012 Mothers-in-law who share the same suffering (2/2)

"Come out and let's talk." Huo Shizhou's deep voice softened rarely.

Jian Si Ning knew that he would not give up until he achieved his goal. If he didn't come out, she would not be able to sleep tonight.

After opening the door, their eyes met for a moment, then they immediately looked away.

"Let's eat first." Huo Shizhou walked to the dining table.

When Jian Si Ning sat down, he saw a dish of scrambled eggs with tomatoes, a dish of meat with black fungus, and a bowl of kelp and tofu soup on the table.

It was obvious that these were dishes brought back from the cafeteria, and they were all Anya's favorites. Jian Si Ning couldn't help but laugh at herself. What was she thinking about just now?

"Just say whatever you want to say." Jian Sining stood up, took the can of spicy fish nuggets from the cabinet, and put two pieces into his own bowl.

Seeing this, Huo Shizhou tried to make amends: "I don't know what you like to eat, so I asked Xiao Zhao to order a few dishes at random."

"Well, Xiao Zhao is worthy of being your orderly. He knows what kind of person you like."

Huo Shizhou looked embarrassed: "No, I just think it's better to eat light food at night..."

"Let's get down to business. You don't have to explain this to me. I don't want to." Jian Sining interrupted his meaningless defense again.

Huo Shizhou sighed helplessly: "I admit that I have been busy dealing with a lot of chores since we got married, and I haven't paid enough attention to you. It is indeed my fault as a husband."

Jian Si Ning just wanted to laugh: "So?"

"I will move into the master bedroom and sleep with you from today. Please give up on suing Anya! Let's put this matter behind us. We will live our lives separately from now on, and I will keep my distance from her."

Jian Sining, who was chewing with his head down, gradually frowned, and a thin layer of ice covered his sarcastic eyes.

"I was wondering why you asked me out for dinner. It turns out you wanted me to let go of your sweetheart?"

Huo Shizhou's patience was about to run out: "She is not my sweetheart. I only treat her as a sister, a very dear sister! Don't speculate about us with those dirty thoughts."

"It doesn't matter. She is the one you don't want. I just know that she killed the most important person in my life. Killing someone means paying for their life."

Huo Shizhou slapped his chopsticks and said, "You really have to force me, right?"

Jian Si Ning's eyes were sharp, and he did not give in at all: "You forced me, Huo Shizhou, are your actions worthy of the clothes you wear? Have you fulfilled the oath you swore?"

"I did this to fulfill my oath. Anya once saved my life, and I promised to protect her. If she was responsible for the accident, she should be punished. But it was your grandmother who suddenly rushed out and caused the accident. Why did you insist on not letting her go?"

"Then do you have evidence to prove that it was my grandma who rushed to the door on her own? She didn't just listen to my parents and Anya's words, did she?"

Huo Shizhou slammed the table and roared, "Then do you have any evidence to prove that Anya deliberately bumped into Grandma? Why did she do that?"

"Because of her..." Jian Si Ning was stunned. She couldn't say that Anya had admitted it in her previous life, right?

"Even if I haven't found evidence yet, it's a fact that she was driving without a license and illegally on the road, which caused my grandmother's death. You want to let it go, unless I die."

"Bang——" Huo Shizhou slammed his fist on the dining table, and the bowls and plates jumped up.

He stood up, propped his hands on the table, raised his eyes dyed red by anger, stared at Jian Si Ning, and warned in a cold voice:

"We are husband and wife, don't force me to deal with you."

Jian Si Ning smiled, raised his head and looked at him: "Captain Huo, you're welcome. It's unlucky to be married to you. Since we can't get divorced, then I'll be a widower."

Jian Sining ignored Huo Shizhou's warning and formally filed a lawsuit with the procuratorate.

Half a month later, the case was officially opened in Jiangcheng Intermediate Court...
