However, after waiting for a while, Xu Wei didn't reply. I hesitated for a moment and then sent another message: "Which school are you studying at now?"
Binhai Medical University.
Those four simple words caught my eye.
Because this means I've learned some more information about Xu Wei.
I quickly replied, "That's amazing! That's a well-known 985 university in our Binhai area."
Xu Wei fell silent again.
I've gotten used to it.
After some conversation, I was able to get a general idea of what kind of person Xu Wei was.
He dislikes flattery, speaks simply and directly, and has a somewhat aloof demeanor.
A girl like that would definitely be a cool and aloof campus beauty in college.
But communicating with people like that is actually the easiest.
Because there's no need for too many complicated procedures; you just need to get straight to the point.
Don't bother me if there's nothing wrong with it; relationships don't just disappear on their own.
After waiting a while longer and still receiving no reply from Xu Wei, I stopped bothering her.
I put my phone away and went to Yan Shan, who was busy at work.
When he saw me arrive, Yan Shan glanced at me and teased me with a chuckle, "What? Not going to chat with that girl anymore?"
I rolled my eyes and said irritably, "Can you please stop talking nonsense?"
"I'm not interested in her at all."
Yan Shan chuckled, as if he'd been there all along, "Not interested? You weren't interested when you got the phone number, were you overjoyed?"
Do you think I can't see it?
I sighed. "Anyway, it's not what you think."
I know this matter can't be explained away.
I'm too lazy to explain.
I then asked, "How many coffins are there now?"
Yan Shan pointed around and said, "There are five standard mouths, two small mouths, and one large mouth."
"What's wrong?"
"The project is about to start. Once Gu Lianyi's people arrive, we'll begin marketing. If we don't have any inventory, it will cause some trouble," I explained.
“That’s easy,” Yan Shan said nonchalantly. “Besides what’s here, there are actually some more at home, all saved up over time. There should be enough for twenty or thirty people.”
"So many?" I was somewhat surprised.
Yan Shan sighed, "Before you came, I was the only one here, making coffins whenever I had nothing to do, and naturally, I made a lot of money."
"Looks like you've been slacking off lately," I said with a smile.
Yan Shan glared at me with a smile, "You don't know anything."
"I made so many things before purely out of hobby, but I couldn't sell them."
"That was before," I said seriously. "You'll probably be working overtime soon."
Yan Shan said nonchalantly, "That's fine. As long as you can find me a few apprentices, nothing else matters."
"I'll do my best." I nodded.
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
You subconsciously look up and see a young woman with a pale face walk in.
Is anyone home?
I got up and walked over.
"Sister, is there anything you need?"
"I'd like to order a coffin," the woman said, looking around.
I quickly replied, "What kind do you want?"
"Do you need anything?"
"Something a bit more expensive, preferably the most expensive one you have here." The woman thought for a moment and said, "Price is not a problem."
My eyes lit up.
Looks like the first order has arrived!
