When I went out in the morning, the sky was still clear, but before I reached the hospital, the sky was suffocated by thick dark clouds, as if a downpour would come at any time. Sure enough, as soon as the car drove into the hospital parking lot, heavy rain began to fall.

The two walked into the color Doppler ultrasound room. The lighting was soft, and the white walls looked even whiter against the backdrop of the light. The doctor's expression was serious: "Family members, please leave. The pregnant woman can stay here."
Liu Jingze was kicked out. Yun Suiyang, who was waiting outside the B-ultrasound room, hurried forward and asked quietly, "Mr. Liu, what's wrong?"
Liu Jingze said helplessly: "The doctor said the family members need to leave."
As soon as he finished speaking, a pregnant woman wearing a black maternity dress said, "Family members are not allowed in."

The color ultrasound room was filled with a faint smell of disinfectant. Su Tiantian carefully lay on the slightly narrow examination bed. The doctor expertly picked up the probe and gently applied coupling agent evenly to her bulging belly. The momentary chill made Su Tiantian shudder slightly. She felt the room was very quiet, and her heartbeat was a little loud.
"Don't be nervous, relax," the doctor said softly. But Su Tiantian couldn't help but tug at the bed sheet as the doctor began to move the probe over her belly, constantly adjusting its angle and position, his brows furrowed slightly.
"The babies are a little naughty." The doctor's voice broke the brief silence.
"Come, try a different position. One of the babies has been facing away from the probe. They need to turn around," the doctor suggested. Su Tiantian turned sideways with difficulty, feeling a little uncomfortable.
The image on the screen was blurry and the doctor's brows were furrowed more and more.
"It still doesn't work. One baby has his back to the probe and is blocking the other baby. Let's go out for a walk. Maybe the baby will change his position." The doctor said helplessly.
Su Tiantian, who felt like she had been lying down for a long time, found it a bit strenuous to get up. The doctor said, "Don't move yet. Here are some tissues. Please wipe the coupling agent off your belly first. I'll call your family members in."
He walked over, opened the door of the ultrasound room, and shouted, "Su Tiantian's family, please come in."
Liu Jingze, who had been waiting outside the door, hurried in and answered as he walked, "I am Su Tiantian's family member." He looked at Su Tiantian lying on the examination bed.
The doctor said, "Family members, please help the pregnant woman get up and take a walk, or eat some chocolate, climb some stairs, listen to some music, etc., so that the baby can turn around. The doctor said, "You guys can go out now. 4D color X-rays are rarely done in one go. Don't worry. Come back later."
Liu Jingze helped Su Tiantian out of the ultrasound room. A pregnant woman came forward and asked, "Is it done yet?"
Su Tiantian shook her head: "The doctor said the baby refused to turn around."
The pregnant woman said, "I hope my baby can cooperate. I came here today to eat a full meal."
Another pregnant woman said, "Go walk up the stairs. I heard it helps."
Su Tiantian said: "Thank you."
Su Tiantian was actually not too disappointed because she was mentally prepared. Her good friend Deng Qiaoyi said that it took her four attempts to complete the four-dimensional color ultrasound, and her colleague said that she had to do it three times, so she took a day off to do this examination.
Liu Jingze and Su Tiantian walked up and down the stairs slowly. There was an elevator in the hospital and few people walked up the stairs. However, there were six or seven pregnant women and their families walking up the stairs closest to the B-ultrasound room. Their footsteps echoed in the stairwell and were particularly clear.
A pregnant woman in a light gray maternity dress was complaining, "I had six X-rays yesterday, and the doctor knew me. I ate chocolate, kebabs, bent over, climbed stairs, and tried lying on my left and right sides. I even listened to music for half an hour, but it still didn't work. The person holding her up should be her husband. He touched his glasses and said, "I hope the baby can cooperate today."
