Chapter 93 Arriving Home

"Huh?" Gu Luoqi didn't react for a moment.

"What are you looking at?" Qi Sheng tilted his head slightly and looked out the window.

"Oh, I wasn't looking at anything." Gu Luoqi's thoughts were interrupted, and her mind was a little foggy for a moment.

"Aren't you carsick today?" She asked, noticing that Qi Sheng was still alive.

"It's alright." Qi Sheng's expression was gentle.

Gu Luoqi glanced at him and noticed that he looked quite well today, so she didn't ask any further questions.

They were almost there when Cheng Cheng decided to get off the bus, since her home was nearby.

"I'm leaving first, don't miss me!" Cheng Cheng laughed wildly.

"Get out of here if you want to," Gu Luoqi said impatiently.

This guy is so greasy, can she cut ties with him?

"Gu Luoxi, you're finished. Don't even think about letting me out of the house tomorrow," Cheng Cheng said viciously.

"Uh, Little Orange, please don't leave me, okay?" It has to be said, Little Orange had her nailed.

There was nothing she could do; she needed their help.

"I'm leaving." Cheng Cheng rolled her eyes at this fickle woman.

But now is not the time to bicker; if she doesn't get off soon, she'll miss her stop.

Gu Luoqi's house wasn't far from Cheng Cheng's house, so they arrived shortly after Xiao Chengzi got off the bus.

"Ya Ya, we can go down now." Gu Luoqi said with a smile.

As soon as she arrived at the entrance of the residential compound, she saw a familiar-looking auntie who smiled and said, "You're back?"

"Mmm." Gu Luoqi nodded obediently.

In front of her elders, she is a very good girl.

"Bringing classmates home to play?" The aunt noticed Li Mingya next to Gu Luoqi.

“Yes.” Gu Luoqi smiled faintly.

"Hello, Auntie." Li Mingya said shyly.

After finally saying goodbye to the overly enthusiastic aunt, Gu Luoqi breathed a sigh of relief.

"Let's go, it's just ahead," she said with a smile, linking arms with Li Mingya.

Li Mingya could only let her pull him along, saying, "Mmm."

Qi Sheng simply followed behind them indifferently.

Having finally arrived at her doorstep, Gu Luoxi quickly took out her keys and opened the door.

"Wife... why are you back?" When Gu's father heard the door open, he thought it was Aunt Qi, but he didn't expect it to be Gu Luoxi.

"Dad doesn't welcome me back?" Gu Luoqi asked with a resentful expression.

As expected, she wasn't their biological daughter.

"How could that be? That's not what Dad meant." Mr. Gu had his usual smile on his face, but his tone was very casual.

Gu Luoqi: Dad, could you please act a little more convincingly? This is making me lose face!

Only then did Mr. Gu notice Li Mingya behind her, and his eyes immediately lit up. "Your friend? Come in and sit down."

When will his own daughter be able to make new friends?

"Mmm." Gu Luoqi nodded repeatedly.

"Why didn't you say so earlier? If I had known, Dad would have come to pick you up." Mr. Gu said with a reproachful look on his face.

His own daughter had finally made a new friend, so he couldn't neglect her.

"Didn't you say you were very busy?" Gu Luoqi rolled her eyes.

Seeing the interaction between the father and daughter, Li Mingya was unsure whether she should speak.

Mr. Gu smiled and said, "Come in and sit down."

“Okay, Uncle.” Li Mingya seemed a little flustered.

Gu Luoqi pulled her along, "Don't be shy, let's go."

"Okay." Li Mingya smiled faintly.

“Yes, don’t be shy, just make yourself at home. I’ll call your aunt right away and ask her to buy more groceries.” Mr. Gu smiled kindly.

"Uncle, there's no need to go to so much trouble, I'll just order something else," Li Mingya quickly said.

"No trouble at all, you and Luo Xi can play first," Mr. Gu said casually.

“But…” Li Mingya didn’t know what to say.

"No buts, you're already at my house, just listen to me." Gu Luoqi suddenly became domineering.
