Chapter 2 Checkup

Su Zhi thought, it was probably left by that woman.

Fu Jinnan returned to the bedroom and changed into home clothes. When he came down, the noodles were already cooked. Su Zhi sat down and served him noodles. Fu Jinnan walked behind her and hugged her.

"Don't think too much. It was crowded in the elevator when we were leaving work. An employee of the company accidentally bumped into him."

Su Zhi knew he was lying. Fu Jinnan had a special elevator in the company. How could he be crowded with employees?

But she didn't expose him. They had been in love for four years, married for three years, and it had been seven years. In the end, the two of them had come to this situation. It was quite boring.

"Let's eat."

After Su Zhi finished speaking, Fu Jinnan let go of her hand, walked to the opposite side, sat down and started eating noodles.

Lying on the bed at night, Su Zhi and Fu Jinnan turned their backs to each other.

They haven't slept in the same bed for half a month. Su Zhi even forgot when they started to like to sleep with their backs to each other. It was probably a year ago.

After a while, Fu Jinnan turned around and held her in his arms. His slender fingers restlessly lifted the hem of her nightgown, and his hot breath hit her ears.

Su Zhi suddenly grabbed his restless hand.

"What? She welcomes me so much, but you don't?" Fu Jinnan joked, and wanted to go deeper.

Su Zhi pulled his hand hard, turned around and distanced herself from him: "Not today, I'm not feeling well."

Fu Jinnan did not force it, he lay down and looked at the ceiling, and did not ask any more questions.

He was now unwilling to give her even the little care he had, and Su Zhi saw his changes.

"Tomorrow, can you accompany me to the hospital? I've been feeling unwell recently and want to go for a check-up."

In fact, Su Zhi could go by herself without him, but she still asked, she still had expectations for him.

Fu Jinnan hesitated for a moment: "There is a meeting tomorrow..."

"It's okay, I can go by myself."

"But you can turn it down. I'll go with you tomorrow."
