive and too crowded, so they prefer to eat at home. Sometimes they are very frugal, but sometimes they are willing to spend money when they should."
Liu Jingze said, "I haven't booked a restaurant for tomorrow. If you want to eat out, you can only go to Siqi Farm."
Su Tiantian dipped the chicken fillet in ketchup and said, "I guess a lot of people will go to Siqi Farm for dinner tomorrow."
Liu Jingze nodded: "Yes, there are a lot of people who have made reservations. Huilin also launched a Lantern Festival set meal."
Su Tiantian's cautious yet cute expression was very interesting. She said, "If you take me to eat over there, aren't you afraid of getting scolded?"
Liu Jingze said helplessly: "Let her scold me, I'm eating and she's working overtime, so just scold her a few times."
When they returned to the Su family, it was 10:30 in the evening. Azhi and Agang looked at the back seat. Su Tiantian leaned on Liu Jingze's shoulder, and both of them fell asleep in the car.
Ah Zhi called softly, "Mr. Liu, we're here."
Liu Jingze opened his eyes warily and looked at Su Tiantian who was leaning on his shoulder. He didn't dare to move. He looked at the surrounding environment and said softly: "Tiantian, wake up, we are home."
Seeing that she was still unconscious, he unbuckled her seat belt and gently shook her shoulders with his left hand: "Tiantian, wake up."
Su Tiantian finally opened her eyes, still confused: "I'm home, what time is it?"
Ah Gang said, "Mrs. Liu, it's ten-thirty-five."
Liu Jingze said: "The lights are still on. I guess Uncle Su and Aunt Su are waiting for you to come home."
Su Tiantian looked out the window and said, "Then let's get off."
Azhi took Su Tiantian's luggage out of the car. Before Su Tiantian could find the key to open the door, the door had already opened. It was Su Jinyuan. He said happily: "I heard some noise outside. I guess you are here."
Liu Jingze was holding one of Su Tiantian's hands at this time, and Su Tiantian was holding a hydrangea in the other hand. Liu Jingze saw that Su Jinyuan was still as calm as ever and said, "Good evening, Uncle Su."
Su Tiantian said, "Dad, you haven't slept yet. You don't have to wait for me."
Su Jinyuan said, "Come in quickly."
Liu Jingze said, "Azhi and Agang, wait for me in the car." After that, he took his luggage and followed Su Jinyuan into the living room with Su Tiantian. Sang Yimei was also there. Su Tiantian hurried over and said, "Mom, I'm back."
Sang Yimei said with a worried look on her face, "Next time, if Jingze doesn't pick you up, don't come back at night. It makes me worry too much. Jingze, you've worked hard. Please sit down quickly."
Su Tiantian nodded obediently: "I understand."
Liu Jingze said, "Picking up Tiantian is what I should do." He put down his luggage and sat down again.
Su Jinyuan handed the prepared household registration booklet to Su Tiantian and said, "You two should take a rest. Don't you still have to register your marriage tomorrow?"
Su Tiantian put the household registration booklet into her handbag and said, "Brother Jing's appointment is at 10 o'clock, so you can get up later tomorrow."
Su Jinyuan said, "Jingze, go back first and come back to pick up Tiantian tomorrow."
Su Tiantian glanced at Liu Jingze, mustered up the courage to say, "Dad, Mom, I want to move to Brother Jing's house tomorrow."
Su Jinyuan and Sang Yimei exchanged a glance, feeling like they had so much to say that they didn't know where to begin. After a while, Sang Yimei said, "Just move in. Register your marriage tomorrow, and you'll be legally husband and wife."
Su Jinyuan said in a serious tone, "Jingze, Tiantian is usually spoiled by me and her mother, so she's a little spoiled. If she does something wrong, you can tell her or tell us, but you must never hit her. Otherwise, no matter if it's her fault or not, I won't let you go."
Liu Jingze stood up and said seriously, "Uncle Su, Aunt Su, I promise you, I will never hit Tiantian. I can't bear to hit her."
Su Jinyuan's expression was still very serious. He said, "Jingze, I've watched you grow up. I know your temper. I believe in you. I hope you'll always remember what you said today."
Liu Jingze said cautiously: "I understand, Uncle Su."
Sang Yimei said, "Then you go back first." Before Liu Jingze could say anything, Su Tiantian said, "Brother Jing, please help me carry the luggage upstairs." Liu Jingze looked at the Su couple, and obediently took the luggage and went upstairs with Su Tiantian who was holding the hydrangea.
