44. Pregnancy

The unsettling noises continued for a full hour. When the door opened again, Pimin was shocked to find that everything in the room had been torn to shreds. Not only were the furnishings tattered, but even the walls were ripped to shreds, with not a single spot intact.
Looking at the man slumped at the door, drenched in sweat and seemingly exhausted, Pi Min was at a loss.
