10 a.m., Vice President Xu’s office.
Bai Rongchang looked worried. "It's been announced that Mr. Lai will be joining Dinghui Company as the Financial Director, but we don't know who the new General Manager will be."
Su Tiantian took a sip of tea and said, "I don't think it will happen between Vice President Xu and Vice President Huang. The head office will probably send someone over."
Vice President Xu asked anxiously, "Tiantian, have you received any news?"
Su Tiantian said, "Last Friday, I overheard Mr. Lai and Mr. Yuan saying that I was annoyed at the thought of having to deal with that woman frequently in the future."
Bai Rongchang said, "Young Master Yuan just returned from Province C last Friday, and he doesn't look too good. Normally, he's all smiles when he's not working, but today he looks gloomy."
Su Tiantian said: "Brother Rong, can't you see that I don't look very well this morning?"

Bai Rongchang was anxious. "What do you mean he'll sign with whoever offers the best deal? Aren't our quotes the same? Manager Zhu has only been here for half a month. Does he have any special qualities?"
Su Tiantian said, "At least he started as a sales manager right after joining, which is a higher starting position than you and me. I don't know the specific situation, but Mr. Zhan said so."
Vice President Xu said, "Let me ask Manager Zhu what's going on."

Assistant Li and Luo Sisi were in the office area outside Mr. Lai's office. When they saw Su Tiantian, they both stood up and said, "Good morning, Manager Su."

Assistant Li made the call: "Hello, Mr. Lai, Manager Su is here and wants to see you.
"Okay, I'll take her in."
Assistant Li hung up the phone and said, "Manager Su, Mr. Lai asked me to take you in."
Su Tiantian, who followed Assistant Li into President Lai's office, felt that they came at a bad time. No wonder Assistant Li had to be brought in. If Assistant Li cleaned up the mess, the teacup on the desk would have fallen over, many documents were thrown on the ground, clothes and coats were on the ground, and the potted plants had fallen on the ground.
