Gu Luoqi took out a small notebook from her bag. The notebook had blank pages, and she had drawn a statistical table on it.
The system clearly records every random task issued by the system, even the time is remembered.
"When did your memory become so good?" the system asked, seemingly incredulous.
This was clearly influenced by Gu Luoqi's usual behavior.
She even needs it to write down and remind her of her class assignments.
"My memory of the points is inexplicably gone, I don't know why," Gu Luoqi said casually.
Each random and special mission comes with a high reward of points, making it hard for her not to remember them.
Everyone says she's just an ordinary little genius at bookkeeping.
Of course, the root of all evil was that she was simply too poor.
The system, however, gleaned some subtle hints from her words.
So she's afraid it will secretly deduct points from her account?
What about the most basic trust between people and the system?
Gu Luoqi now realized the inappropriateness of her words, "Of course I have absolute trust in you, after all, we are a community with a shared future..."
System: Heh, it's no wonder it doesn't believe her nonsense.
Seeing that the system was ignoring her, she stopped.
She then continued to quietly compile her "Upgrade Guide," for her future fate depended on it.
She racked her brains to recall all the details, then deduced which aspect of her abilities the system was training by proposing these tasks, and marked the answers in the small boxes below.
This made her workload quite enormous, but she seemed to become more and more energetic as she worked on it, with bright eyes and a smile on her lips, which made the system think she was going crazy.
She reluctantly closed her notebook only when her father called her to dinner.
"Where is Qi Sheng?" Gu Luoxi hadn't seen Qi Sheng by the time her father and aunt Qi were at the table.
"I just went out. This child is still running around even though it's mealtime. Honestly..." Aunt Qi said helplessly.
"Oh." Gu Luoqi didn't think much of it and happily ate her food. She was still a little hungry, probably because the work she had just done was too mentally and physically demanding.
After dinner, she threw herself back into her work. The workload was quite heavy, and she had to work overtime to finish it.
"Wife, do you feel like something's not quite right?" Gu's father asked with a frown after Gu Luoqi left.
"Where?" Aunt Qi looked up slightly.
"My daughter has been unusually quiet today," Mr. Gu said, expressing his concern.
In previous years, she would have made a huge scene the day before her birthday, so why is she so quiet today?
"It's alright." Aunt Qi had gotten used to Gu Luoqi's recent changes.
"Maybe it's because my daughter has grown up..."
"Mr. Gu sighed deeply, feigning a sense of vicissitude."
Aunt Qi: I don't know if my daughter has grown up or not, but you are getting older and older.
...
"Sheng'er, I brought you some candy. Be a good girl and stay home. Don't run around." The woman, whose face was delicate but looked a little haggard, gently patted his head.
"Okay, I'll definitely stay home obediently," the little guy said to the woman with conviction.
"Okay, I'm leaving." The woman pinched his cheek, then turned and went out the door.
The little guy stared at the door, then slowly opened the wrapper of the candy in his hand and put it in his mouth.
So sweet.
He narrowed his eyes slightly.
...
Qi Sheng suddenly sat up in bed, a few strands of her bangs damp with the fine sweat on her forehead.
How long has it been since he last dreamed about things from the past?
He glanced sideways at the sparse light streaming in through the gap in the curtains.
After sitting there for a while, he rubbed his forehead, then got up and got out of bed, looking exhausted throughout the process.
