She had barely finished speaking when she realized she could no longer contact the system, and her lips twitched.
All she did was take off her clothes.
Is it really that exaggerated?
She quickly finished washing up and went out, only to find Li Mingya quietly reading a book at the table. Her head was slightly lowered, and the desk lamp cast a warm glow on her, making her profile appear gentle and graceful.
Just like the impression she initially left on Gu Luoxi, she was incredibly gentle.
But Gu Luoqi now knows that these may be illusions.
"Ya Ya, you've been studying behind my back!" she exclaimed dramatically.
Li Mingya slowly sat up straighter, his voice gentle with a hint of amusement, "Learning to break the law?"
"It's not illegal, but it's so late, let's rest first." Gu Luoqi's voice softened a bit.
She has always admired people who clearly know what they want and are particularly self-disciplined in taking concrete actions to achieve it.
“But you’ve got it wrong, I’m not studying.” Li Mingya said with a smile.
"Hmm?" Gu Luoqi walked over to her, and when he saw something familiar, his face turned red.
Her voice rose a few decibels, "How dare you read my diary?"
Why is she feeling a little ashamed now?
If she remembered correctly, that thing was a collection of sad quotes from her past works, along with an outline of a Mary Sue novel.
She used to like writing this kind of thing every time she read a novel, because it made the plot easy to understand and less likely to be forgotten.
She even went so far as to try writing all sorts of Mary Sue plots.
Car accidents, amnesia, rebirth, drugging—the more outrageous the plot, the better. It's all so formulaic.
After she finished writing it, she studied it again and felt that she was really good at it.
But now it seems a bit complicated.
All she wants now is to snatch that thing and burn it to ashes.
"Is this a diary?" Li Mingya asked, somewhat bewildered.
Whose diary is like this?
A thought suddenly flashed through her mind: Who keeps a diary if they're a decent person?
"Can't you tell?" Gu Luoqi's face turned slightly red.
"Forgive me for being frank, but I really can't tell." Li Mingya's gaze fell lightly on Gu Luoxi.
"Stop looking, go to sleep." Gu Luoqi said helplessly.
Who hasn't had a cringeworthy, immature phase?
So if you can understand, then try to understand.
Fortunately, Ya Ya isn't such a gossipy person. If Xiao Chengzi were there, she would definitely laugh at her while reading a passage to her.
She just wanted to die on the spot.
However, Li Mingya was destined to disappoint her.
She smiled and said, "No rush, I'll go to sleep after I finish reading this."
Gu Luoqi: "..."
Okay, the budget was wrong.
"I'm going to sleep now, you can take your time reading." She was going all in.
Face isn't that important anymore, you get used to it.
Li Mingya nodded slightly and affirmed Gu Luoqi's work, saying, "The character relationships are well sorted out."
Gu Luoqi looked up at Li Mingya, her face full of doubt, "Are you serious?"
Looking back now, what she wrote back then was incredibly embarrassing.
“Of course I’m serious, even though it looks a bit outdated now.” Li Mingya said earnestly.
"Is what you're looking at the same thing I wrote?" She found it when she was tidying up her desk. She originally planned to destroy the evidence, but she couldn't bring herself to do it, since she had written it word by word before.
Keeping it has some sentimental value, I suppose.
If she had known it would turn out like this, she would have thrown it away long ago.
Li Mingya looked up, his face serious, "Never underestimate yourself."
