"You may all leave." He pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

After everyone had left, the Holy Emperor finally looked at the Empress, whose face was streaked with tears.

"The child is alright."

The Empress wiped away her tears and nodded, saying, "Yes, Your Majesty."

Looking at the Second Prince, the Holy Emperor's gaze was intense. "Junli, what exactly is going on?"

"Father, I don't know what happened either."

The Empress gripped his hand tightly, "Junli, were you injured when you were a child? Did Consort Zhao injure you back then?"

The Second Prince's eyes changed slightly at the mention of Consort Zhao.
