Hua Xin followed behind, glaring resentfully at Zou Shuang'er.
Ye Lanyin looked up: "Shopkeeper, how much is this cloth?"
"Madam, this bolt of Shu brocade costs twenty taels!"
Ye Lanyin turned to look at Zou Shuang'er, "Madam Zou, twenty taels a bolt of silk, that's so expensive, can you afford it?"
"How could you not be able to call out?" Zou Shuang'er sneered.
Whether it's men or money, she won't lose either.
"Then let's get the shopkeeper to sign a sales agreement. The highest bidder wins. If someone can't pay the money after the auction, then it'll be considered a debt." Ye Lanyin looked at her provocatively. "How about it?"
Zou Shuang'er couldn't stand Ye Lanyin's attitude the most, so she immediately agreed.

Not long after, Huaxin quietly squeezed in through the door.
He stood to one side, smiling.
Miss is so clever. She kept pointing to the door, and it took me a long time to guess a thing or two from her baby talk.
It turned out that she was asked to call someone to testify.
She held up her thumb and secretly gave her two thumbs up.
Hua Mei bumped into her.
Hua Xin chuckled.
"One hundred and seventy taels." Ye Lanyin feigned arrogance.
Zou Shuang'er clenched her fists in anger at her gaze. How dare she look down on her?
"Two hundred and fifty taels!"
"Three hundred taels!" Ye Lanyin continued.
"Wow!" the people exclaimed.
A single bolt of cloth fetched a staggering three hundred taels of silver.
Zhou Shuang'er was anxious, but she was unwilling to accept defeat; she absolutely could not lose.
This is not just a contest over a piece of cloth.
More often than not, it's a contest between the principal wife and the concubine.
"Five hundred taels!" As soon as Zhou Shuang'er finished speaking, the whole place fell silent.
Zou Wanqing was on the ground, and she tugged at the hem of her skirt.
She then remembered that someone had been pulling her at her feet.
She picked up Zou Wanqing casually.

The shopkeeper shoved the sales contract in front of her.
