Chapter 41 You've fallen in love with Yan Yin, haven't you? (2/2)

I looked in the direction Song Qingrong pointed. There was a river there. I noticed it when Song Qingrong mentioned wanting to take a boat ride before we came. If I'm not mistaken, that river is the moat, which connects to where Yan Yin rests.

I didn't refuse, since we had agreed on it from the beginning.

We boarded the ship quickly, and Song Qingrong, beaming with joy, led me to the bow. At the same time, she said, "Xu Ruo, the deck is the best place to see the night view because there's a breeze there, and when the breeze blows, your worries will disappear."

"I hope that after tonight, you will no longer have any worries."

"You will also live towards the sun, just as Yan Yin hoped."

"Then I hope that from now on, you will be happy too." I smiled and nodded, then added, "You will also find someone who loves you, and whom you love in return, to spend the rest of your life with..."

"Xu Ruo!" Song Qingrong glared at me, somewhat displeased. "Why are you bringing this up again?"

"Okay... I won't say anything more." I said with a smile, "This is the last time."

"But that is indeed my hope."

"You're so annoying!" Song Qingrong didn't want to talk to me, so she walked to the side and leaned against the railing, then called out to me, "Xu Ruo, take a picture of me and Yan Yin."

"Yan Yin?" I was taken aback.

Only then did she realize that, without her noticing, Song Qingrong had acquired a photograph in her hand—a photograph of Yan Yin.

In the photo, Yan Yin is wearing her first makeup look, done entirely by herself, and she's smiling happily.

I never expected that Song Qingrong would tell me about Yan Yin's existence in this way, nor did I expect that Song Qingrong would not mind my longing for Yan Yin.

This leaves me somewhat at a loss for words.

It took me a while to come to my senses, and I replied with a smile, "Okay!"

After the photo was taken, Song Qingrong came up to me, handed me Yan Yin's photo, and said, "Yan Yin told me before that she wanted to come to Xitang."

"She said she wanted to see the scenery of Xitang and take beautiful photos on the Xitang River, just like those couples."

At this point, Song Qingrong's eyes reddened.

"But she didn't wait for us to come together. We had originally planned to invite you to come with us."

"She's been looking forward to this for so long!"

I took the photo, looked at Yan Yin in it, and remained silent for a while before suppressing my complicated emotions and saying, "Now she's here."

"Isn't that so?"

I smiled and looked at Song Qingrong, "Take a picture of me and Yan Yin together."

"I'll take it to her then."

This time, Song Qingrong didn't refute what I said; she just wiped her eyes and nodded.

After taking the photos, we leaned against the railing and looked in the direction of Sunshine Park.

Only then did I realize that Song Qingrong had come here for Yan Yin.

This made me feel even more guilty towards Song Qingrong.

Even now, I'm not sure if I love her or not.

We remained silent until the cruise ship was about to return to shore, when Song Qingrong suddenly asked me, "Xu Ruo, do you not want to take wedding photos with me?"

"You don't want to marry me?"

I paused for a moment, then asked, "Why are you suddenly asking this?"

"You've fallen in love with Yan Yin, haven't you?" Song Qingrong looked at me.

I looked at her too, but this time, I found that I couldn't deny it.

After waiting a while, Song Qingrong smiled again and said, "If you don't answer, then I'll take it as a denial!"
