Manager Feng said, "Mrs. Liu, those mutton, beef, and pork are all fresh meat that's marinated before being grilled. But you should not eat too much. Pregnant women sometimes crave certain things. If you have any cravings, just tell us and we'll do our best to arrange it. Mr. Liu cares deeply about you."
Suddenly, a voice came from the intercom: "Manager Feng, Manager Feng, where are you? Mrs. Liu's lamb chops are ready."
Manager Feng said, "I understand. I'll come to the kitchen to find you right away."
Xiao Huilin waved her hand: "Hurry up, otherwise it won't taste good if it gets cold."
Manager Feng walked quickly in her high heels, closed the door, and left.
Jiang Sihui teased, "Tiantian, you have an appetite now, don't you? Come eat quickly. I didn't expect Jingze to be so thoughtful."
Su Tiantian smiled shyly: "Let's eat together, I can't finish so much."
Looking at the two full plates of grilled skewers, and the lamb chops that Manager Feng would be sending over later, Su Tiantian knew that the portion was not enough for her alone.
Xiao Huilin picked up the bowl and said as she filled it with porridge, "Yes, let's eat together. Our chef grills skewers very well, but we don't usually make them." She placed the porridge on the turntable, put a spoon on it, and walked it over to Su Tiantian, "Tiantian, have some porridge. Be careful, it's hot."
Su Tiantian reached for the bowl: "Thank you Huilin."
Jiang Sihui took a skewer of lamb and a skewer of beef and handed them to He Yiyuan, saying, "Yiyi, try it. It should be slightly spicy."
He Yiyuan took it with a smile: "You are so welcome, that was specially prepared by Brother Jingze for Sister Tiantian."
Jiang Sihui said confidently: "If Tiantian can't finish it, Jingze will still have to help her eat it. Let's eat boldly."
Ren Zhenghui said, "Yes, eat as much as you can. If it's not enough, ask Xiaojing to grill some herself. But I'll save some for Xiaojing first."
Xiao Huilin took a plate and kept some of everything.
Su Tiantian covered her mouth and laughed: "Cousin Hui, if you ask your cousin Xiao Jing to bake it himself, he might ask his father for help."
Ren Zhenghui said helplessly: "Xiao Jing's cooking skills are not good, but under the careful teaching of her uncle, she can still cook a few dishes."
What a meticulous education! Su Tiantian felt Liu Liangjie hadn't had it easy either. Years ago, he'd taught Liu Jingze many times before he finally learned how to cook a few dishes. As Liu Liangjie put it, "as long as you're not afraid of going hungry, it's better than eating instant noodles." Normally, there's a nanny at home, so he can eat out.
