Qi Sheng opened the door and saw Gu Luoxi carrying a bunch of things.
He silently asked the other person what they were doing with his eyes.
"You don't have anything else to do right now, do you?" Gu Luoqi wasn't oblivious to such things, so she asked first.
Judging from the other person's equipment, Qi Sheng roughly knew what she was going to do. "No."
"Then you can play games with me." Gu Luoqi squeezed in next to him very familiarly.
Based on what she knew, a good student like Qi Sheng wouldn't play video games, and she had never seen him play them before.
So she began to patiently explain the rules of the game to him.
Qi Sheng listened attentively to her finish speaking, then said, "Let's begin."
Gu Luoqi thoroughly enjoyed his attentive, childlike demeanor as he listened to the lesson. "Do you understand?"
All in all, I felt a little unsatisfied.
Now that Qi Sheng is much more familiar with her, he naturally knows what she is thinking at this moment.
"Understood." He smiled and nodded obediently.
Gu Luoqi looked somewhat disappointed, not expecting the other person to learn so quickly. "Alright, let's start the practical exercise now."
She shoved the handle into his hand.
She'll have him practice with her today, and see if she doesn't stun Little Orange tomorrow.
This is an action-oriented game with a good storyline and it's quite famous. Little Orange loved it back then, but I was rather "heartless" and didn't play it with her.
Before playing, she had done some research and found that Qi Sheng seemed to be quite skilled as well.
"Have you played this before?" She felt like she'd been tricked.
"Mm." Qi Sheng nodded, acknowledging it.
Gu Luoqi glared at him angrily, "Then why did you make me say a whole bunch of things just now?"
So this guy was just watching her perform?
Damn it, he's just like everyone else.
Qi Sheng looked somewhat innocent. "You said it yourself."
"And you didn't even ask me if I'd ever played it before." He silenced her with a kiss just as she was about to speak.
Gu Luoqi: "..." He's ruthless.
After several levels, her proficiency improved significantly. It seems she's not exactly clumsy, just a bit less skilled than Qi Sheng.
He's practiced before.
She muttered to herself.
Throughout the game, she felt something was off. Why did it feel like playing games with Qi Sheng to practice was just like completing a task?
Is it because the other party has too high expectations of me?
Or perhaps it's just a matter of being competitive?
She finally breathed a sigh of relief when she heard her father call them for dinner.
After finishing her meal, she didn't bother Qi Sheng any further, but instead chose to lie in bed to digest, even though the system had repeatedly warned her that this behavior was unhealthy.
But her recent performance has been impeccable, so they've turned a blind eye.
"Hey, it seems like quite a few people like my videos." Gu Luoqi opened a well-known short video platform.
Short videos have only recently become popular, but in her memory, this field will eventually become a complete industry chain.
She had no intention of running a dedicated account; she simply wanted to share her life, or more precisely, her daily baking routine.
So there was no deliberate editing, and my account currently only has three videos.
I didn't expect that one of my videos would have so many comments, about a hundred.
"This little cake looks delicious."
"Ahhh, quickly throw it into my mouth."
Comments like, "The process of making this dessert is so therapeutic."
Gu Luoxi casually replied to a few messages and then logged out. She didn't intend to let this matter take up too much of her time. Even if she wanted to manage the account, she would have to wait until after her college entrance exam. Earning extra money through this was still an option.
She just didn't know if the system store had any books or other materials on this topic, so she searched around and found that it actually did.
Since she had nothing to do in the afternoon, she took the opportunity to study traditional Chinese desserts. She found that they were quite difficult to make, at least in terms of their exquisite appearance, which was beyond the reach of a novice like her. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many lost recipes.
She picked out a few things she could do right now and decided to try them out in the next few days, but her priority right now was to go out and shop.
We need to buy some snacks, otherwise how will she survive these few days at home?
But she was shocked when she made the shopping list. There were so many things to buy. She decided to go to a bigger supermarket, but it was a bit far from home. After thinking it over, she decided to bring Qi Sheng along as her "tool".
Before leaving, she asked her father for some money. When her father saw Qi Sheng going out with her, he waved his hand and was much more generous than before.
So she naturally brought him back, and just by looking into his eyes, she could tell he was unwilling.
This made her feel much better, but in reality, she was too happy too soon.
I just got into the taxi and realized I didn't bring my phone.
Her dad transferred money to her, and she only had some tissues with her, and she forgot her phone. What a forgetful person she is!
Moreover, this kind of thing has happened more than once or twice recently.
Perhaps she'd been memorizing too much lately, and her brain wasn't having enough memory, she consoled herself inwardly.
