The leopard demon excitedly ran out to look for people again.
Lin Wanwan grabbed Meiwu's hand and walked forward, saying, "Sister, go pack your things, I'll take you with me later."
Meiwu was overjoyed; it was truly a stroke of luck for her, coming so effortlessly.
Just then, Meiwu accidentally saw a faint light above and learned that the one-hour punishment was about to begin.
Just as she was lost in thought, a piercing sound immediately rang out from the Blood Slaughter Hall.
Upon hearing this, Mei Wu was so frightened that she squatted down on the ground, crying and covering her ears.
The others around were also crouching on the ground in fear, and some of the younger ones even ran directly into the arms of the adults next to them.

Even demons trembled before the Blood Fiend Palace's punishment, which shows how severe it was.

Lin Wanwan looked up at the dim light above, and, holding Meiwu's hand, asked:
"Sister, what's wrong with the mud?"
“Little cow, you don’t know, those who enter here are punished by the Blood Fiend Hall every hour, as a way of letting us know that we are guilty.”
"Quickly squat down, so that the punishment won't be so painful later."
Mei Wu held Lin Wanwan's small body in her arms, and despite her own fear, she still protected her with her trembling hands.
Soon, the piercing sound became more and more noticeable and sharper.
Some couldn't take it anymore and started wailing and crying on the ground.
A moment later, with a loud bang, flames spread from the top of the Blood Fiend Hall to ignite the entire hall, burning every inch of the ground and pillars. The flames instantly engulfed the demon's body.
They struggled painfully on the ground, sometimes crawling around with their claws out, some crashing directly into their master, others jumping into the nearest ditch, trying to escape the terrifying flames.
"Ouch, it hurts so much! My demon bones feel like they're about to shatter."
"My demon soul seems to be dying."
"Father, Mother..."
Lin Wanwan looked at Mei Wu, who was lying on the ground clutching her head in pain, and reached out to tap her. "Sister, are you alright?"
Mei Wu used her demonic power to control the burning pain on her body, opened her eyes and glanced at Lin Wanwan.

Mei Wu suddenly straightened up, looking at Lin Wanwan, whose face was full of expectation.

The demons survived the ordeal, but they knew that this survival was preparation for the next punishment.
Although they will not die after the punishment ends, those demons who cannot endure the punishment will destroy their own cultivation and end their own lives in order to seek liberation.
