The moon on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year was crescent, not bright. Its faint light filtered through the dense branches of the osmanthus tree, casting tiny specks of light. The lamps on either side were a warm yellow, nostalgic fixtures that seemed to carry a subtle, yet gentle quality.
A breeze blew by, and the osmanthus flowers on the tree fell one by one. The air was filled with a sweet and intoxicating fragrance. Su Tiantian did not feel uncomfortable or nauseous when she smelled it.
This is an osmanthus tree that is more than 30 years old. It is located in the yard near the office and few people go in. Su Tiantian once heard that a customer wanted to buy it at a high price, but was rejected by Liu Liangjie.
Under the osmanthus tree, Su Zhihao helped Su Tiantian sit on a wooden bench. Perhaps to facilitate flower viewing, there were two 1.2-meter-long benches under the osmanthus tree.
