Chapter 195: Exploring the Secrets of the Cave

The little robot was holding a white stone the size of a basketball with an uneven surface.

The stone was still sparkling. Chu Yao took it and felt a complex and violent demonic power inside it.

It looked a bit like a demon pill, but Chu Yao felt it was clearly not one. She had seen demon pills from level 10 demon beasts before, but she didn't remember any of them being this shaped.

Is this a new invention of the Insect Fire Cult? Or did they pluck it from some mutated Zerg?

"Where did you pick this up?"

The little robot waved and pointed at the truck left behind by the Fire Worm Cultists not far away.

"Anything else?"

It shook its head.

Chu Yao found a larger square iron box in the storage bag and put it away.

Whatever it is, it might be useful in the future, so keep it for now.

When we meet the Chonghuo Cult again, we can just capture the two people and ask them.

Saving Qingxuan was just a small episode. Chu Yao soon put it behind his mind. After collecting some available resources, he flew to the cave without stopping.

Xiaoye was at the critical juncture of a breakthrough. With nothing else to do, Chu Yao took care of the spiritual fields while accompanying her senior sister to protect the Dharma.

Xiaoye has been accumulating experience for a long time, and now she is finally making a breakthrough.

A week later, a surge of magical power at the foundation-building stage gushed out from the room where she was in seclusion. Chu Yao and Bai Yuejian, who were guarding outside, smiled at each other.

The most difficult level has been passed, and the next step is to stabilize the realm. Xiao Ye no longer needs the two to continue to protect him.

After Bai Yuejian repaired the formation, he and Chu Yao went to the cave at the bottom of the mountain again.

After not seeing it for many days, the flickering formation seemed to shine even brighter.

"Are you ready?"

"It couldn't be better."

One on the left and one on the right, the two men placed their hands on the formation.

Time seemed to freeze here. Chu Yao's eyes blurred, and the next second she was transported to an unfamiliar place.

The view in front of me suddenly opened up, and I saw a clear sky. Beneath the sky, there was a pool of blue and transparent water, calm and without any waves.

Surrounding the lake are lush forests and rolling hills in the distance. There are flowers and plants everywhere, birds singing and insects chirping.

Take a deep breath, the fresh air mixed with the fragrance of grass and soil is refreshing.

For a moment, Chu Yao thought she had returned to Feng Yuan.

I've been in the wasteland for so long that I almost forgot what green looks like.

Bai Yuejian was beside her and was a little surprised to see this scene, but not surprised.

Chu Yao turned around and saw a formation that looked exactly the same as the one she had just seen. It was not far behind her, and behind it was an endless forest.

The two used their spiritual sense at the same time and found that their spiritual sense was restricted to a very small area. An invisible wall formed a barrier with the lake in front of them as the center.

Bai Yuejian walked over to the small formation and looked at it: "Hmm, it's the same small teleportation formation as when we came in. We should be able to get out from here."

Chu Yao took a few steps towards the woods behind him, but before he got far, he was stopped by the invisible barrier.

"It not only restricts our spiritual consciousness, but also restricts our movements. Without the cultivation of the Nascent Soul, it is estimated that we will not be able to break through this spiritual wall."

Both of them are experienced in exploring secret places, and they know what to do first as soon as they enter.

Bai Yuejian used the materials in Chu Yao's storage bag to set up several protective formations near the teleportation array. After ensuring a safe retreat, the two began to explore along the lake.

After circling the spirit wall, they returned to their original spot. Apart from birds, beasts, and fish, they found no signs of other living creatures.

There are no traces of buildings, and this place looks like an uncultivated primeval forest.

"These flying birds and small animals are not fake, they really live here." Chu Yao's face showed a thoughtful look. "Senior Sister, what do you think? I don't believe there are such clean places on Lingyuan Star now."

"The distance of that small teleportation array isn't far." Bai Yuejian touched the invisible wall and expressed his opinion, "We are definitely still in Lingyuan, but we can also say that we are not in Lingyuan."

"Why are you playing dumb again..."

"What I mean is that this might be an independent space opened up by a powerful monk, a 'small world' within the 'big world'. I've encountered similar places before in Fengyuan, and the texture of this spiritual wall is exactly the same as it was then."

“To give birth to a whole world, even a cultivator who has reached the Divine Transformation stage cannot do this, right?” Chu Yao took a breath of cold air.

But it was just a casual remark, after all, she had never seen a cultivator in the Spirit Transformation Realm.

"Who knows? Perhaps we'll only understand after we reach the Divine Transformation stage... Then there's only one place left."

After Bai Yuejian finished speaking, the two of them looked towards the center of the lake together.

After adjusting their condition to the best, Bai Yuejian and Chu Yao walked onto the lake, walked on the water, and headed towards the center of the lake.

Not long after walking, a sudden change occurred.

A light mist suddenly rose in the center of the lake. Above the calm lake water, a unique pavilion was looming in the mist.

In a small pavilion with gleaming tiles and jade pillars, a figure sits at a stone table, seemingly sipping tea.

"You two young friends have been here for a while, why don't you come into the pavilion and chat?"

A vicissitudes of life voice drifted from the pavilion. Chu Yao and the other man looked at each other, and a spiritual light appeared around them. They walked towards that direction cautiously.

When I got closer, I realized that it was the shadow of an old man.

The old man had his hair tied behind his head, a long beard, and a simple Taoist robe that swayed slightly as he raised his glass.

"Junior is bothering me."

"You're welcome. Sit down and try the magical tea I planted myself."

The old man waved his hand, and two teacups appeared on the table, and the fragrance of tea filled the air.
